Tonight is killer,as is both albums.I remember going to buy the album or vinyl as they call it these days and on cassette more easy to play in the park at full blast as we did .I wore that diary of a madman T-shirt never off my back for about 3 years honestly and got the nick name ozzy...The 80s were the best believe me,best music best movies.I don't suppose you have a full version of how you play crazy train? if not could you make one please? Thanks for the channel, your really talented keep it up.
Yeah, I always turn up the outro solo. Because it’s Randy and there’s so precious little of his playing. I was 15 when my friend had me over to hear Blizzard, and that was it. From then on, Randy became my ‘teacher.’ I didn’t care anymore about most other guitarists, really. Michael Schenker, Al di Meola and a few others. And I saw Ozzy and Randy the following summer, 1981 at Alpine Valley in WI. and I was so blown away! I barely watched Ozzy! Then a few months later came Diary. It so closely followed Blizzard, yet Randy had seemingly evolved overnight! Then, I heard King Biscuit’s Flower Hour of Ozzy on the radio and again, he torched my brain! He played all these fills in between - he was so beyond! And then one night, March 19, 1982, sitting on my bed and listening to the radio and playing my guitar, came the news of his death. He was a shooting star. Just a flash in the sky. I was heartbroken. Anyway, I really appreciate your spotlighting Randy. He needs lots of attention and studying. He was outstanding.
Randy didn't have the monstrous tone or the bag of tricks Eddie had and is still considered a musical peer of his. That speaks volumes about how important arrangement is.
Randy was a huge fan of EVH according to Rudy Sarzo . Guitar World: Were there any particular players Randy admired? Rudy Sarzo: Yeah, let me tell you who they were. He really admired Gary Moore and Eddie Van Halen. Those were his top two guys he really, really admired.
Always been one of my top five favorite solos of all time! I always wondered how long the outro actually went on and if there were any unreleased copies of it.
😊it grows hair Cameron ?😂 ( je rigole don't worry)! Super solo 🤘 Joke asid you 're a great guitar player with a fantastic touch! Et vive l'angleterre !🇬🇧
The planted pinkie is interesting. I do it for finger picking, it gives great stability, that's for sure. You play so well with great flow and time, if I may presume to say so. Very inspiring. Thanks.
See. It's not about who can play the fastest. RR just had a way that, even after all these years, still leaves me in TOTAL awe!
Good choice, I think “Goodbye to Romance “ might be mine, or his “Children of the Grave” solo from Tribute.
Tonight. Awesome. ❤
I can't believe you only have 164k subscribers.. At least 1 mil is well deserved here.. Love the vids sir!
I appreciate that!
Sir, you're my Hero...Thanks!
RR = the MASTER...
Randy is probably my fav guitarist.
Amazing Solo
YES!!! This solo is so overlooked, as one of his greatest pieces! Thanks for doing this one!
Every time I hear the outro solo, makes me sad that Randy left so soon. He was so brilliant makes me wonder what he would be doing now with his music…
Probably not a lot. He was apparently planning to leave Ozzy to go back to teaching once the Diary Of A Madman tour had finished.
THANK YOU THE OUTRO IS CRAZY BEN WAITING FOR THIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Describing turning up the volume slowly at the ending brought me back to the early 80s doing exactly that!
Amazing solo! My favorite too
Cam, again you always have the greatest angles, and the greatest explanations.
My favorite as well! Both are my favorite.🎉
Love Randy
I love the randy lesson on the EVH guitar.
Thanks for all the Randy lessons!
Randy Rhoads, inspiration beyond forever!
Always nice to hear some Randy.
So sick thanks brother
My favorite as well. So melodic!
Yep,have to agree.Tonight and revelation,Randy at his best.
Great choice!
Clean man
Sounds beautiful, so effortlessly done👏🤘

Great post Cam! I love that solo!
Randy at his best.

Wonderful! 👏
The way you play makes it looks so easy, but when I try it, man I want to throw it in the bin 😂
I love that stealth 5150! I got a deluxe myself because of the pickup positioning though.❤
My favorite Ozzy song, the outro solo is one of the best in Rock history
Always been one of my top five favorite solos of all time! I always wondered how long the outro actually went on and if there were any unreleased copies of it.

Super solo 🤘

Cheers! I've never thought about it until you mentioned. My technique is a result of doing what felt natural since I had no guitar lessons.
Круто 👍!!!!
Yep that song just reminds me of a summer concert . Just awesome . I just wish the record producers used a better studio staff .
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Awesome cam love randy and King Edward how about some George Lynch he is an amazing player
My fav Ozzy song
Mr Crowleys solo is the greatest solo ever.
It depends on what you value in a guitar solo
Can you do a video of Album Patient 9, track “Under the grave yard by Ozzy”
This has always been my favourite. Turned up that outro fade out every time! Fantastic video.
