Definitely took the good stuff out those 3 that you were asking about are tie rod adjustment tools. Your mystery kit is for Pulling rear end bearings out of axles they attached to a slide hammer
They retail at $16500 but this box is 25 years old and also no one pays the full list price the dealer always runs specials and rebates. But yes they are very expensive
Yes, they are mechanics time savers rebranded as KD, I kept a few for my personal toolbox to sort specialty sockets like adapters, spark plug sockets, and 8 points. Makes it so easier to see and store.
75 bucks for a Delta drill press!?! Fawk me runnin'. I've been trying to find a good deal on a press and here you go getting a freaking steal. Nice. Good on ya
That shop master delta benchtop drll press is a good deal my grandpa used one on his farm for drilling all kinds of materials for different jobs.for years.
I eventually want to buy a decent used snap on mt2500 diagnostic scanner set i used to have a 88 Chevy S10 regular cab short bed 2wd Tahoe and a 89 Chevy S10 regular cab short bed 2wd el, and a early 94 Chevy k1500 extended cab short bed Z71 Silverado and those scanners would have been handy instead i was using the same auto code light flash book and gm code jumper key to read the trouble codes
True craft used to be sold through pep boys parts stores in the mid 80's to the mid 90's, no f150 Triton v8 fords for me thanks ill keep my roller cam pushrod Mopar magnum 318 v8.. its in a kinda odd or at least not very common anymore 2000 dodge ram laramie slt quad cab long bed gloss black with most of a white pinstripe manual shift transfer case lever on the floor 46 RE AT transmission 1500 4x4!!!
I've always done good by throwing a bunch of the lesser tools i didn't want into a box at my yard sale. and put $25-$35 dollars on each box. And they sell. But its hard to sell the cheaper tools individually I've also done good selling certain tools on Facebook marketplace in the past but things are changing now with Facebook trying to extort money out lf everybody with the boost feature. Very sad. :/
Plastic welder gm gbody and fbody cars that is how you used to try to piece the fiberglass nose cones back together because for years much like the mid 70's Chrysler b body charger se, dodge magnum, Chrysler Cordoba they were not so easy to acquire parts for and you couldn't afford to buy it from the dealership to fix the car.
$2k is a little rich for me. I’m sure that box with the cabinets could bring in about a grand and you can probably get a grand for the tools but I don’t see too much profit there. Regardless, cool pick up.
We actually were able to get $2000 back out of the main box and side cabinet after completely emptying it. We kept the top chest and a lot of the tools inside and made some money on the stuff we weren’t interested in
Hope you got some old vehicles because a lot of those tools are obsolete for modern vehicles. New guys don't know what to do with a timing light or a old out dated tool.
This had the potential to be a great video, but before you start filming, you should familiarize yourself with what the tools are. If you could keep the camera a little closer to the tools, that would be great, too. The view, for the most part, is just a little too far back. Focus on the better tools by opening up the cases and less on everything else. Show a little of the loading and unloading and strapping down of the box. Talk about how you plan to repair the slides and market the box and what price you will try to sell the box for. Good buy, though.
The benchtop drill press for $75 was a decent deal...✔️ I wouldn't have given him two thousand dollars if after you come over to do the deal, he starts picking tools out of it... I would have told him every time you take tools out of it. The price goes down a 100 bucks😂. 16:50.. self-leveling laser level..☝️
The seller really stiffed you on this. Half the tools from the sets are missing. 😂 but I guess 2k for all of it was good. The box alone was worth it. But you got screwed over with the tools and other junk in the drawers.
May not want to offend people who could be potential buyers. Some people are very sensitive to the vehicle that they own and would have nothing to do with someone who is opinionated
Definitely took the good stuff out those 3 that you were asking about are tie rod adjustment tools. Your mystery kit is for Pulling rear end bearings out of axles they attached to a slide hammer
Thanks 👍
I would definitely say that was a good deal, just the box and side cabinet alone is good for the money, all the extra tools definitely a bonus.
Sure is!
32:24 those are for alighments to turn the tie-rod turnbuckles on older vehicles that have mechanical linkages rather than a rack and pinion
Thanks!
The 3 black tools in the small box are axle bearing pullers thread them on to a slide hammer and bang ‘em out
Great tools!
Great buy! Tools are a bonus.
Yes they are!
That tap and die set is manufactured by Irwin for SnapOn
Yea classic snap on rebranding
@@thenkgarage doesn't mean it's not good though. I have Irmin bits and taps and they work fine
the tools you asked about are tie rod keys for doing alignments.
Will definitely be keeping those!
isnt the tool box alone around 2k+ new?
They retail at $16500 but this box is 25 years old and also no one pays the full list price the dealer always runs specials and rebates. But yes they are very expensive
@@thenkgarage 16k??? jesus man
Those magnetic socket holders look like they're Mechanics Time Savers, but they do a ton of rebranding so KD may sell them under their name too
Yes, they are mechanics time savers rebranded as KD, I kept a few for my personal toolbox to sort specialty sockets like adapters, spark plug sockets, and 8 points. Makes it so easier to see and store.
Tie rod turning for front end work
Yes
75 bucks for a Delta drill press!?! Fawk me runnin'. I've been trying to find a good deal on a press and here you go getting a freaking steal. Nice. Good on ya

