- It's time to pull some dents out of this 1980 Camaro. I will be buying a stud welder from Harbor Freight. I've never used one but it's time to change that. I'll be pulling several dents from several different locations and curves on the body. I will also be modifying the dent puller to be more effective.
Glad you showed this stud welder. Think I'll go ahead and order me one.
I'm definitely happy with it.
Bought me one several years ago. At first I pulled few holes in some things, no big deal, fixed alot more stuff than I ever imagined. With a little patience that thing can work some real magic
It's already made my life easier. Pulling metal without having to drill a hole or with no access from the back is amazing. I'm sure with a little practice I will get better with it.
Those repairs look great. Have seen those dent puller tools before and the results have been excellent. Little bit of bondo and that body is gonna look great in paint. Looking forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
I'm very happy with the puller. Especially for the price. Hope you are having a good weekend Brian.
Glad your keeping the work up keep the videos coming and I’ll watch it a couple times to help pay the bills
Thanks buddy!
Awesome video DAVID. Thanks for sharing. Starting to shape up. Keep the content coming. Stay cool and enjoy your night. Much love and RESPECT
I have been melting down. Thanks for watching Tim. Hope you have a great week buddy 🤙
I am amazed you are not getting flash rust with the open to the air bare steel. Hope your Ohio trip bares fruit.
I've done this several times and never really had an issue. Before primer I'll hit it with 80 grit on a da.
Nice, thanks for showing this. I haven't used my stud welder yet.
This confirmed my thoughts that i definitely need to wait till i can also afoard a mig welder (all i have is a Lincoln tombstone right now).
If i blew a hole in my car now id be screwed trying to stick weld it😄.
The stud welder did great but you're definitely going to need a different welder. 😂
I bought one of those identical stud guns about 15 years ago. I still have it and it still works great. The slide hammer that came with it is a little worn out but the stud gun is great.
Well I hope mine lasts that long. thanks for watching.
Great video Brotha!!!
Thanks buddy, hope you are doing well!
If you wiggle the studs while they're in the tool they'll break off. Saves effort
Thanks
Heck yeah! More progress! 👍
I'm like the Energizer Bunny I just keep going. 😂 Thanks for watching Liberty!
If you don’t want to buy a dash you should make your own I think it would be a kool experiment custom by David
That's an option I have considered. Time will at some point be my enemy. I'm also looking at an entire parts car if the seller and I can come together on price.
awesome, love that dent puller, where did you get it and what it cost? i need to get one for my dad since he does all the body work and painting, i have a couple dents in mine, small ones but id rather pull them vs fill them with bondo......, keep up the killer work my friend
It's from harbor freight and only costs $100. Definitely worth the money! Thanks for watching buddy!
Thanks for not showing the welds I get tired dog my eye balls melting when TH-camrs weld in front of the camera
I do it sometimes but I try to keep it down.
Sorry just seen you do it further through the vid
😂
