I wish Coach would reproduce more of their vintage bags - no big C's or logos ruining the design of the bag. Perhaps the success of the Empire bag will lead the way. These are all classics, thank you for sharing!
@09mannaj yes I don't like the logos either, just the beautiful leather. I have the duffle with the round bottom from the 1980's, and a hunter green duffle 16 in 2023.
Who checks a woman's purse? If you're out there trying to figure out if someone's bag is real, who are you? Are you a tax evasion cop? So if you can get a really nice fake bag, why not? *gtdupe*
But people don't necessarily "care" if people own a luxury item, in fact, there is a reason why people have the money to buy luxury items and invest in them. Quality, quantity, and of course buying luxury items as exclusive products. Because if I had the money, I would enjoy fashion and own brands, etc. *gtdupe*
Beautiful collection i have the original Willis as well in 2 colors,i have recently moved and just started to use my vintage Coach collection ,the quality and style is magnificent, time tested will always keep them in my collection Use those treasures in the very best of health, xoxo MJ
It’s so great that you saved your Coach bags from years ago. I’m your age and when I started my first job in the late 80’s my father bought me the Coach Shoulder Brief in British Tan. I used it every day for a couple of years and then decided I was tired of it and gave it away. I have regretted that for thirty years. All I have left of it is the British Tan hang tag. A couple years ago I bought a few vintage British Tan Coach bags to fill that hole in my heart and I plan to give them a bath ( following Josh’s video).
What an interesting topic! I used to buy fake stuff in high school because I simply couldn't afford what I wanted. It's desirable, and if I can get what I want from a *gtdupe* for a few dozen bucks, sure, why not?
When I carry a fake or knockoff bag *gtdupe* , I feel proud because I know I didn't spend unnecessary money and I can dress up and proudly support my family at the same time. As for the owners of designer brands, there is no need to support them because they have everything. This is how I see it.
I have ordered from this *gtdupe* store several times, a total of 6 bags. The average quality is very high. Moreover, they stand behind their sales and have issued refunds on some products that did not meet the stated quality.
My friend gave me a bag and I thought she was rich because she was dating a rich guy. Later she told me that she bought it at *gtdupe* store. Oh my god! I really can't tell the real thing from the fake.
Hi Jennifer thank you for sharing your wonderful vintage Coach collection with us you have a beautiful collection and I loved seeing the joy all over your face your smile got bigger and bigger with each piece 💚💚💚 Coach did rerelease some of the original bags that are the thick glove tanned leather you should check them out gorgeous
Ok I LOVE the vintage bags!!! I had so many vintage Coach bags. I started buying them in probably 1993. The outlets would send me coupons every month and the more you bought the more you saved!!! Sadly my sister took all of them when i moved out.....i never ciuld replace them...
What a fun video! I agree with you. There is nothing like the old Coach glove-tanned leather! I miss it. Everything looks to be in good shape. There were a couple of bags (especially the last one) that I would love! Enjoy them.
This was so fun! I still adore my vintage Coach bags too. We have quite a few in common. I have the exact green Scooter bag that I still use for dog walking. Also the doctor-type satchel is the Beaumont satchel, I have it in mahogany. The larger messenger-type bag with the dowel on top is the Willis, the smaller size without the dowel would be the Station Bag. And the last one is the Zip Top clutch, mine is also in British Tan. I'm with you, if Coach could ever bring back these amazing leathers I would line up to buy more!
