Daniel Lubetsky Get IGNORED By Ice Cream Canteen Owner | Shark Tank US | Shark Tank Global
/ @sharktankglobal
Dudes got a good point no reason to offer 20% right off because you know they're gonna always ask for more lol
Yea it's funny how Damon got so butt hurt. Especially when other people have come in asking for 1-3% and he didn't freak out.
One of those things you don’t say out-loud though
bruh daymond is always butt hurt plus he scammed his boneless ribs deal
Exactly.
Some get exactly what they ask for
If their valuation is reasonable
Legend has it that Daniel is still waiting to make his offer
Lmfao
Stop leaving comments like this 🤣
If Daniel had a better offer he would've said it. I bet he would've asked for 25% and said it's based on the amount of work he and his team are about to put in yada yada 😂. His typical script
And the guy keeps looking around all nervous and confused and giggles shyly
😂😂😂
The more they want a deal, the more they talk over each other. Daniel stood no chance against the hangry sharks lol
That man is 100% class.
They have no class and Daniel does. Shame he lost out.
If Damon had partnered with Daniel, who he said had an ice cream company, perhaps both would have gotten the deal and not Mark and Lori. 😊
I feel bad for Daniel, but respect to him for staying calm. Any other shark would have had their ego's hurt and shouted IM OUT. I think Daniel would have been the better choice
I think the guy was despicable for treating Daniel like this.
He deserves having his bussines go down in flames.
Or be pushed out via hostile takeover.
That's so true. That's Robert right there all the way. He gets butt hurt real quick.
@@GameslordXY He deserves that? Man that's the most psychopathic think i've seen someone comment on youtube for a while. He was very respectable and did his best. He had a lot of pressure on him because he could lose the offer.
@@jmg9509not true and he's not all that bright, did not read the room. He wasn't going to lose any deals and Lori would definitely go into a bidding war.
He could not get his offer out he’s just screaming “dont take their offer” but did not provide a better one
Daniel was the best shark for this guy and he wouldn’t even give him the time of day. His passion was instantly visible when he stood up to talk and his connections in this space are unparalleled, the entrepreneur messed this one up badly.
He tried but he didn't want to lose the one offer he had. Mark and Lori were pressuring him and threatening to withdraw if he listed to Daniel, and some sharks have actually backed out in the past. Maybe he could have handled it better but it was high risk and high tension
I agree
Daniel needed to fight harder to be heard. His offer should have been the first one to go out.
Definitely. Dude was lost and handled that terribly. Probably one of the most non professional Ive ever seen on shark tabk
Huge mistake for this entrepreneur.
The sharks totally take advantage of the enterpeneurs. They should be able to hear ALL the options. Kevin seems to be the only who doesn't do that.
Kevin is the heart of this show. Truly the best shark
He did that so many times.
That's why they are called "sharks"
@@metaleuman I've never seen him do that...and I've watched a lot.
@@MrSimur no.
To Daymond’s point, the show isn’t nearly what it used to be. The sharks used to take risks on people that haven’t yet proved themselves. Now if you haven’t proved yourself in sales, then the sharks will be like, “oh you haven’t sold enough. The market doesn’t want you. I’m out.” And then if you’ve proven yourself, then the sharks will ask a crazy evaluation and say “you don’t value us.” So it’s really a lose lose situation no matter what lol.
But they do get free PR
I think that comes from the Sharks' experience. They're putting real money on the line so they've probably become risk averse and learned what works and what doesn't work from being sharks for so long
facts
not just the show but this is the actual venture market in the world. companies are being forced to show results in terms of sell through and profitability and not just inflated stories and hyped up valuations
it's not evaluation, it's valuation
He handled that terribly yet still managed to get an amazing deal
his nervous laughters is what cracked me up the whole time
He handled great… this is a perfect example of sharks tearing each other and trying to tear him down. He stood his ground and didn’t stand for their bullying intimidation tactics
Bro that's how real entrepreneurs are. It's his first time getting an investment he did great for his first time
What choice does he have on that situation? The sharks gave him the fast paced moment, he did ok, not the best but ok.
An amazing deal for the sharks
Daymond loves to talk down to people.
And gets offended too quick
@@TheDogGoesWoof69what??
He's a baby, and I absolutely hate seeing him talk. He's the least professional of all of them.
you mean black people? @@TheDogGoesWoof69
@@msl361 He has a chip on his shoulder. But given where he came from and the fact you don't see too many people from there in board rooms, a little bit of that is expected.
I understand the pressure on the guy. Poor guy was worried and couldn't even listen to Daniel. And Daniel is such a gentleman he stated calm and understood the person. It's great show for a reason.
Daniel was truly wanting this offer, the other sharks got afraid of his offer this is why they forced the poor guy 😂
Might be true 😂
I think his offer isn't bellow 20, however he had some speech about his plans to say, otherwise he would threw his offer and the guy will grap it for sure
The fact that he said if Jordan needed funding for inventory then he should be going to the bank implies that he isn't that interested in giving more than 100,000 or at least a line of credit, unlike what Lori and Mark offered (200,000 credit).
