Am the only one that thinks that the presentation (0:40) is just so reminiscent and nostalgic of megaman, in particular I immediately thought of megaman ZX
From what I have seen from your review and another review I watched earlier, I could totally see more levels being a huge boon. One of the hardest parts to get down in a platformer is the game feel and moveset. It seems like they have that in spades. So some extra levels could be a great way to build on what's already a great game.
Your fears about potentially having to give the game a bad review remind me of the hardest review I've done so far: Halcyon Days. It's a passion project inspired by one of my favorite games, and there actually is some good stuff in there... But there's also some major bugs which make it broken to the point that I couldn't recommend it to anyone. And I normally avoid talking about my thoughts too much on a game before I review it, but I'm in the opposite boat: Axel plays perfectly to my playstyle whereas Hazel was a lot harder for me to get control of.
This game looks so fun and has a nice art style but I don't understand why the playable characters' colors look nothing like how they look on the cover?!
Alright cutie pie, in the first 10 seconds… indie devs have been the cornerstone of gaming as a whole since its inception. Or did you think corporations just pump these out on a whim
Cody Bunny could be an awesome game ... but why the NES graphics ? I would play more 2d games if they was with high detailed 2d graphics. The first games that I have played was on the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis, I would say that I have played at least 7000 hours back in the days on these old consoles. It could be that others got nostagic feelings, but I don't understand the retro charm.
apart from it being a preference, theres also budget to consider code bunny is a lot less funded than some other indie games with more detailed graphics like nine sols or dead cells And even those games had to cut a few corners with the animation
@@be7256 Agree, it's a preference thing ... but I see too many indie games with pixel or voxel graphics, it seems often the creators could make something better but they prefer the old retro look.
Im sure its great, but i am absolutely done with pixel art indie games with that overdone double jumping, crescent sword slashes that i've seen countless times in the scene. They all blend together into an amorphous mush.
Yeah, this game is really awesome. The fluidity of the gameplay is so fun and the bosses are indeed elite! Nice vid.
Well said, and thank you!
It would be amazing on Switch, looks perfect for handheld play
This game looks amazing and so cute! Thanks for introducing all of us to it!
Thank you for watching!
Oh damn it's an Inti Creates feeling! I can't imagine a dev of this not being inspired by that studio's works.
Ah yes, another indie game and bunny enjoyer nice!
Indie games always were the pillar of gaming except for a very short time in the early to mid 00's.
Am the only one that thinks that the presentation (0:40) is just so reminiscent and nostalgic of megaman, in particular I immediately thought of megaman ZX
I know the devs are huge megaman fans, so it probably is a deliberate tribute!
Looks heavily inspired by Azure Striker Gunvolt, which was in turn heavily inspired by Mega Man Zero.
@@cowgba That studio was Inti Creates, and they worked on both. And they're still making unique games! Check em out, anyone.
Speed runs of this game are going to be crazy
It will make a fantastic speed game

thanks for making me aware of this game, looks awesome! :)
It is!
I'll be watching the stream. Nice review!
Looks fun, good review!

I totally feel you on that. And yeah I think that speaks to the good game design that each character will appeal to different people
Hmm, this might be one to check out. Mighty fine review
Thanks! It’s absolutely worth your time, I had a blast with it

This is a bizarre non sequitur that intentionally misunderstands what I said in the video, but I’m glad you think I’m cute ;)
I'd love to see a co-op spin off or dlc ❤
Bunnies are cute :3
Buying because of this video

There is no device for this program.
What if i don't like these types of games? Do i still need to play?
hm
Well, the title says you have to, so...

i personally think its really pretty
and im only 18, not old enough for the NES nostalgia to kick in
its really just a preference thing

Too linear too. Usually an ok story. Needs more personality beyond the hack and slash gameplay
Shit opnion
much the same could be said for GoAnimate
@wigwumpwormwood l o l what does that have to do with anything?
