    What drives me crazy, after watching all 22 of the games, is there have been so many times during games where there are really good play calls by OC and wide open WR’s all around the field but it requires a QB that THROWS ON TIME (back for hits throw the ball) and yet for some reason Brissett is unable to do so consistently. Like, we should have a decently functional offense just based on how many times players get open but whatever reason the ball is not thrown when it should and then pressure gets there and he’s flustered. Very odd.

However, it’s ALSO OBVIOUS, Jarod has no experience in dealing with confrontation as a leaders MUST HAVE TO establish DISCIPLINE in their organization. He took the draft away from Bill Parcells because of this and Bill Parcells walked out the door and went to the Jets. i do disagree, in that the pats were officially the favorites for this game. and watching the 1st half, the pats outplayed mia pretty significantly. mia made so many mistakes even when they did get into field goal range.
    yet still, it was only l 7-3 at halftime. phil's got other things to do i'm sure than read tweets during a game, but i remarked that the pats were much worse than i had thought, for this to be the case.
    mia kept their belief, and i believe they, not the pats (which tom, and by connection the pats organization, is trying to spin), were the gritty ones. as poorly as mia had played and as many opportunities they had thrown away (and by opportunities, i mean field goals; it's not like they were really getting into the red zone), they were always 1 play away from winning the gm. and they had belief in their coach that he could get that for them if they kept it there. mcdaniel, i thought, won this gm. mia was able to move the ball just well enough.
    i agree with the sentiment many have that this is worst loss for the pats, at least for me since mac got drafted. i've not seen the pats lose a gm where the opponent did not play well, made so many mistakes, and the pats were as talented all things considered. although clearly tom, and the pats organization, is standing by brissett, i feel alot of this is on brissett; i'd say he's the biggest reason pats lost today. there were things outside his control. but there were things very much in his control. it didn't take much to win this gm, and he didn't give it.

I mean if he has a Ray Lewis or Shannon Sharpe player oh yes, you handle the keys to them because they will police the teammates, but he doesnt have that type of players so he has to coach even de details

      And Polk's heel was clearly out of bounds. Do you understand that the heel is part of the foot? That's why he was out of bounds. It is very simple even if some stupid people explain it in a way that seems more complex. That's just because they aren't too bright.

      @chaseross2731 วันที่ผ่านมา

      While I agree that shouldn’t have been ruled a catch, I have a problem with all these toe drag catches that are called good catches. In almost all those examples, the toes get in, a small drag happens, and the rest of the foot and body go out of bounds. The rule and the implementation of the rule needs to be looked at.

    • @BaronVonMunch
      @BaronVonMunch วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@chaseross2731 No, you just have some mental block with this simple idea. You are overcomplicating it. Polk put his heel down which is part of the foot. The entire foot must be inbounds and his heel clearly wasn't. It is perfectly ok for a receiver to just put his toe down and then pick it back up. That would be a td. There is no need to drag the toe. If you do drag the toe and it drags out of bounds then that ends the play and it would still be a td. The heel never touched and that is why that is ok. Polk made the mistake of putting his heel down out of bounds which has always been a no-no. Nothing new and has happened a million times. Not rocket science.

    • @chaseross2731
      @chaseross2731 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@BaronVonMunch You just contradicted yourself. To quote you: "The entire foot must be inbounds and his heel clearly wasn't."
      Then you go on to say its ok for just the toe to be in. So maybe we are at the level of rocket science.
      My point has been that its stupid that a receiver can put two big toes inbounds and barely catch it while dragging this rest of his feet/body out of bounds and have it be a catch, but what Polk did isn't.
      It happened a million times? Great. I don't care if it happened a billion times, it doesn't make it any more logical of a rule.

    • @BaronVonMunch
      @BaronVonMunch วันที่ผ่านมา

      Kraft being ultra-cheap is the biggest problem and Maye can't fix that. Washington and Denver have real talented experienced people running the show with their rookie qbs. The Pats have nothing.
      Now Mac Jones completely sucked in every way, physically, mentally. I despise him even as a human being. Drake Maye is light years better in every way. Still, they need to get some real coaching in here along with a real gm.

  • @Gump-tion
    @Gump-tion 2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    What makes that "toe tap" no TD call is this: On sideline plays the receiver is running "FORWARD" so if the toe taps, there's no way (by the laws of physics) for the back of the foot to then touch the ground. But in this case the receiver is moving "BACKWARDS" therefore when the toe taps, (by the law of physics again) it is possible for the back of the foot to touch as well and in this case the toe tap inbounds but the back foot landed out of bounds. Thats the difference.

    • @BaronVonMunch
      @BaronVonMunch วันที่ผ่านมา

      Why are you making this seem so complicated? The rule is very simple.
      The receiver must have 2 feet fully inbounds. Whatever part of the foot touches the ground must be fully in. It can just be a toe or it can be the entire foot, that doesn't matter, but whatever part hits the ground, 100% of it must be inbounds. If even one slight part is out of bounds then the receiver is out of bounds and no catch. That's why you see many receivers just tap their toe and then raise it thus completing the successful tap. If Polk had raised his toe after touching the ground it would have been a touchdown. Instead, he put the heel down out of bounds thus negating the catch. Been this way forever.

      As a Pats fan that's been around, this is to be expected. 2 decades of a Belichick/Brady dynasty is absurdly rare, as soon as they were gone, many of us knew it was over. You don't just create that again. Newbie Pats fans are clueless and they complain endlessly, they don't seem to understand why it is hard to be a dynasty. They're horribly ignorant. I remember when the Dolphins with Shula were great, and then it was gone and never came came. I feel very lucky to have witnessed what I saw and never would have guessed something that amazing would happen. I had a little hope that Belichick could get another qb in and maybe compete again, but Kraft messed it up with wanting Mac Jones and then firing Bill. It is now over and I can laugh at the current clown show they are and at the newer fans that have no clue what is going on. As long as Kraft messes things up, they have no chance. Drake Maye looks talented and I would love a good coach to be hired here, but I don't know if Kraft will be willing to spend. Until then, I will just laugh at the Krafts and anyone that believes in them.

      @BaronVonMunch I've been laughing at Steven Ross for years. I've been a Dolphins fan since 2002, and it's been a rough road. Several 6-8 win season, December collapses, being the only team not to win a playoff game since ths realignment in 2002, and no stability at QB are what continue to define this franchise. But hey, at least the Dolphins always beat the Patriots in Miami, and the trend goes back to when they started playing each other in 1966.
      I do admire Tom Brady, though. I wish someone would make a movie about the 2001 Patriots because it truly is an all-time sports story.