You have the willis the station bag doesn't have that bar going across just top handle and it ls more longer than willis. The black small duffel is call the slim duffel . Beautiful collection and thanks for sharing 👍🙂
Vintage Coach is my weakness (especially the 1941’s), even over my LV’s, Balmain, and Stella McCartney! 😊 I have that chalk Legacy bag in red patent! Also, I also live in Florida, (St. Augustine), and I’ve unsmushed some of my leather bags by stuffing, but not overstuffing, and putting them outside overnight in the humidity, then brought them inside the ac, keeping them stuffed and by the time I was ready to use them, they had regained their shape. 😊
This is like me revisiting my vintage collection, I had so many of the original thick leathered bags (prior to coach going light weight). I gave away and donated so many. My first bag cost $56. in 1974 plus my friend worked at the department store so I got her discount on top of that! Coach over the years like everyone else sacrificed their quality but the old ones are beautiful but heavy. Also do you remember the Bruce Makowsky bags from QVC? The leather was nice but there was always a quirk to the design to make the bags not work perfectly so many were sent back. Heard he was designing leather goods in the auto industry, not sure how true that is but he made a killing and left as quick as he came. His wife also made trendier bags with fringe and charms (not my taste) and she also has flown the coop. Thanks for the memories.
If we could only time travel back to 1974 and grab a few Coach bags... I DO remember B. Makowsky bags! I had totally forgotten them until you mentioned it. They were not my style, really, but my daughter had one she loved.
Why do I like imitation bags? First, I don't have much money, and second, I think the original is just a way for capitalists to make money, which is really unnecessary. I bought the bag at *gtdupe* . Once at a party, my friends praised my bag for being beautiful.
I believe that’s the Devon- not a court bag. I think the court had a top handle similar to the Cassie? I commented that I was waiting for the oxblood tabby 26 on the last video and I’m in LOVE!!! And it came before my trip- which I’m on now, this week. Sigh… now I’m going to hunt for a Devon. 🥴😍😎
Yes! I think you are right...that is the Devon. Oh, I am so glad you got your oxblood tabby 26, and on time for your trip, too. Yay! Enjoy your trip and hunt for the Devon when you get back :)
You showed a Willis (Station is smaller, there is also a Murphy that is 3/4 the size of a Willis but no handle), your “court” is a Devon, the “swinger” is a Scooter.
I like your genuine enthusiasm. I too have a collection, it's only perhaps 10 bags, and agree, the heavy leather surpasses today's. All are different to yours, but same span of decades.
Costa Rica leather on the vintage Coach is my all-time fave. I've been able to rehab a couple vintage bags (always found them at thrift stores years ago but not so much anymore) and they sell for a couple hundred these days on eBay. I have a red Pocket Purse from the 90s that I dunked and boy oh boy did the water run pink for a long time! I love that 9966 with the nickel hardware and will add that to my wishlist! Along with that grey Willis with the nickel... LOVE. (The Willis bags had the wooden dowel with the tophandle; the Station bags had no dowel for the tophandle.)
I love handbags and jewelry the most. I have a Coco Handle in caramel and a *gtdupe* in red. I really like the red dumpling bag and the purple bag. I would love to see how you pair them even if you never wear them.
I have an original duffle with the round bottom in British tan. In 2023 I gave 6 of my Coach bags back to Coach for their rebate program. Bought hunter green Duffle 16,Dec.2023, that I wear cross body. You inspired me to clean and moisturize my Coach bags this weekend. The last bag you showed, the clutch or "pouch" with the wrist handle, I have in oxblood color, with ticking lining. Where are your Cassies'? Loved the video. Great memories!
Your original duffle sounds amazing! I need to clean and stuff my bags too, now that I have them out of the box. My Cassie's are front and center in my closet, ready to grab at a moment's notice! They just didn't make it into this video since they aren't vintage. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing your vintage Coach bags❤ While watching this video, I went to take a look at my Willis bag in British Tan, my first Coach bag purchased in 2/1992 at a Coach outlet store. I just looked at its inner patch to find it was made in Italy. I really like the vintage styles but I didn’t have money to buy more back then. Early 2000 I noticed cloth/satin lining with small cell phone pockets. I owned a couple and I think the phone pockets make these purses look outdated inside 😅 I found your channel a few years ago when I got interested in Coach Cassie (I have a black one and a multicolor one from Nordstrom anniversary sale). Love your videos 😊
Loving this blast from the past! I have the legacy fabric stripe belt…LOVED it!!! I think I still have it somewhere…..it would never go around my waist now😂
What great classics Jen. I love that back pack. So great that you kept them all these years. I wish I had my Gucci bags my husband gave me when we were dating in the 80’s. Not sure what happened to them I may have just worn them out😂. Thanks for sharing your collection. Love it. Now that I am older I am much more nostalgic about stuff.
