How can you not love this guy, multiple MVP’s and rich beyond anyone’s wildest dreams, and he is so humble and would rather talk about his teammates than himself
He doesn't have his own signature shoe though he just had his own signature logo on an already existing shoe. Signature shoe means he designed it and it's sold in stores as his model.
We are so incredibly blessed to have this man playing for our Denver Nuggets. I know it’s been said many times before, but please don’t take this man and his time here w the Nuggets for granted. This is the basketball version of John Elway’s time as a player w our Broncos. Legendary stuff.

@@boise2Talay7886 No kidding! Mac and Makar! The generational talent we have in Denver sports right now is phenomenal! And just think, if The Rockies management and ownership wasn’t so inept, Nolan Arenado could be here as well!

Love Jokic like everybody here. Still, he looked like he was going through a root canal at all star weekend as usual. Zero social media presence. If he wants a shoe contract sadly MVP's aren't enough. He began as a younger guy who was playful. I thought he was going to play the system eventually with that persona but he seems far more stoic now. He doesn't project that he enjoys what he's doing which is the key to wider public acceptance. The stoical seriousness wins over MVP voters who appreciate his immense greatness but gets him picked last in the all star game because everyone understands he doesn't want to be there. Thus no shoe contracts.
You're right I don't think he actually wants to be here, he would probably prefer to spend this time with his family. And the all star game has really been turning into a clown game in the last 15+ years. I remember the last interesting game was in 2003, the last MJ game. And in terms of a shoe contract he doesn't seem to want it. He clearly doesn't need the money, he already has more money than he could spend in 3 lifetimes. And he likes his privacy, doesn't like to be on the social media or acting a fool like many other players do to generate hype. Why would he make his life worse by doing bs he doesn't like, to get the thing he does not want?
@@delboy5258 Agree 100%. But his intensely private approach here puts people off. One of the keys in getting along in a new culture is to respect the language. He's refuses to do that. People get insulted when a person refuses to acknowledge the culture paying them and bestowing awards on them.
