I never have been a Lady Gaga fan until I saw this movie.
I was so impressed with her acting ability and I love the no makeup look I think she's beautiful.
David Mann I second this. I liked a million reasons but this movie did it for me. I have to say.., I am a fan now! She & Bradley were fantastic. In the movie you could see her true beauty, not the meat dress mess!!! It was brilliant!!! She’s come a long ways!!! Bravo to her!

@CAM you are right! Beyonce was supposed to be lead a actress when Clint Eastwood held the right to the movie and he even offered Cooper a leading role... After that Cooper was offered to purchase the movie rights but according to him he simply wasn't ready.. And after he saw Gaga perform "La vie en rose" he bought the movie and offered her the role.. Well the rest is history.. Thank God Beyonce got pregnant and haven't got the role.. It would've sucked!!
@CAM Beyonce demanded $6mil and all her staff including songwriters. Yes she has a voice but I never could care less about her and her diva attitude. She would never be able to be stripped down and have genuine chemistry like Gaga.. Oh and she can't act. Gaga I liked always but was never her fan but after I learned more about her after her documentary and now after ASIB I'm little monster! Gaga and Bradley genuinely love each other and are soulmates just not romantically(??) and we all saw that. I adore her.. Despite her chronic pain she still owns the stage. And she's just like Bradley said beautiful human being. I absolutely love how she always puts others first just like after Oscar's performance during standing o's she pointed with her hand to Bradley giving him all credits. Would Beyonce do that? I literally walked out of the theater after seeing this movie, drove to Target and bought this soundtrack. I can't remember the last actual CD I went out and bought. And it's been on my stereo constantly since then. I loved the point in the movie where Ally is having trouble recording the vocals for this song in the studio, and Jackson comes into the booth with her, sits her down at the piano and she just nails it. This video is SO GOOD.
