With fields full of pumpkins and forests full of ghosts, this New England state might be the perfect place for tricks and treats. From: AERIAL AMERICA: Connecticut bit.ly/1rTYCx2
😂😂😂 MrBallen just uploaded a video about its history on his channel today..I decided to look for more about it bc it had me intrigued..and that's why I came across THIS, whatever this is 😂
@@dionst.michael1482I definitely wasn't interested in pumpkins. I wanted to hear more about the history of dudleytown, CT, and why some claim it's cursed.
I went ghost hunting there once a few years ago, it was about 3:30 am when out of nowhere all the crickets stopped chirping and all the critters stopped making all their nightly noises and it got dead quiet then out of nowhere I heard a whisper cut through the dark stillness of the forest and it said, “Devon…get the table!” Whoa still after all these years it gives me the heebie jeebies. Dudley forest man…am I right😂😂😂
This seems to be the same rhetoric across the board, regarding what takes place In the forest/national parks of the Americas.Extremely mysterious piece of landmass
and then...devon climbed to the top of the tree and jumped off. smashing his someones balls while wiggling his tongue saying wazzzzaaaahhhh. that place is haunted man
Ive been there i live close by. 2 things happened. None of our pictures developed from there but others on the roll did. Also when we started hiking in we didnt hear any animals birds squirrels bugs nothin it was quite. The neighborhood people chase you out of there . they dont like all the traffic on their little quite road. I really cant blame them for that.
@@StonerSmurfS I wouldn’t say I received a curse but no lie after that trip my family started having experiences in our house and I never mentioned that dudleytown trip to my parents until after I had moved out. My sister saw a black shadow go past her bedroom while she was putting on a jacket to go to school I myself was playing halo with my cousin bedroom door closed and heard scratching at my door and at the time a gf of mine was sleeping with me on bed woke me up to show me a orange orb flying in circles under my fire alarm. During the trip up in dudleytown it was eerily quiet it seemed like no animals were up there at all. There was a random arrow made out of sticks on the ground pointing to the right when we came back the arrows were facing the opposite direction. The place is weird for sure and the neighbors are even weirder and will call the cops. But take note since that trip I do feel as though something attached itself it was just too coincidental stuff around the house was happening as it never did before.
Is it haunted? Also why are the people their “hostile” to outsiders? I understand the conservation aspect, but there are many towns that do conservation but allow visitors. I think that’s what adds to the “mystery” of the place. I’d love to see the geology of the area (what types of rocks, crystals, minerals, etc.) and if it lies on any fault lines.
@@GardeninGrace The people there consider it their "neck of the woods" and feel outsiders are intruding. They have a reputation for chasing people off. My comment was concerned with the mystique of Connecticut. Many places there are, such as this one, that are not only haunted, but also which have beautiful natural energy.
@@GardeninGrace the people there are hostile to outsiders cus they are miserable !! If you go do not stop at the local deli/gas station, and definitely do not ask about Dudleytown!! !!
@@jessicachernak8699 Theres a big chance that the Dudley brothers ancestors were originally from Dudley uk then, the surname was given to people who may not have had a trade in the firs uk sensus so would have been given a town name.
@@meljohn73 Agreed. One of my grandparents last names is “Titheridge” and although it’s not a place in England, it apparently means the people at the edge of the woods. I have no idea where “Wheble”/“Wheable” comes from however.
Is it true too that a man bought it in the early 1900s as a summer home, left his wife there, and she killed herself? Heard that in a slapped ham video but don’t know if that’s true
They should just run guided tours. The ghost/haunted curious are still gonna find their way in. I wonder if there is a reddit on how to get into the "haunted" forest? 🤔
You have to walk quite a ways on & through private property, which is why it isn’t available to the public. That’s not cool. A lot of vandalism has taken place. People have disrespected the area & trashed it so it had to be roped off.
Wy so many places in America are cursed? Or does it have something to do with the history (brutal slavery and the masacre of the indegenous North Americans?)
If brutality and massacre of indigenous groups were a reason for cursing a country, the whole of England would be cursed...just ask the people of India, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Australia, Egypt, much of Africa, etc.
I learned more about pumpkins than why the town is cursed.
Man this made me laugh
