Natural curve.
L shaped line. Gets rid of the two patches next to his mustache
I liked the first shape he did.
The curve was perfect, not too high and not too low.
Both styles are interesting Jack! I can certainly understand the need to mix styles up. I prefer a high natural curve for myself. I think that space you had between your mustache and your initial high naturally curved cheek line added some individual character to your beard.

I can't think of anything more annoying than having a beard shape that I could not maintain at home, I'd struggle to shave in the nearly 90 degree cut every few days
@@jgnzm the 90 degree is far easier to shape in a sharp line than to maintain the more natural rounded line sharp. Have you ever had a beard?

@@jgnzm then i guess your struggle is mostly due to the mirror you use. Tried using a 3 part mirror with the angular side pieces. That is my secret for self trimming /shaving^^
I prefer the "before" look, just a little bit cleaned-up. "After" looks unnaturally sharp

Great look to try out. Looks a bit tidier... I personally prefer the before as it seems similar enough to not warrant the extra maintenance. Plus, those things you call gaps are probably the most interesting and unique thing about your beard.