While searching for these Coach bags, I came across my old Gucci bags from the 80's, and an old Dooney and Burke. I can get rid of a lot of things, but I struggle to part with bags.
Thanks Becky! I hope the smooshed parts straighten out some. I'll just stuff them with tissue paper and see if that does the trick. Dinkys are great bags!
Such a fun video! This brings back a lot of memories for me because I have vintage Coach bags too. I feel a renewed sense of appreciation after seeing your video! Thanks for sharing!
I feel the same. Just touching all those bags again and feeling the thickness of the leather and the substantial heft of the hardware made me realize that very little is made that way anymore, anywhere!
Just sending hugs and hope you are all safe and well. We have seen the footage of the storm and wanted you to know we are thinking of you all. Stay safe.
What a fun collection you have Jennifer! I got a Dinky bag at an antique store in a beautiful maroon/brown color. I imagine if you use some leather cleaner on them it’ll revive them nicely. I absolutely love vintage bags!
Okay, you win! That's the biggest vintage Coach collection I've seen. And everything is in such great shape! I have a handful of vintage Coach that I'll have to dig out when I find the time. The thick glove leather is such high quality for sure! My vintage bags are brown and black. But I absolutely love the burgundy, chalk and British tan colors that are in your collection! Enjoy wearing them. ;-)
When I carry a fake or knockoff bag *gtdupe* , I feel proud because I know I didn't spend unnecessary money and I can dress up and proudly support my family at the same time. As for the owners of designer brands, there is no need to support them because they have everything. This is how I see it.
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the *gtdupe* as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
Beautiful collection of Coach bags. The chalk colored bag is my favorite. My Coach nags are in darker colors with the exception of a cream colored Cassie. I want a Tabby next in dark stone. Enjoy!
Thank you! I worried so much about getting that bag in chalk. I almost got the British tan color, but it just didn't make my heart sing like the chalk. I am truly amazed it doesn't look more dirty or worn out than it does. Tabby in dark stone is gorgeous!
Fun video Jennifer...walking down memory lane! I was a Coach fanatic also back 30-40 years ago. They were amazing quality back then...sad no longer that way. Your taupe bag is definitely a Devon; the Court bags were shorter and more of a trapezoid like a squatty Station bag. Your other taupe bag is a Willis; has a rod on top whereas Station looked almost identical but no rod and slightly more squared handle area on top. Your Dinky was probably a navy; my navy Station ALWAYS looked black to me until I saw someone with a true black Station side by side. I preferred navy which looked more like a cool toned black, whereas black was more warm toned and flat. Thanks for sharing your collection....so nostalgic and fun!!!
Thank you for all the info! I used to be able to remember all the names and everything at the drop of a hat. Good for you to be able to do that! I think you are right about the navy Dinky. I always thought it was navy, but this time got me questioning it. It is very dark navy and does give off a more cool toned look. They best part is that it works with outfits as either navy or black!
That is a fact. And there is so much more... 😝 I have narrowed down my collection so much over the years that it still amazes me I kept this many bags.
That was interesting. Do you hold on to everything Jennifer? I used to hate the thought of parting with my stuff, even when I knew I’d never use them ever again. But it began to overwhelm so decided to start getting rid…and It’s been the best feeling ever. Opening cupboards & wardrobes now gives me so much pleasure I wish I’d done it a lot sooner. (Stay safe over there Hope the hurricane isn’t as fierce as they’re saying XX
I use my *hotdups* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interior.
