  • It's time to pull some dents out of this 1980 Camaro. I will be buying a stud welder from Harbor Freight. I've never used one but it's time to change that. I'll be pulling several dents from several different locations and curves on the body. I will also be modifying the dent puller to be more effective.

Bought me one several years ago. At first I pulled few holes in some things, no big deal, fixed alot more stuff than I ever imagined. With a little patience that thing can work some real magic

It's already made my life easier. Pulling metal without having to drill a hole or with no access from the back is amazing. I'm sure with a little practice I will get better with it.

Those repairs look great. Have seen those dent puller tools before and the results have been excellent. Little bit of bondo and that body is gonna look great in paint. Looking forward to more. Be safe and stay well.

I'm very happy with the puller. Especially for the price. Hope you are having a good weekend Brian.

I bought one of those identical stud guns about 15 years ago. I still have it and it still works great. The slide hammer that came with it is a little worn out but the stud gun is great.

The stud welder did great but you're definitely going to need a different welder. 😂

I am amazed you are not getting flash rust with the open to the air bare steel. Hope your Ohio trip bares fruit.

I've done this several times and never really had an issue. Before primer I'll hit it with 80 grit on a da.

awesome, love that dent puller, where did you get it and what it cost? i need to get one for my dad since he does all the body work and painting, i have a couple dents in mine, small ones but id rather pull them vs fill them with bondo......, keep up the killer work my friend

If you wiggle the studs while they're in the tool they'll break off. Saves effort

If you don’t want to buy a dash you should make your own I think it would be a kool experiment custom by David

That's an option I have considered. Time will at some point be my enemy. I'm also looking at an entire parts car if the seller and I can come together on price.
