Watching your channel has proved to me that a drain cleaner ripped me off. You can do a very efficient job clearing drains (including root removal) if you know how to handle the hp hose. I used the information on your channel to get a 50 percent refund. Thanks, Benton. PS. Just to add, the tech stopped when he saw roots. Fingers not logs. He recommended replacing the sweep elbow to remove all roots, etc. $3500.00. Sure it was some work. I decided to take this on. Easy digging only to find a sweep elbow WITH a clean out. Threaded brass cap and used a liberal amount of penetrating fluid that came of easily. Couldn't believe it, the vertical down pipe was completely blocked. Blasted the clog (dirt, etc) with a solid stream hose attachment and the drain was clear in 15 minutes. WOW. The tech saw roots then $$$$. Made my blood boil. If you have to pay, so be it. But that recommendation to replace the elbow when not needed was over the top. Thanks again!
Between him and the Penetrator they gave me the courage to clear my own with a jetter! They both explain every as they go which is awesome! And doing it myself gave me a massive amount of respect for them, that damn system I used, 2,700 psi gave me a workout, theirs I can’t even imagine their grip strength from using it!
@@bobkash3446 My first try a few months ago was with a 3200 psi at 3 GPM machine, it cleared several blocks in a 4 inch drain, mostly grease and food in a restaurant kitchen floor drain, one at 30 ft, one at 50 ft. I only had a 100 ft hose, and needed 135 ft to get to the street, but I ran the whole 100 ft and didn't hit any other clogs. I have since ordered a 150 ft hose and upgraded to 4000 psi at 8 GPM, but I just got it and have not hooked it all up and tried it, but I'm excited already. That first try was with a cheap 1/4 hose and the plain nozzle that it came with from Amazon. I also ordered a camera and inspected that line I cleaned a few months earlier, and it is super clean. I am about ready to go hunting for some roots, and I can say Ollie gave me the reason to want to try this out. I also ordered a reverse turbo nozzle and a forward turbo nozzle. By the way, it's not just pressure that makes those nozzles do what they do, it takes flow, which seems to be around 8 gpm and up.
Hey Ollie, love watching you do a masterful job. I work for a fire sprinkler company and can tell you with 100% certainty that no stuff is added to the water to keep it from rusting. However that being a parking garage it may be subject to freezing so they may put antifreeze in the water. The black in the water is the iron rusting and heavy minerals in the water settling out as that water only moves if there is a problem. keep the awesome stuff coming
mmm, sprinkler piping and boiler water, yummy yummy. either one leaks and it ruins everything with permanent staining. let alone the water flooding part. lol

Be careful with those cars! I was pressure washing the gas islands at work & a car jumped the curb & came flying in off the street. I could see her holding her cell phone right in front of her face. She didn't see me until I stood up but she had already run over the pressure washer! Safety Third!

When you’re working that close to your van, you should take a big blanket and drape over the back of the hatch for some sound deflection. It should still get plenty of air as well. You could probably use magnets to hold it in place.