We share great taste! I have a binocular bag in black with brown leather trim and strap. Absolutely love COACH handbags. Have several others and I after all these years still love them and reach for them. Thanks for sharing your collection. Beautiful!👜👛👜🛍👜
Thanks Gia! I'm so glad I kept these bags. I think having lots of storage in a house helps. I had basements and lots of storage in my houses in the midwest, and have next to none here in FL. So i can imagine that if I had lived here all those years ago, I would have parted with so many more bags due to space constraints. I'm struggling to find space to keep them now, but am determined!
Love vintage Coach and really enjoyed watching you unpack them all. I had no idea you were such a Coach collector! I believe the green one is called the Scooter. I have one in red, purchased preloved, but that was my first Coach purchase years ago and I wish I had held onto them all. Enjoy your beauties! ❤
Hi Laura. Yes, it all started in the 80's. I had to scrimp and save for each bag at the time, and wore the living daylights out of some of them! Oh, to be able to go back to the 70's long enough to get my hands on some of the styles they had, brand new!! Dreamy. I love the no logo, insane quality, simple yet functional design of true vintage (pre-1990s) Coach bags.
Green is called the Scooter bag not pocket, the brown Its not he Court bag., the one from Josh is not the Willis bag, the one after the red is called Willis bag. The way to find out the handbags name is to look inside the handbag and look at the patch and there’s a number and Google the number that’s inside usually is starts with a Letter Willis number 9927
🤗👏🏻🤗AWESOME video Jennifer 😃…..that first tan bag is gorgeous, but did not know they were made in China …….Love the little olive colored bag and the dinky gray NYC is a treasure ❣the taupe court bag is divine🤎….black satchel is amazing as is the dk grey Willis too🖤 OH the burgundy legacy bucket and white one-keep those 4EVR it’s fantastic!!!!! And oh that British tan pouch in the vintage box gorgeous …..oh I miss those days of that leather🥹🥰
I love it! You sound as excited about all of them as I am! They just make me so happy and they feel like rare pieces of American history and craftsmanship. All Coach bags were made in the USA until the early 90's, then in 96 (I believe) they started making them in other countries such as China, Costa Rica, etc.
Coach was started in 1941 and was made in the USA until the early 1990s. In 1996, they started to outsource to other countries. That was "the beginning of the end" in my opinion. So true vintage Coach usually refers to those original bags manufactured in the US from 1941 to 1996-ish.
Jennifer, when you announce where each bag is made, it sounded like you were announcing the winning country in some sweepstakes 😊 You’re so cute and it made me laugh. We miss you here in the Chicagoland area ❤. Stay safe in the hurricane hitting the Gulf of Mexico and the Florida panhandle 🙏
Ha!! "Annddd the winner isss...... Made in the United States!" I miss the Chicagoland area and have brought all the delights of a midwest fall down here the best I could. Finding summer clothing in autumn colors in not easy, I'll tell you that! We are hoping that we only experience some wind and rain here in the Central FL area, but are prepared for worse if it happens. Thank you for keeping your eye on me down here! ♥️
I did a complete jewelry collection once and had to take it down after awhile due to all the odd, threatening and scary comments, unfortunately. So now, I share bits and pieces of my jewelry as I wear them.
I think so too. They became affectionately known as my "clown shoes" since they are quite a colorful statement. But I loved them for so long and they made me happy! I still can't believe they are in such great condition considering they are basically a silky fabric material.
I am a bit appalled at how smooshed some of them were, and I need to stuff them and plump/straighten them back out somewhat.. But I do love knowing that with the incredible vintage Coach leather that should be no problem. Thank you!
Jen Jen I love your house that you just moved in to a few months or a year idk but Iam coming soon in Christmas and tell Chester I miss him too from: Taylor
Oooh! So nice that you know the name of it! I have looked and looked online and could not figure it out. It seems very hard to find. I'm not selling it at this time, but I guess I'll never say never.
I wish Coach would reproduce more of their vintage bags - no big C's or logos ruining the design of the bag. Perhaps the success of the Empire bag will lead the way. These are all classics, thank you for sharing!
