You just like to whine and complain because life is miserable for you, because reality is there is life outside of youtube, just because you love watching videos of those who don´t get charged with a crime because there is not enough evidence so that you can whine and complain and repeat the same thing over and over (I mean actual evidence, not evidence people like you who watch a video for 2 minutes and thinks they know it all evidence). That judge, Alberto milian is the coolest judge in dade county. I had a drug addiction and ended up in his court room numerous times, I had 4 felonies in his court room (possession of controlled substance) and he was always super fair and non biased. When I went to rehab, I was trying to get my license back but it was suspended because of court fees. I had over $5000 in court fees from his court room, when I went in front of the court to ask if he could take me out of collections so I could make payment arrangements with the court, he waived all $5000+ in court fees, enabling me to get my license back immediately. I’ll never forget the way he treated me, even as I sat in an orange jumpsuit in the box, he was always fair. Great man.

He has to apply for release, the parole board can deny it.
If they don't deem he's served enough sentence, are under pressure from family to keep him detained, or his behaviour has not been that of a remorseful person, they can keep him in until the day he dies.
Not sure about the US. In the UK, with a life sentence even after release you're still on license. If you breach any of your license terms, or even commit a minor offence (steal a pack of gum) you can be recalled to prison and your life sentence continues. To be released you have to go through the whole parole board process again. That arrangement continues for life.

Just after 6 a.m., Piedrahita recorded himself on Facebook Live riding a motorcycle and following a group of cyclists. Piedrahita reportedly often rode with cyclists to ensure their safety. Suddenly, there's a confrontation and the phone goes down. Gunfire is then heard.
Palencia was taken to the Ryder Trauma Center, where he died.
During Piedrahita's trial, prosecutors said the scuffle and shooting were the result of a feud that had developed days earlier.
Palencia's daughter said her father and Piedrahita knew each other. She said her father had sold Piedrahita some type of insurance and Piedrahita went on an angry tirade on Facebook, calling her father a con man.
