It’s a beautiful unit!! The expansion capacity is what makes this equipment so amazing. That they improved the recharge time on AC makes this much more attractive. I invested in a few smaller ecoflow power stations, primarily due to the fast recharge and they are easy for me to use and understand. Being able to run them inside to keep whatever you want running over night is pretty fantastic. The larger capacity is great for longer run times, but they take a long time to recharge on solar. I think Bluetti handles more solar input than ecoflow so your solar input is more efficient. While these are an investment, so is the food they are protecting in terms of running fridge and freezers. I started using mine to run different things around the house to remove stuff from the grid to reduce the electric bill. In the course of using my power stations I have learned a lot about how they work and what the capabilities really are. It’s been a good learning experience to see what life would really look like having to run on backup power for any extended time frame. I’ve had a couple outages this year and the power stations were amazing to use. It’s expensive but we live in a storm zone and I’m keeping more food on hand than I usually would. I do have a gas generator as well but I love these solar generators.
Adding two B230 battery units will get you to 6144 Wh total. To get the full 8192 Wh that you stated, you need to add two B300 units (3072 Wh each) instead of the B230 units. Just a clarification.
I just received the Jackery 2000. Combined with a NUwave induction hot plate I can cook in power outages without using fuel. Induction hot plates with appropriate pots and pans are pretty fantastic.
Definitely a good investment. Great video Eric Tip: If you built a isolated box (open bottom) on top of your freezer powered by the Bluetti, it will become cold inside like a refrigerator.
I have this unit. When car camping I keep it charged with an OfF Grid TREK solar "blanket" cable locked to the roof rack. It runs my ICECO 20 liter cooler/freezer all day and recharges the two 52V batteries of my electric mountain bike.
For the price of one of these you can buy the top of the line Honda generator that sips gas and is whisper quite . Also when it comes to customer service you can always buy parts at your Honda dealer . And as far as longevity you can give it to your grand kids after you die . Ask any small engine mechanic they will always say Hondas are the best
I wish it had WiFi, I have AC200MAX + two B230 battery's 1200 watt panel Primary & 600 watts panels feeding D050s also install transfer switch it runs frig, freezer, washer & dryer (gas) Furnas TV modem, router and various lights. I also have regular solar, it's lowered true up $800 for the year and my last PG&E bill was $35. This thing works great. My neighbors PG&E bill was $600 for the month of July California heat wave. I should of bought the B300 battery's more is better, I do have to use supplemental charging on high usage times two 500 watt chargers that are directly plugged into B230 battery's 7:30 Pm to 11:30 PM. Great Video thanks
There is one feature that is suboptimal. it is not possible to run a freezer or fridge on it to just safeguard from blackouts. Because it will constantly discharge and recharge and that reduces the battery lifetime, at least somewhat.
It would be nice to get a passthrough with auto switching when commercial power is cut. I think the use cases like that are going to be few and far between
Get a smaller fridge for emergency use only. During SHTF you won't have as much to keep cold as we do now. In fact we would be lucky to have milk, meat or vegetables in any quantity. 🙄
that same freezer 75 watts when running has been running from 9;15am to 3:15 pm today and battery ran from 100 to now at 85 percent.. and the longevity test continues...how long will it run that freezer.. ..lol im gunna find pout myself
I think it’s funny when people use coffee machines as a demonstration. You can purchase a jet boil and some instant coffee for sub $200.00 I love this channel though. I’m planning on purchasing a Bluetti in the near future.
Are you kidding me? $5 off of an $1800 piece of equipment without solar panels? There may be others, but Poplar Preparedness and southernprepper1 just did reviews also. Some of the audience said they had poor customer service. Having said that, I did like your presentation.
I have been searching on how to connect the solar panels to each other and to the blue Eddie with proper instructions I know it’s black to red but the part that goes to the bluetti , I believe is red to red and black to black I can’t be sure can you enlighten me on that perhaps give a demonstration of hooking up multiple solar panels that are designed for bluetti
Everyone reviews and talks about it and how it can be charged but no one actually really shows you how to hook up the panels that you order with it. The cables I mean
When you gave the discount code you talk so fast I couldn’t understand what it was I listened 3 times and couldn’t pick up what you said so it might helpful to put the actual discount code in the description itself
I have one. They are great units but no where near worth the asking price. The flaws are number 1, the battery draw, you'll lose a lot just having the inverter on. 2 nd flaw. What's the point of having a ac charger that doesn't charge at the maximum charge rate. 500 Watts is a joke.
If you’re buying one of these Bluetti units you better start prepping for how to repair it if it fails out of warranty. Mine just died four months out of warranty and I’ve been trying for a month to find out how to get it fixed. After a dozen useless email exchanges with them all I’ve ever gotten was it’s out of warranty we can’t help you. Now I’m totally unprepared and out a thousand dollars.
Eric, people can barely feed themselves or put gas in their cars right now, let alone buy a generator that cost a bundle. I imagine you get to keep that generator for doing this video and I truly am happy for you and the family. I’ve noticed this with other TH-cam influencers as well. Once they start making money, they get new products and start reviewing them. It just makes me sad for those of us that aren’t able to afford such things.
I like your videos but the majority of people cannot afford these high end solar generators Unless you get into debt that is if you even have credit. Time is short so saving up to get one is not Feasible. You should review a less expensive one at the same time. Keep in mind how your viewers feel when watching this knowing they can never get it.

I just picked up a refurbished AC200 Max from the Bluetti website. I saved $500. They are having a good sale right now for 2024!
Definitely a good investment. Great video Eric

We would need more power. Our main concern is the well water pump &/or air conditioning here in SW Arizona.

What do you do when the gas runs out

We all know that but these are for the preparedness people who in case of a global emergency gas and propane won't be available

It has lifepo battery. Meaning full charge and discharge every day for 10 years and still having 80% original capacity after.
I believe the newer models have pass through mode, the smaller units do as well.