Yes he was, the other sharks can be a bull’ish
Exactly
Damn! Daniel never got a chance to say his offer. Sad for him. He was the most potent shark for this deal I believe.
R u saying the other guys are impotent?
He should have just thrown his offer out there. I dont know why he stayed silent whilst the other sharks were pressing him to focus on theirs
yeah poor daniel and he owns a ice cream company too, I simpy love Daniel .
@@FCGLITCHES Exactly. He should've been assertive. I wouldn't have paid attention to Daniel either.
@@EricaInBorderlandHe’s from Mexico, they’re extremely polite compared to Americans.
“I think you are solving a HUGE need”
Glad we have our ice cream priorities in place
It doesn't need to save lives for it to be a need
What's your glamorous word saving product that can make millions? Just curious
They need to outright put a rule to ban this "shot clock" offers
Is unfair for the entrepreneurs, specially a guy like him that's clearly not experienced enough in negotitations
Then bring a good negotiator...
And if you say that that also applies to Mark. He should also stop doing that
Start a show yourself, then you can make and change any rule
Shark Tank Australia lets the entrepreneurs hear all the offers.
Yeah he was a nervous wreck
Mark and Lori bullied their way into the deal but the entrepreneur should have given Daniel a chance. He could've simply said " I respect your offer but I think I woujd want to listen to Daniel out of respect for what he is willing to offer"
Every entrepreneur has the right to get offers from all the sharks interested and it kind of beats the purpose of this show, these "take my offer or I'm out" deals
I agree 👍
Completely agreed
2:24 - Not Mark taking the Ice Cream pint for himself, LOL
So proud of it aswell lmao
I mean he was a pretty terrible roommate, stealing other roommate leftovers etc
Entrepreneur: *shows ice cream holder
Daniel: "Jordan, You are solving a HUGE need"
And that container wont let the ice cream melt for 8 hours isnt a huge need ?
Daymond needs to learn to hush when he’s out. He talks more than the sharks actually giving offers and it’s annoying
Barbara: I love ice cream, I love traveling, I love picnics, I eat 12 pints of ice cream per day.
Every time I eat ice cream, I immediately get nostalgic of the times when I was a little girl and it gives me such a warm fuzzy feeling inside. I think this is the best pitch that has EVER set foot in the tank and I LOVE YOU. For those reasons, I’m out
😂😂😂 she’s not even here
I’m dead this is hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Mark enjoyed the flame-thrower a little too much
Daymond is the new Barbara
he's worse
At this point he is just annoying and making cliche “jokes” 🙄😑
I hope everyone is enjoying their lunch! 😁
Lamest comment on these vids.
Totally 😁
It’s 7 pm here
@pickles5342 3 am here
hope you enjoyed yours too
I really hate the way all the sharks conducted themselves during this pitch. All they did was stress the poor guy out and put pressure on him for no reason. I think he would’ve been better off just walking away and going to a bank.
Legend has Daniel still tries to make him an offer he can't refuse.
Dude was overwhelmed, still managed to do business though
Respect to the guy
There should be a rule, wait for all sharks to make an offer first, then counter if need be, then make a decision
They're sharks for a reason. But I get you.
I felt bad for Daniel man 😭
Why do people feel bad for the sharks lmao
It's his fault. Just say the damn deal. Don't ask wait or permission.
"How do you do fellow kids?" With that title 💀
Its so cringe 😂😂😂😂
Lori was about to do 15% at the end. Bro got nervous that she’ll say she’s out.
Daniel is definitely going to create a competing product. This guy went in for Mark and/or Lori
There's something intriguing about this product; imagine having ice cream from that canteen. Even if your home were to burn down to ashes, you could still indulge in a joy of eating ice cream.
I don't think a lot of people understand how incredibly stressful and intimidating being on Shark Tank must be. There is a lot of empathy lacking in these comments. I'd like to see you all up there and see how you feel, respond, and perform. I can only imagine how difficult it must be. Especially after being bullied and continuously targeted by Damond or however you spell his name.
This guy has twice the help and twice the power. Not bad at all. It’s a win win!!!
At the end of the show Mark Cuban ate the icecream, only to find out there was a note at the bottom saying:
"im out ~ Barbara"❤
I remember when this aired and how quickly knock offs started popping up. They had more and better sales on amazon than the originator.
Poor guy was so nervous he didn't know how to handle these people 😄
this video showed more of how Daniel dealt with the other sharks than the entrepreneur. only time will tell if the entrepreneur made the wrong move.
I really believe that Daniel was going to ask for around the same at 30 to 20 percent. Because if he was going to offer less he couldve just shouted out. But he probably was going to offer the same he just wanted to have time to explain why he was offering that amount.
Agreed he's not shy about giving sharky offers. He would've gave him the whole "its based on the amount of work my team has to put in" spiel
Seriously, command the room and way your offer in 5 seconds or less.
Daymond at the end smashing his notebook lol. Evaluation crushed!
Disrespected Daniel heavily.
Mark and Lori will always be there. Its a game of poker, Daniel would have agreed to 100 for 10%. I know hes not as strong and Lori + Mark but respect his offer
Daniel is a billionaire right
@@champagne77yea he is
He shouldn’t have took the deal, I feel like he should’ve listened to what dude had to say who owns a ice cream company. 💯And then make his decision.
