With a win-loss record of 946-180, she is the winningest coach in college basketball history, picked up seven NCAA titles, but most importantly she is famous for being a leader on and off the court.     i really like pat summitt she seems like a nice lady and i know she is a really really good coach... i wish i could meet her ..

    Hey stillgotit01 glad to hear you had nice things to say about Pat...your probably wondering why I'm glad well its because shes my cousin...yeah I know its really cool to be related to a famous person. But yeah i just wanted to say hey and thanks for saying good things about her.

    Well, it is very sad that she has been diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer's. I watched the interview on the Washington Post website with one of two journalists to whom she had granted interviews and I have to say it was illuminating. During the course of the interview, Pat spoke perhaps four minutes and said "you know" about 40 times. That is odd for her. One of the questions had three parts and Pat answered none of them. I think her decline will be rapid and has already begun, unfortunately.
