REACTORS need to listen to more of STATUS QUO when they were THE FRANTIC FOUR with LANCASTER, COGHLAN, PARFITT & ROSSI as the line-up.
    1967-1982.
Coghlan, Lancaster and Rossi played together from 1963, Parfitt joined in 1967.
    Roy Lynes 1965 - 1970.
Both Coghlan and Lancaster left QUO due to the music direction Rossi was taking the Band in the early 80's.
Softer, contemporary, even experimental Rock and Country Rock.
Status Quo were formed in 1962 under the name The Paladins[16] by Francis Rossi (vocals, guitar) and Alan Lancaster (bass) at Sedgehill Comprehensive School, Catford, London, along with classmates Jess Jaworski (keyboards) and Alan Key (drums).[1] Rossi and Lancaster played their first gig at the Samuel Jones Sports Club in Dulwich, London. In 1963, Key was replaced by John Coghlan and the band changed their name to The Spectres.[2] After changing their name, Lancaster's father arranged for the group to perform weekly at a venue called the Samuel Jones Sports Club, where they were noticed by Pat Barlow, a gasfitter and budding pop music manager. Barlow became the group's manager and secured them spots at venues around London, such as El Partido in Lewisham and Café des Artistes in Chelsea.[17] In 1965, when Rossi, Lancaster and Jaworski left school, Jaworski opted to leave the band and was replaced by Roy Lynes.

Consider this, Quo tickets are now starting to come out for the 2024 European tour and all 15 venues in Germany are sold out, the UK tickets go on sale next week, a band that started in the early '60s and have toured every year from the beginning, what other band could match that.

Dad knew what i wanted ;) he got the tickets for my 25 birthday, 9 month before the concert was happening.

When I got home that night early one morning
Seeing the note written in ink pinned to the door
Drinking the drink cold from the fridge on the table
I drank a toast you were the most the night before
Roll over lay down and let me in
Roll over it's a long way where I've been
Roll over lay down and let me in
    Roll over lay down
When I get home tomorrow night after this morning
Show me the care you showed in the note the night before
Maybe I won't take a drink from the table
Reckon I'll lay me straight down on the floor
Roll over lay down and let me in
Roll over it's a long way where I've been
Roll over lay down and let me in
    Roll over lay down
When I get home tomorrow night after this morning
Show me the day, show me the note the night before
Maybe I won't take a drink from the table
Reckon I'll lay me straight down on the floor
Roll over lay down and let me in
Roll over it's a long way where I've been

    Roll over lay down

They opened the British version of band or live aid has it's called now. They, has openers they made the others a bit envious mainly because they were a live act band and together they made live aid what is now history and when they came off after being the first act on the bill. They were out of their heads drunk and before and after they started playing allegedly. You might be able to find this bands live aid video interview they did . They were a sixties band that even if they bought out a song tomorrow it would go to number ten in the charts and maybe go higher. I think they never stopped touring well that's how I like to think of them. And the running joke "with the Quo" was they could only play three chords over the last fifty years, "three chords, my arse,"
    Love mum
