Teens React #115 - TEENS REACT TO WINDOWS 95
I don't understand how these kids can't figure out which button turns the computer on. That hasn't changed at all in the passed 20 years.
*past
@Owen Labonte *their
I'm always confused by this, too.
probably all in one pc's
Cuz they’re stupid
Windows 95?! I'm still on windows 10....
MrShoy It is not actually, using it, no problems and yes i know about the spyware but i don't pirate games so idgaf.
For real?
Haha nice
I laughed more than I should
MrShoy Lies.
Pre historic? Really? It was only 21 years ago girl chill
basically prehistoric, time began in the 2000s 😂
And one of them has 19 im 21 and know and use those computers
but look at how far we've come since then
IKR
It is a dinosaur it's older than they are well some of them
These teens act like they’re caveman discovering food
Cause the boys in the hood are always hard
You come talkin’ the trash, we’ll pull your card
Knowin’ nothin’ in life, but to be legit
Don’t quote me, boy, ’cause I ain’t said shit- Eazy E.
*more time taken more time for ads, and it works*
@Big J Yh, it all died in like 2010 for good.
I was 13 and running a win 95 VM.
Imagine if they'd played Minesweeper...
No wifi? what? Its a desktop PC. You stick an ethernet cable in there, which is still superior to wifi.
meanwhile, I'm using ethernet cable on my laptop... there's no wifi here, only ethernet socket at the wall... do teens nowadays expect to have wifi everywhere??
+NurHidayat96 since they usually connect with phones, yeah. They can't plug Ethernet cables in phones
@@F0urq Ethernet is a cable, you're confusing ethernet with broadband (DSL,Fiber,Cable...) my friend. And you're also correct. You didn't use ethernet cables, you used landline cables. Next time write in "In my time there was no broadband buddy!" to be more accurate
@@brotnjanin well, technically landline cables is a broad term that doesnt necessairly pertain to any tech.
Using Ethernet to describe LAN's and such is a bit erroneous, since the Internet itself is a form of Ethernet.
You used twisted pair connections, or more vaguely you can refer as "copper" lines.
Most popular physical ethernet connection techs: coaxial(coax), twisted pair(TP), fiber optics. (albeit, TP is still the ubiquitous tech).
@@rrs_13 I was waiting for you to tell him what the ethernet port was called. RJ 45 btw XD
What is a modem? Seriously? Computers still use them...
ikr...
lol what I'm saying
+switchbuckle5th we dont technically use modems anymore. we use adsl/cable routers.
+CommanderChronicles You still use a modem to interpret the signals from the ISP. You are part of the teenage crowd aren't you?
Ikr
like wtf? You still have a computer and a monitor... Why would you try to turn on the computer pressing the button on the monitor? That part hasn't changed a bit.
+Henrik Rónai They're thinking of laptops.
+Henrik Rónai
The all-in-ones are slowly taking over :O
Today you just press one button on your computer to start it, because the monitor is most time in standby. I think they pressed the first button looking like a powerbutton they could find, without knowing the monitor has to start seperatly

“How do I get on the web if there’s no wifi?” Hard wired internet is still a thing!

Ethernet is way faster and stable compared to using wifi. My cable broke so I fucking hate using the wifi cause of how unstable it gets and the latency.

To be fair, back in the mid 90s only hard core tech nerds would know how to flawlessly operate a computer, especially if it ran on DOS instead of Windows. I know this because I knew how to use a computer, and my friends at school will say "You're such a nerd."
exactly. im 17 and know how this works. probably because my parents were poor and couldnt afford to upgrade until like 2008. we got a Windows XP computer and got rid of dial-up at the same time.

@@robertsitch1415 Social Media is what ruined the internet. Before that came along the calibre of people using it was higher, and the level of conversation was more interesting. I used those... i had to teach my family how to use DOS first, and later Windows 3.1.. by the time Windows 95 came out, they pretty much had it sorted.. i'm 51 now, and i'm stll familiar with DOS.. by the way.. when did microsoft remove hyperterminal from windows? I still have devices that can connect through a 9 pin RS232 cable.. i want my hyperterm.exe back!

If you're 18 and can't figure out how to turn on a desktop society has failed you
We still use modems today, and a lot of them didn't even know what one is.
They never walk around their house and find out where tf does their wifi come from

Thirteen floppies? Windows 95 came in *_ONE CD!!!_* (you could, if absolutely necessary, specially order it as thirteen floppies ...but that was a VERY RARE exception!)
You still need to turn the tower and monitor on separately nowadays, where did you find these kids?
+TheRealGaffer Probably working on an all-in-one...
+Tauch Sieder there are some all in ones the local library here has some
+TheRealGaffer The monitor might stay on stand by mode after you swith off the tower with atx power supply (100% of towers have it). So the tower is off without using power button and the screen stays on stand by. Am I right?
was that the Indian kid from Jessie?

I like how they're like "what is that ancient thing called modem" yet modems are still used to this day to connect us to the internet and how they're also trying to turn on the PC from the monitor while monitors and computers work exactly the same way nowadays, each has its own power button. Some of the teens in this video seem to be smarter than others.
These teens are 16-19 and they haven't seen these or used one? Come on!!!!! I'm 19 and I've used this!

Thanks fam...
+Kathryn W. ,
Don't worry , i'm born in 60's ,
my first computer was a Sinclair ZX 81 :)
+Kathryn W. 1989 brah, I think I am signing up for retirement home tomorrow and move in next year.
Are you a computer?
I'm a 1980s guy, as long as I remember I have seen and used windows 1995 before, although not my computer. I also used dial up modem intensively. What a nostalgia. These teens should be grateful to have been born in this high tech age where we simply have so many useful apps and games in android, windows 10 and IOS and high speed internet.
@All Seeing Eye Windows Vista is literally the most modern Windows I have lmao
