A lot of disgusting hurtful comments really uncalled for. It doesn't matter on how an individual look or what they are wearing whether it is Shizuka presenting or Leina or Stephanie for that matter. It is the content . You are doing a fantastic job Stephanie keep it up. Thank you Japan by Food for another wonderful episode. 👍👍👍
@@JapanbyFood Stephanie is adorable. You can see the kindness and sincerity in her as she approaches Japanese people to engage with her, even though she knows her Japanese skills are limited. She's a joy to watch. Rock on!
We're really enjoying this new addition to the JBF team, Stephanies got great energy and makes Japan appear more accessible to non Japanese speakers. Neither of us can figure out how she doesn't poke her eye out with those nails though 😅 Looking forward to the next video. Osaka is such a fun place. We cant wait to visit it again.
Let miserable people be miserable. Y'all keep putting out good content about my favorite culture in the world. Love Steph's accent and energy. Shes also a bit more relatable, for me, because i cant speak Japanese so i imagine going through some of the same struggles when i visit Japan.
Stephanie is perfect for this role in every aspect outside of the language barrier when interacting with possible restaurant owners/chefs and street content such as this video~ but I'm sure she is hard at work studying to become more fluent so please keep on cheering her on. also wouldn't be a bad idea to do a tag team video with Shizuka so the language barrier isn't as steep and the viewers can get both perspectives from the respective hosts!
There's more comments about mean comments than actual mean comments, dont give them attention. Stephanie is a natural, perfect for this job, negativity from few random weirdos will pass and be forgotten.
Thank you for another great video! Stephanie seems more comfortable each time she films. Great job Stephanie! It amazes me how much you all eat in a day. I'm not sure if it is camera magic and it is over multiple days but yeah, you all can eat lol!! So glad to have discovered this channel! I am planning to come to Japan next year when the Dogers play the Cubs in March so hopefully I can run into some of the Japan by Food places you all have visited. I think ya'll did a stadium vlog but if not, you all should definitely do one so I can get some advice on what to do and what to eat when I am there. Thanks again and can't wait for the next video!!! Bye!!!
Love this channel and all the hosts so much. I am visiting Japan soon and your videos are invaluable. Cannot wait to eat my way across Japan! Thank you for all your hard work producing great content like this.
You are doing an amazing job Stephanie. As an expat kiwi, living in Korea, it is so great to see someone like you representing all Australasians. And the nails are killer yo!
Awesome episode thank you so much! We went to Mizuno in 2013 on our first trip to Japan, it was so amazing and so glad to see it is still going strong!
I keep seeing people cheering her on saying about there being some mean things. Where are the mean comments? LOL She's really cute though, happy to stumble upon this video as I'm heading over there on March
Love to see Stephanie looking more and more comfortable after each video! And i agree with the Takoyaki decision! Had some last year in Osaka and definitely sooo delicious!
I think Stephanie is doing a great job. That said... i think Shizuka's audio editor is doing something different. Hey Japan ByFood editors, hook your girl Stephanie up with a better microphone. Really like her Energy. Lets see a combo video with both Shizuka Anderson and Stephanie!
👋👋👋Hello Stephanie San😊 Greetings from Singaporean first time travelling to Japan🎉 Can you advice which part of Japan is best to go this November 2024 for 8 nights? Also less crowded, less rain and nice autumn scenery🙏
Nice video, and especially useful for cheap eats in Osaka! I am looking forward to trying some retro places in Osaka, but also the required takoyaki, kushikatsu, and yakisoba. 😆
I agree, although not necessarily just English-speaking friendly but places that are tourist/foreigner friendly. I particularly like retro places such as kissaten but I've read so many reviews of places that don't seem accepting of foreigners. Which is fine, but it's nice to know what places are easier for tourists. 😊
Stephanie, I'm familiar with who you are! What a wonderful surprise seeing you as a new addition to the Japan by Food team! My only criticism would be to use "inexpensive" rather than "cheap" when describing foods... Cheap has a negative connotation and though everyone understands you're speaking specifically about the price,.. it just doesn't sound right when the quality of Japanese food is relatively high.
Omg! Love Stephanie and as a fellow long nail girlie I am living for her cat eye nails!! The video was a nice change up I love Shizuoka but am happy to see the channel grow and expand, can’t wait to visit using all your giuides. STEPHANIE YOU ROCK!
Osaka has long been Japan's center of commerce and distribution, so it's pragmatic. Citizens don't like to put on a show and are very direct. Prices are cheap. Tokyo is a place where people who want to show off live.
Absolutely loved Osaka. I wonder how old this video really is with so many still wearing there masks. I watch 1,000S of videos daily, this is the absolute most of people wearing masks in Japan I have seen in 2024. Absolutely love your bark blue fingernails. Yum seafood. Loved your face reaction trying these 3 dishes, I think the 3rd 1 was your favorite. The fried Combo meal looked so delicious, absolutely would have had 2 cokes with it to wash it down with. Absolutely love lamb curry, if they don’t have, would not have gone in. Absolutely Loved Every Second // Absolutely Outstanding From Start To Finish

Stephanie, I love your style. You have a sweet look and a charming accent that I adore. However, those sharp nails give you a playful villain vibe... like a magical witch. Sometimes, I worry you might turn me into a rabbit!😛😂🤣😉✨🐇
Differences in culture of vanity. In the case of Tokyo, this dress of mine looks nice, how much do you think it cost? Wasn't that expensive? Yes, it cost 200,000 yen. Wow, that's expensive. As expected, you are making a lot of money. In the case of Osaka, this clothing design is good, right? How much do you think it cost? I think it was quite expensive because the design is good. Actually, this is a bargain item, a cheap item I found at a small store in town. Oh, you're someone who knows the value of your things.

That okonomiyaki looked good, not on the cheap side though, but was to be expected from a touristy place.
There are definitely cheaper options, but considering it was Michelin recommended, we think it was quite affordable!:)