Yes! That would be wonderful.
@09mannaj yes I don't like the logos either, just the beautiful leather. I have the duffle with the round bottom from the 1980's, and a hunter green duffle 16 in 2023.

I remember that time, I accidentally stepped into *gtdupe* . Since then, I have a few more pieces of art in my wardrobe and less anxiety about bills.

Whether it's real or fake, as long as it's a style I like, I will like it and buy it. But to me *gtdupe* , fakes look better than real ones.

Lovely collection! I’ve been purchasing vintage coach bags because of the leather.
I like all the vintage Coach bags which you showed in the video. I just wonder in what way I can buy a vintage coach bag? Is there any recommendation?
My first corporate “big girl” job, I treated myself to my first coach bag; circa 1983. I’m now retired from that first job but still have that bag!
I love that! Bags go places with us and become a part of our memories of times and events.

It was so fun to see you unbox your collection. I share the same excitement when I look at mine! Most of mine are also vintage.
Such a beautiful collection! I gave away most of my Coach bags, except for 3-4 I still have in the bottom of my closet

Just sending hugs and hope you are all safe and well. We have seen the footage of the storm and wanted you to know we are thinking of you all. Stay safe.
Thank you so much! We are hoping for the best but prepared for the worst.
What a fun collection you have Jennifer! I got a Dinky bag at an antique store in a beautiful maroon/brown color. I imagine if you use some leather cleaner on them it’ll revive them nicely. I absolutely love vintage bags!
I will definitely give them all a good cleaning, conditioning and stuffing (to straighten them out!) Thank you!
Enjoy wearing them. ;-)
Hahaha! I just love vintage Coach, what can I say? Thank you :)
When I carry a fake or knockoff bag *gtdupe* , I feel proud because I know I didn't spend unnecessary money and I can dress up and proudly support my family at the same time. As for the owners of designer brands, there is no need to support them because they have everything. This is how I see it.
Whether it's real or fake, as long as it's a style I like, I will like it and buy it. But to me *gtdupe* , fakes look better than real ones.
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the *gtdupe* as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
I bought a replica Chanel mini and wish I had more Chanel but given my limited budget it's nice to have a *hotdups*
💖💖You certainly give new meaning to BAG LADY! 👜👝👛🛍🩰
That is a fact. And there is so much more... 😝 I have narrowed down my collection so much over the years that it still amazes me I kept this many bags.
The small olive bag is call the scooter all your vintage pieces are beautiful 🙂👍
I actually got rid of so many bags and things when we moved to FL. There are just things I couldn’t part with!
I use my *hotdups* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interior.
@@AndrusaGiani I don’t put water bottle in my bags but I always have keys and pen in whatever bag I use, as they’re vital items.
We share great taste! I have a binocular bag in black with brown leather trim and strap. Absolutely love COACH handbags. Have several others and I after all these years still love them and reach for them. Thanks for sharing your collection. Beautiful!👜👛👜🛍👜
They really are forever bags!
Very nice collection🎉
Love vintage Coach. N this year they have made a great come back! Great Coach pieces/ TFS 💓
Beautiful fall collection
Thank you!
Wowwy, very impressive collection of Coach and it all looks in good shape, I loved the last item, British tan wristlet.
What a great collection. I had a few and unfortunately got rid of them . Oh, how I wish i had them back. They were work horses. Thanks for sharing.
You have an amazing collection! Love every bag! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for watching!
OMG those bags are great 😍😍😍
I loved seeing your vintage Coach collection and especially loved that beautiful pumpkin in the background 💛🧡
Thank you so much! That is a pumpkin pillow from Pottery Barn. Love it!
That was so fun Jennifer...I loved seeing your gorgeous bags....so glad you got them unpacked to now enjoy again, just in time for Fall !
Thanks! I feel like I got a bunch of "new" bags!
@@JustJennifer Yes so great, love it!!!
