Even Prighozian (sp?) said there were not any Nazis in Ukraine's government. That was all a lie. Try watching any news, anywhere in the world, that isn't funded by the Kremlin. Strange how they ALL say the same thing: "NO Nazis, NO civilian murder."
      If what you say were true, then we should expect the Ukranian citizens to welcome Russia as liberators, and yet, instead, they have fiercely resisted them, with the help of the rest of the world. If you look at Ukraine’s movements from their initial incursion into Kursk, you will notice 2 things. They continue to secure more territory. They destroyed all the bridges into Kursk, cutting off supplies and making it harder to reinforce the area. Part of this is to cut supplies to front line troops. The second part is Ukraine is moving slowly south. They created a buffer zone for their southward push. They are surrounding the Russian troops. This is a classic pincer movement. This wasn’t a gamble, it was strategic competence. They used the intelligence they received and are now moving to shape the war on their terms. Russia has relied on brute force pressure and believed Russia was invulnerable to invasion because they were taking land through continuous pressure. Ukraine exploited the fact that Putin has no strategic ability, who thinks 2 dimensionally and surrounded himself with yes men. He has removed or eliminated anyone who would have seen this coming.

      @alvyca 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +71

      @@dananorth895 based on their current movements, they are going after the rail lines that supply Russian troops in Ukraine. This is due to Russia’s over reliance on railways to transport supplies. They have set strategic goals and contingencies based on Russia’s response. Ukraine troop movements show they are attacking a target, securing their gains, then moving to the next target. If they continue south, they will eventually reach Belgorod. This will cutoff supplies to Units attacking Karkiv.

    There is almost zero stretching of the front lines for Ukraine. Measure the section of the former border compared to the outline of the current front line and it is basically the same. What has changed is that Ukraine has moved the front line forward to more defensible terrain in an area the Russians politically must attack. When the defender gets to choose the terrain it acts as a force multiplier. When (if) the Ukrainians fall back to the defenses they are currently constructing they will extract a huge price in blood if Russia pushes the attack.

    I cannot really rate the military aspects of the operation. But on a diplomatic level, it totally refuted all the pessimists. Both those that claimed that defeat was inevitable as well as those that claimed that Putin's threat of nuclear warfare was legitimate.
    Now it is absolutely clear that Ukraine can win this war if only provided with the tools to do so. If this is Russia's response to an invasion there is nothing to fear in terms of supporting Ukraine uninhibited to reclaim their own territory.

The USA is sitting on massive amounts of mothballed equipment, but it's still just sitting there. This offensive did not meaningfully extend Ukraine's front lines. They always had to have significant forces on the border, otherwise Putins forces would have simply walked in without knocking. Knowing this, Putins army deliberately understaffed their side of the line, knowing that Ukraine couldn't afford to do the same. This allowed Russia to allocate far more of their forces to Donetsk than they should have. The U.S. position against using American weapons in Russian territory was short-sighted, arrogant and ignorant to say the least. I'ts long since past time that the western world ships meaningful amounts of fire-power to Ukraine, take the leash off Zelinskyy and sit back to watch the fireworks. If Putin is going to resort to nuclear weapons, he would have eventually reached that point anyway, and at least it will firmly establish that the world will not be held hostage to some asshole with a big gun and an attitude problem. This would go a long way toward keeping the next would-be Napoleon in his place.

    Somehow, Putin reminds me of Eric Cartman from South Park.
    Total self-overestimation, no awareness of rules, and when things go to shit in the end, it’s always someone else’s fault.

    The war in Russia is going to be significantly different because -
    A. Russia won't trench their own country
    B. Russia won't mine their own country
    Doing so would be an admission of defeat.
    I'm going to suspect that we are about to see a far more mobile war in Russia and it's going to be very, very interesting.

I asked if he can find her for me you found her and she asked about me. He told her that I want to find her. Thank God she’s okay. She’s been trained as a sniper now he told me that she catches onfast

    Goals of Kursk incursion: 1) Diversion of Russian troops from Ukrainian frontline, because of lack of contract-soldiers and conscripts. 2) Thousands of Russian POWs for the prisoner exchange fund. 3) Constant weakening of Putin's red lines. 4) To force an accelerated depletion, culmination of Russian military. 5) To force Putin to mobilize heavily EOY, that may cause his domestic downfall. 6) In general, to weaken Putin politically, forcing him to abandon war. 7) To trade the Russian territory for Russian-held Ukrainian territory in a future peace-negotiation. 8) The impressive incursion will accelerate military aid from NATO and other allies.

      - Damage supply lines
      - force Russia to fight on Ukraine's terms. In Kursk Ukraine sits in fortified trenches where Russia has to force them out. The exact opposite of what Ukraine faces in Ukrainian front lines
