For anyone wondering, bought with hall effect, got it. Pc gamer, not used to controllers. Medium sized hands. Left stick rotation error, 3.7, right, 5.1. Back buttons in perfect spots, also feel rather amazing. Maybe not the tightest grip, bus literally does not impact anything. 6 customizable set ups. Size, controller as a whole for me MAY be a tad too big, but those back buttons make it perfect. It's for sure expensive, very much so, not worth the price, BUT for the price - the best controller on the market.
I just got mine and my god...this thing is amazing. Everything works flawlessly. Back buttons are crispy instead of mushy like some ive used in the past. My sticks was spot on out of the box as well.
I have phantom and flydigi apex 4. I use them both, phantom for FC and flydigi for fps(BO6, CS2). I couldn't get used to the xbox style when playing FC because I've been playing FIFA using ps controllers for years so I use the phatom for that. But I find flydigi superior in every aspect. It has the fastest input response I've ever experienced and extremely consistent. The HE stick controllers are at a whole different level in reliability and engineering and they have tunable tension. You feel so at ease using it and makes you forget you are holding a controller.
Why don't these companies make the sticks with a metal shaft sleeve? I have one from some no-name company, Big Big Won, the sticks are removable and the shaft is metal sleeved. it shouldn't wear out and start grinding against the rings like all the plastic ones eventually do.
Hi, How does this controller stand against the edge. Could anyone explain in a bit detail. I'm looking for a controller that works on pc and ps5 and preferably have adaptive triggers as well as hair triggers for fps. So far these are the 2 that I am thinking. Thanks in advance.
@yosemite1142 Thanks. I went with the dualsense edge controller at the end. So far I'm loving it. I have grown so accustomed to those trigger stops and back buttons for BO6 that I can't use the normal dualsense now. Even though it's been just a month lol.
Before the little rant - relatively to what the market has now, this controller is worth it, I've bought it and I am waiting for it to be delivered. You can buy a cheap car that will last and you'll be able to go from point A to point B and it's perfectly normal choice, or you can spend more and have anything on top of it like comfort, feel and etc., but you pay exponentialy more for it. Every controller beyond 100$ range is overpriced and people from poorer regions are priced out, so you do what you can. There are a lot cheaper variants to get a hall effect controller or just a long lasting controller for way cheaper like Logitech that costs 20 bucks, but you do what you can. Flydigi apex 4, qrd n5 and etc. has hall effect, but I personally dislike Xbox type controllers. I want to be immersed in the game so I want to have adaptive triggers, heptic feedback, also would love to have back buttons and just have a better feel while I am gaming. I really appreciate symmetrical build of PS controlles and especially ps5 ones, and to have a high quality, high longevity, not only very unprobably to disfunction but also fixable by yourself via it's program, is the best controller on the market. You pay premium, for a truly premium product. If Flydigi apex 4 had ps5 build, I would have bought it, but.. it is what it is.
@@Alpheus_09C We wouldn't need 3rd party if Sony stopped being greedy. Why are they making better controllers than the actual 1st party manufacturers.
I bought one and I'm not wealthy. Waiting for it right now. I rather buy one of these and have it for years than buy several dualsense controllers in the same lifespan.
@@MS-dg7fmyes it’s ha\ everything a ps5 controller has, it’s has the hardware of the ps5 controller with better stuff so how would gyro not be on it when it has adaptive triggers
It's an actual PS5 controller so it has all those features and more. They bought the PS5 controllers and modified them. Basically doing what Sony should've done in the first place.
I got the Hall Effect version of this controller about a month and a half ago. It is really nice, but I I have wiggle in the thumbstick caps. It's like they don't fit perfectly. It's kind of annoying. Some of the thumbstick caps are worse than others in terms of how much wiggle I get the. It does not appear to affect my gaming at all, it's just a annoying when you push the stick back or forward and you get extra movement. Overall I really like the controller though. I wish we could overclock it.
If stick drift is fixed its worth it even for the most casual noob it seems like stick drift is more common than ever with ps5 controllers and each costs 70 if it is that good as u reviewers say Im sure it’s worth a buy

Hex gaming is much better FLYDIGI 4, FLYDIGI is cheap controller and quality is normal 🥱

No mouse click face buttons???

the dualsense edge has the same trigger stop system but the triggers don't quite turn into mouse clicks. There's still a bit of travel.

Agreed, I'm also waiting on mine. The only downside of buying one is you can't get it the next day!
When I play cod I play tact flipped. Are the R1 and L1 instant triggers too?
Nah unfortunately I use to rock tactical flip too i had to change 😢 ngl took me some time to get use to my brain wants to shoot with R1 😅
@jesu_ss4977 Thank you, that sucks will just use something else lol. Love flipped too much
Can I get with tactile buttons?
Pretty cool, but for $260? I’ll pass. Definitely for the wealthy.
I wonder if we're ever going to get a cheaper third party dualsense
Wealthy or content creators
It’s 230 lol only 26@
If you want extra shit

This the best 1# controller in the world right now ❤
so i've had youtubers hype this controller several times now... but i cant seem to find the single most important info, does it have gyro?
The base is the same as dualsense 2, so it must have it.

It is sad this controller is not even 1000hz polling rate
Want a hex so bad but these guys don’t ship to Europe !