Wow, love all of them! Thanks sharing, Jennifer! Coach is Coach. ❤
Thank you!
You have some great “new” bags for this fall and winter! 😍
I think so too! I'm excited to use them 😃
Hey kudos to you for picking such timeless pieces. All of these look relevant for today’s fashion. Anyway love your channel❤
Thank you. I love the simple, classic, well constructed, no logo look!
When you pulled out the Bleeker bucket bag… I gasped!!
I did too, a bit, because I had forgotten I had it! :)
What a great collection Jennifer! I love them all!! Enjoy!!😄❤❤
Thank you so much!
Wow what a beautiful collection and they’re in such Pristine condition!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Thank you so much!
Yes I’m curious when the started producing in China as they say the vintage was American made. Interesting
Wow. A blast from the past. How fun. And you looked like a kid at Christmas. I had that legacy bag in turquoise. Great leather back then.
I felt like a kid at Christmas! Unwrapping favorite bags I haven't seen in awhile that carry memories....how fun is that!?
@@JustJennifer nothing like it!!
I loved watching you open your coach bags. Great video😊
It was so much fun to do! Thank you.
Loved this one. Can you please do a current jewelry collection next. Thanks
I did a complete jewelry collection once and had to take it down after awhile due to all the odd, threatening and scary comments, unfortunately. So now, I share bits and pieces of my jewelry as I wear them.
Your shoes are so cute! I love the legacy stripes.
I think so too. They became affectionately known as my "clown shoes" since they are quite a colorful statement. But I loved them for so long and they made me happy! I still can't believe they are in such great condition considering they are basically a silky fabric material.
That was so fun!! Great bags! I feel like yours are so much better than todays coach.
Thanks! They really are a whole different species from todays Coach, unfortunately.
Love the vintage bags ❤
Me too!
Oh wow! You were smart to hang onto these, quality like this is harder and harder to find these days!
So true! Thank you
Haha, girl it’s called the creed. Stuff them bags with whatever you got, paper 4:54 , balloons, towels. You need to keep their shape! 😮❤❤
Yes!! That's it! I knew there was a name for that "info" thing. 🤦🏻♀️

That's a great idea! Thanks.
Great video..Scooter is the green one and Devon is the taupe/brown one
The satchel looks like the Beaumont
Scooter!! That's it...thank you :) (I was sort of close with "swinger"...HA!) Yes, you are right, it is the Devon, not the Court.
@@JustJenniferand I love that they are all your original bags👏🏼
Love love love your coach bags!🥰🥰🥰
Thank you!
Love the pouch! Girl you have a gold mine there!
Thank you, sweet poTAYto!! We can't wait!! Chester says "herro"!
What a great collection!
Thank you!
If you google the number on the creed it will tell you the name of the bag. Great collection. TFS 😊
True. I should have done that! Thank you
Beautiful bags. It is hard to find leather and workmanship of that quality even in so called designer bags.
Completely agree!
So fun!
Thanks!
The taupe bag is a Devon bag.
Yes! That's it! Thank you
How exciting!
It was super fun to unwrap all of them!
@@JustJennifer Really enjoyed that video, though it did make me think that I should not have sold a few of my Coach bags.
Get some leather CPR, all you need is to moisturize these bags! They thirsty!
I will be doing that and stuffing them to plump them back up! Thank you.
Couldn't click fast enough. I like your taste in bags ❤
Oh thank you!
Also, love the room you are in
Thank you!
Beautiful bags ❤😊
Thank you!
@@JustJennifer your welcome
Those bag are in great condition . Are you selling any of them?
Thank you. No, not at this time.

first one - Dylan Soho Distressed Braided Weekend bag in tobacco- I am on the look out- MUST HAVE this bag (are you selling :) )
Oooh! So nice that you know the name of it! I have looked and looked online and could not figure it out. It seems very hard to find. I'm not selling it at this time, but I guess I'll never say never.
Love them!
Thank you!
Taupe gray bag is a Willis.
