Now that put some dings into the sheet metal of your vehicle in a hurry. I'd be finding a better spot to pull off a major hiway than sitting on the berm. All it takes is 1 driver to panic when this starts to really cause a pileup!

I experienced something similar to these conditions on June 9th driving up the M74 Motorway near Lockerbie, Scotland. I myself and quiet a lot of other vehicles had to pull over because of poor visibility
umm, yawn? I've been in 10-12 hailstorms like that myself. That is NOT baseball size, unless its Smurfs playing baseball. . Baseball size will take out a sloped windshield.
I learned the hard way when I was chasing a few years ago when I accelerated, it caused my truck a lot of damage. Its better to pull over when hail is that big.

I lived in Chester Nebraska as a kid for a little while. I've been to Salina a few times. I remember schilling Rd or something like that.
When you see truckers pulling over, pull over .. good chance they know more about what is coming or just ahead than you.
