- It's a new year at the cabin. In this video I have break out the Husqvarna and to do some tree cleanup from the recent storm. But before that we're going to have a Northwoods camp breakfast special. Happy 2023!
Recipe for the Northwoods camp breakfast special. Enjoy!
1 lb. sausage meat.
2 potatoes.
1 block of marbled cheese.
2 Eggs.
1/4 cup flour.
Parmesan cheese.
Parsley.
Stir up well.
Add to cast iron pan with lots of oil.
Cook ~4 minutes each side until golden brown.

I love your channel. Rotten trees are a great reason to cook up an amazing meal. I am thinking a good smattering of Worcestershire sauce in the raw mix. Perhaps barbecue sauce on the side. And probably the best, some gravy! The early settlers would make the road a corduroy road followed by a macadamia road. But it is your road so no matter. The win in this video is no mosquitoes and no flies! So this video is a big win. Hope Trudeau didn't take away your guns. Happy 2023! Hope you have an outstanding year with many more videos to come! Yes those balsam firs are short lived often and break off easily when healthy, in cold hard winds. Never put your tree Stand in a Fir 🌲 Never! If only to Save your Tree Stand from destruction. I know well.

Yep, Fir trees are the worst. I'm always having one or two get knocked over every year because of the winds.
Interestingly, that polar vortex we experienced last week knocked over a Northern White Cedar. No Firs were knocked over. Weird.

This winter has been really strange so far. High winds, rain, snow, then back to rain and warm temperatures again. I remember years when we had 3-4 feet of now on the ground in early January. But like you have said in the past, the only thing that is predictable about Northern Maine winters, is that they are unpredictable!

Great seeing you back at the cabin Dale. Sorry your weather is so unseasonably warm. We have been locked in the deep freeze up here for the last almost 3 weeks straight. No temps above -20 for 2 weeks in a row and lows in the -30s. I hope thing cool down there for you so the ground freezes back up. It is a nasty mess when we get these crazy warm spells.
