Being from Tennessee (Memphis), I grew up watching her. Now about to begin my path (in Pedagogy), I personally want to thank you Mrs./Coach Pat Summit. Your grit, toughness, knowledge of the game, approach, Kindness, love, and so much more. I study her and truly admire her coaching prowess, simply the best...no words can express this...what I would give to be a fly on the wall at one of her impactful speeches. A true trailblazer and pioneer of basketball, with that I salute you, Coach...Thank you, thank you kindly.

The greatest coach of all time. She was the epitome of grace, strength, mental toughness and the ability to bring out the best in each and every player. She continued to be humble throughout her career. How blessed I have been to live in this era to witness the greatness of this wonderful woman.