You need a bigger shop lol That is one of your best hauls. Reorganize and keep the box set up .
I would love a bigger shop
I think the storm long reach digital calipers are for measuring brake drums during brake jobs
I think so too
I bought a used set of line wrenches new britan and Blackhawk and proto those are also really decent ones you might want to hold on to as well.
Well made line wrenches are very important to have
Tie rod end adjusting sleeve tool….the other screw driver handled tool was for removing brake shoe hold down springs
Great Tools!
That shop master delta benchtop drll press is a good deal my grandpa used one on his farm for drilling all kinds of materials for different jobs.for years.
It was too good to pass up
That snap 76 pc tap and die set is definitely worth the find!!
I kept it for my personal collection pf tap and die stuff
Probably about right. Don't look back. Enjoy them, use em and upgrade as you can as the needs arise.
Thanks
A lot of people swarm on deals but don’t wanna pay, they want it free or you pay them to take it. Good on you for paying reasonably.
Thanks
That black face guage and the rubber vacuum hose is probably a craftsman or actron/sunpro vacuum guage.i have one.
It is a craftsman
Hay would like to buy some of that
Check out our ebay store. NK Garage
Im glad to say i don't have to have a drill bit to put my spark plugs back in the heads lol!!
Yes!
Those strange snap on tools are for tie rods on old school turn buckle steering linkages.
Thanks

It’s definitely a great tool to have

For a justing front end parts
great tool to have!
I liked the craftsman socket rails the metal ones also they were very decent.
👍
You can adjust that drawer so it doesn't pop open on its own. I know way late to the party lol
Thanks
Great deal you can sell some of the higher end tools and get your money back
Yes
Plastic welder gm gbody and fbody cars that is how you used to try to piece the fiberglass nose cones back together because for years much like the mid 70's Chrysler b body charger se, dodge magnum, Chrysler Cordoba they were not so easy to acquire parts for and you couldn't afford to buy it from the dealership to fix the car.
Yes I kept it because I know i’ll be in need of it in the future
And I eventually want to find me a mac tools benchtop small service cabinet with drawers and the outside door that locks.
This one did not come with keys but it is a nice cabinet
The tools are just a bonus!
Yes they are!
Thats a huge box!
Sure is!

I wouldn't use most of them tools but I'm not a mechanic. Might be a great deal for you.
Was an excellent deal
Old box, draws dont slide nice. 500 bucks is a lot of money on basically a old Husky box
When I listed it the box sold in less than 24 hours for asking price.
Commenting on the video for the algorithm
Thanks!
Hey whats your ebay name?
NK Garage
I'm sure he was having sellers remorse and that's why he started taking tools out of the box. He remembers how much money he paid.
No worries it was an amazing deal
Found what I saw in that what was interested in
Thats awesome
Those snap on nut sert and mac tools pop riveter are not cheap for what they are..
Definitely not cheap tools
Hope you got some old vehicles because a lot of those tools are obsolete for modern vehicles. New guys don't know what to do with a timing light or a old out dated tool.
Most of the tools are still very useful and theres always someone looking for older equipment
This had the potential to be a great video, but before you start filming, you should familiarize yourself with what the tools are. We did a pretty good job for one of my first youtube videos

The drill press runs mint!
tie rod wrenchs
great tools to have!
You scored depending on how much u paid…. Now seems you’ve got something against FORD? lol
Nothing serious against ford, just like to joke around lol.
My air impact tools would not be worth anything to most people they are not that powerful but I got them in 1993 devilbiss air power tool company.
If they lasted all that time they are well made and worth it!
2000?😬
Oh yea it was a great deal!
Scored!
Ye
Aside from the annoying goofiness, I think the box and tools was a good deal.
great deal!
You stole it dude. You did good.
Thanks! Even paid full asking price!
The seller really stiffed you on this. Half the tools from the sets are missing. 😂 but I guess 2k for all of it was good. The box alone was worth it. But you got screwed over with the tools and other junk in the drawers.
The box was worth it and given that we resell individual pieces it made sense for us. Not a crazy deal but we did OK.
Well, There's a sucker born everyday. LMAO! That's a hell of a lot of money. But if you're happy with it that's all that matters.
Made all my money back selling the empty box alone . It sold in one day. Then made thousands on the rest and kept a lot too
Box alone is worth 2 G s
Definitely
May not want to offend people who could be potential buyers. Some people are very sensitive to the vehicle that they own and would have nothing to do with someone who is opinionated
Just a silly joke, no one should be offended
Box is worth the 2k
Yes it is
More than got your money worth
Yess
Not sure your going to make any money if that is why you bought all that stuff. Good luck chuck. LMAO 🤣😂.
Made a lot of money and kept a lot of great tools
i think you got ripped off. not much value at all in there
I sold the box empty in 3 days for the price i paid for everything so the tools were basically free
