Your tourist guide is so kind. Tourist are forbidden to go see the tomb of Miguel Lopez de Legazpi, the lady said "bawal" means forbidden or not allowed. He did that just to satisfy his customer. This is a filipino kindness. Plus senior citizen discount and smart tourist guide.
Guide dude seems genuinely friendly and has great history & knowledge of the area! Joyride seems much more fun and quicker to get about, rather than grab.
I went into one of the colleges in Intramuros, so 10 years ago for 4 years, this was the daily view for me, but still in awe of this city’s beauty. Hope you enjoyed Intramuros.
Another excellent video, the tour guide and his son offered really good detailed information, it's nice to see you being generous with your money they deserved it. Most of Manila probably look like intramuros in the past. But sadly all those were gone because of the selfishness of Japan and USA who bombed Manila in WW2. Now they were replaced by mess up houses and skyscrapers with no proper urban planning.

It’s worth paying your tour guide and the calesa ride because you have gone around the whole place with lots of information, too. I used to work there with Far East Bank in Intramuros, but I’m not able to tour around. I remember San Agustin Church and the Manila Carhedral, and I’m always passing by the Fort Santiago which I used to visit in 1984. I enjoyed your blog. Thanks.

It seems like drivers are not so keen on going there. Instead I waved down a taxi but they were all saying meter + 100 which seemed a bit weird to me. After waving down about 3 I finally found one that would take me to Makati for meter fare only.

Visit Baguio, Sagada and the rest of the mountain province if you want to explore while enjoying the cool breeze of the Philippines' nature. It's far from the chaotic cities of metro manila and you might find the people there even more friendly.
Angkas and Joyride is the best way to go around metro manila.. Those 2 women saves you a lot of time and money. It is very nice for them to suggests it.

This was such an amazing dale adventure, starting off going on a tour ride going threw the old roads and city of manilla with the tour, while passing by amazing friendly people welcoming dale, then going to very old places, such as that church, the museum and the walls, from there when the adventure on the horse was done the adventure didnt end there, for then dale headed to go to the bridge, then the park and went to view the Chinatown. And to end the day with an amazing joy ride. What an adventure!

Google is right LOMI is a definitely pinoy dish adopted by our country it was made by Chinese local who have been settled here for years they have the one called Lor mee (Hokkien) it is very similar also. Ours is LOMI full of Pinoy ingredients that is why it is so flavorful cause we Pinoy love our dish to be tasty. If you want also to have lots of street foods just go to UGBO TONDO manila at night and QUIPO market area where you can find lots of Pinoy street foods. Also you can google about pinoy street foods then ask the locals if where to find and eat for example BALUT OR ISAW they can easily know the location where u can eat.

You can ask them for receipt. Just tell them it's a company thing 😂 for reimbursement to avoid being scammed

This was such an amazing dale adventure, starting off going on a tour ride going threw the old roads and city of manilla with the tour, while passing by amazing friendly people welcoming dale, then going to very old places, such as that church, the museum and the walls, from there when the adventure on the horse was done the adventure didnt end there, for then dale headed to go to the bridge, then the park and went to view the Chinatown. And to end the day with an amazing joy ride.

Hey, Dale nice to see you again on another exciting video. Google is right LOMI is a definitely pinoy dish adopted by our country it was made by Chinese local who have been settled here for years they have the one called Lor mee (Hokkien) it is very similar also. Ours is LOMI full of Pinoy ingredients that is why it is so flavorful cause we Pinoy love our dish to be tasty. If you want also to have lots of street foods just go to UGBO TONDO manila at night and QUIPO market area where you can find lots of Pinoy street foods. Also you can google about pinoy street foods then ask the locals if where to find and eat for example BALUT OR ISAW they can easily know the location where u can eat.

don't be too harsh to yourself. got a good ol' exploring of Intramuros with a good guide,having a taste of Lomi (look a bit similar to Udon,fascinatingly enough),encountering an absolutely cuddly chow-chow dog and surviving the madness of Manilla's traffic is pretty productive day in my view 😆
