I blame this society. This type of thing doesn't happen everywhere! Whilst I was in Saudi Arabia a complete stranger who was giving me a lift left me in his car with the key in the ignition, whilst he walked down the street and spoke to his friend. There are also videos online where people have left iPads out in public or in plain view on their car seat in the UAE. Nobody stole it!
I was going to a job interview today I was so excited and trying to find the place on google maps some guy came up from behind me and snatched my phone and I was so startled and screamed he ended up dropping my phone
I’m guilty , it could have been me screaming like that poor girl 🤣🤣🤣🤣 After seeing this video on TikTok and other people sharing their experiences, I'm a bit more cautious outside with phone ‼️#whatascaryworld
Leave your phone in your pocket and use a smart watch. Also, using a smart watch will act as a backup to your bank cards and personal data, should your phone be stolen and you're far from home. Otherwise, just stay off your device and be more aware of your surroundings.
I appreciate your effort, but wrist band is REALLY dangerous. They can break your wrist, trying to pull at their high speed, which is even worse than just losing the phone! They can even pull you down to the concrete breaking your head, etc. Very very dangerous advice. Best not to pull the phone out!
I find it hilarious that there's so much crime about, yet you're regularly seeing people walking around with big arse DJ headphones on their ears, with their face stuck in a phone, watching TikToks whilst they jaywalk. Natural selection always finds a way. I've spoken to some of these people and they say that the headphones are their way of saying that they don't want a chat. I don't think the thieves got the memo, the boy's got anxiety and doesn't feel like getting robbed today.
Form my experience form London I always bought a phone case with a lanyard and a pop socket so it’s harder to steal as the friction and grip is better, or you can lock it in a bum bag so you can supervise the bag 24/7
Not always possible, i.e. if you're doing deliveries, which is when phone thieves (and bike thieves) become a constant nuisance. The real solution is to wake up and have some fucking situational awareness. I swear people just walk about the streets like they're walking about their own home. And then when they do get home, they don't even bother to lock their doors.
Bro while people should be aware, it should be OK to use your phond in public whatever you are. Blame the thiefs not the victims.
