Personally I think that it’s good they’re gonna tone down the prequel stuff after this. The prequel content is way more prevalent than either of the other two eras. There needs to be a balance, and I would prefer if they tried to keep this game as a completely Star Wars game and not just a prequel based game with the occasional other eras.

But Im a GCW fan myself so its starting to get really annoying that we havnt seen any GCW stuff. Where is Scarif, Sullust, Jakku, or Bespin? Those maps were great in the first game. And we dont have anything like Capital Assault (Jakku would be perfect for that)
I just wish they would add content in alternating phases. Clone>GCW>Sequel. Instead we got Sequel>Clone>Clone>Clone>Sequel

From being a cash grabbing piece of shit with no real attraction to having updates that bring fans what they love and trying its best to get pat the micro transaction feud. The game is actually fun compared to the beginning.

ALEJAMBICHO unfortunately it’s not, it’s just 1 mode and 5 maps, with only 2 factions. But it’s a start, hopefully they’ll add more to it! Co-op mode is more fun though

Well I mean FO76 is at least Hancock in terms of its recovering. Doesn’t look that good on the outside, is dressed up, has a drug problem, but can be loyal and shows signs of improvement.

Rose Supreme Rarely do you see developers or companies acknowledge their mistakes and make it right by the people. That’s why I think they should still sell the game at least over $30 so that they can’t use micro transactions as an excuse but still continuously make money from people just picking up the game. After all, to satisfy fans with a GOOD game is what all of this should be for anyway. I also think they picked the wrong time to try that shit because while everyone else was doing it, the controversy of micro transactions started to become mainstream that year too.

Was doubtful about buying the game, bought it and I’m having a blast!
Panwow actually give it a chance. All the dlc is free. They took time to listen to consumers and realized they messed up and have went and fixed it. I don’t want it to be exactly like the original. Yes it was fun but I don’t pay for exact same game just because they updated the graphics. This is entirely on its own merit and separate and I love that. I’m glad they were able to completely change the game and make it better with updates. Overall, the added changes are good. The similarities to the old games are good. But with the new graphics and mechanics it’s even better. I would not what the exact same game as the old battlefronts even if they were fun. I would get bored real quick just like we all did as kids. Combat was simple and honestly not what we remember

Thank you sooo much for sticking with the game. Graphics wise, battlefront was amazing. Now that the core mechanics are fixed (lightsaber combat, new heroes, new maps, new game mode, no micro transactions, hell I even noticed brighter and more noticeable blaster bolts), I think I speak for a lot of us that we are great full! Reinstalling now
Edit: now just add magma guards and Jedi temple guards and it’ll be perfect :)

Developers, ex: DICE, care about making a game that players will enjoy and be a great game.
What we need is to push for more developer control not publisher control.
Battlefront 2 is alive thanks to DICE who are working hard to make the game that everyone wanted. It's DICE who needs all the thanks and respect they deserve. Don't mistake EA as the developers. They are suits and nothing more.

I finally got to play this update today. I really liked it. The Co Op mode was more fun than i thought i would be. I was playing with 3 random players on Naboo and it was awesome.
I've played since launch and stuck through despite the rough start! Games just getting better and better, can't wait to try out the new map!

I know eventually HvV & GA and probably all eras and content will be in instant action, just disappointing they didn’t pick GA instead of CS for instant action launch.

Maybe when they add the prequel Jedi council members. Also, they literally had the easiest task in making this game. All they had to do was copy and paste the OG battlefront 2 and add maps, characters, and modes. That's it. And they couldn't even do that.

Co-op is without a doubt the best thing added to this game since launch. Having the ability to play against AI with other players in a fun mode, and make progression, is phenomenal. Please add more maps in the future, and maybe add more modes or elements to it instead of just straight up capturing command posts. I was very disappointed that this game was essentially just another causal multiplayer focused shooter with a Star Wars coat of paint. It’s nice that this update is finally offline focussed, wish it was like this way during launch.
Completely agree, my friend and I played for like 5 hours straight for the first time since launch. It was SO much fun and we actually felt like we were getting somewhere.

Diaper Paralysis definitely agree, I’m a big fan of offline play and accessibility, especially in games like this where I don’t enjoy the casually focussed multiplayer. Plus it’s battlefront after all, it really should have a focus on offline play

You know, EA, wanting their games to be rushed out with a ton of microtransactions for a quick buck, Dice couldn't do anything about it, EA had full control over the game but now that Disney fucked EA about because of the Microtransactions, EA simply left the game to do whatever they wanted and now we are getting the ACTUAL content we we're supposed to get and deserved since from launch.

The1Old1Guest old Yeppp pretty much. Either way this game is probably the funnest I’ve ever played and brings me back to when I was on the PS2 playing BF2. They have done very well and made an amazing comeback.