I think he did the right thing. In my opinion, Lori is the best shark when it comes to retailing and he even got Mark joining in. The valuation is quite low but they can help him for sure.
This is why you need a negotiator, not all inventor can be a negotiator.
This is mark tank. No one can take the deal when mark makes an offer. this is not competitive anymore. one sided game baby
The moment Laurie said "you know what?" he knew she was going to say "I'm out" so he immediately accepted the offer.. 😂
This guy did an excellent job under immense pressure. Bravo!! 👏🏼
I can't believe Daniel said this product is solving a "huge need" LOL.
Huge relative to this product; I can see this simple product reducing food waste
@@ShubyDuan How would it reduce food waste? This product is just a small cooler.
@@JulianJohnston919 we’ve thrown away melted ice cream on trips and just bought more. These kinds of situations
@@ShubyDuan Ah ok, my family and I just go to the ice cream shops when on vacation, but I see what your saying, some folks really love ice cream and probably want to travel with it.
@@JulianJohnston919 absolutely!
Damon has some shady deals according to several that have been in business with him.
That might be the most simple deal Kevin has ever invented
It's either he already wanted to make a deal with Mark and Lori even before entering the tank OR he was bullied into submission.
When Daymond said “you know daniel owns an ice cream company” i would have dropped Lori and Mark so fast.
But technically Lori also owns an ice cream company called Frozen Farmer, she invested in it.
There should be a rule where they all have to give their offers first. I think in Dragon's Den this sort of thing happens way less often. It's kind of etiquette that everyone gives the offer and then they negotiate
lol. Real life's got no rules. It's their money they can do whatever they want, this guy just couldn't handle the pressure
Now we will never know what he was about to offer 😂🤦♂️
What a simple yet awesome product
daymond eating the ice cream and being so chill was jokes lol
It is literally been done 1000 times for our drink bottles why the fluff has no one thought of this before 😂
I don’t understand why Daymond took the equity so personally. He did what any other entrepreneur on the show would do
He takes it personally because he thinks 5% of company is slap in the face unless they have a huge amount of sales and traction, they are trying to pitch an item to an investor to get money from them, their connections, their guidance, open doors to retailers that investor got into and has connections with and continued support etc and think that is only worth 5%. I understand his point, I know there is going to be negotiations but person pitching product needs to be reasonable like Daymond said, he didn't have a ton of sales, he just started and didn't have much traction. Pitcher needs to give fair value off those variables plus consideration of sharks expertise, guidance, doors they can open etc and add some percentage for that. If they just want money than get a loan at a bank, if you want a shark you pay more for them to help you thru the process of business, opening doors, getting distributors, teaching you how to potentially get costs down etc...that is way more valuable than the money in most cases.
I totally would use this because I travel to Portland once a year and they have an ice cream shop called salt and straw. I dreamed of taking the ice cream back home and now I can pack it in my luggage!!!
Interesting use case, but you can just get a couple of little bags of dry ice for a dollar or two. They last longer and can be used for more than 1 pint of ice cream. I guess the savings would start making sense after using this product for 20 years (if you're just using it once a year).
Every shark must hate Laurie, she does this EVERY time she wants something. She pressures these weak people into saying yes to her. It’s highly manipulative. Mark does it too, that’s why they both get the most deals lol
Literally every shark does this, what are you on about?
@@jeffazoconnor4589Kevin at least doesnt
That's why the show is called "Shark tank"
Respect to this guy. He saw the deal about to go away and accepted before it’s too late. Daniel should have offered way sooner so he could have made a decision based on which numbers were more favorable.
Woo! A ice cream canteen is an amazing idea! I'm an ice cream lover and my only concern would be the ice cream melting. Imma buy one now
This was far more exciting than i thought it was going to be. Damon hitting an imaginary fly on his side table is hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😁👍
I hope he succeeds I can see a lot of myself in him. Believing in the product but somehow not able to communicate it and filled with stage freight. Story of a lot of unheards who will never be heard.
super innovative idea, and credit to Jordan for inventing it
It’s literally just a standard insulated thermos but shaped like a pint of ice cream..
@@PilgoreSantos but different brand has diffrent shape how hes making to contain all of them
@@PilgoreSantosit is why has nobody done it before
Smh he should have at least heard Daniel's offer then wether he took it or not he could have still used it as leverage in countering Lori & Mark
Truly a product for very wealthy who want to take their pint ice cream to the beach and show off how great they are.
Its a great idea, needs to be refined to reduce cost
@@s2Capacidade2s or you could spend 50 bucks buying ice cream...LOL Don't need it.

@@warriormanmaxx8991 I'm sure plenty of the LGBTQUROEUARO group will be there trying to show off their garb and pints of ice cream.
I definitely would’ve listened to what Daniel had to say. Don’t let anyone bully you.
Watching this pitch is making me want to get some ice cream. Its a great product i love the demonstration, to me i like to listen to all offers before making a major decision.
That was a harsh and yet a nice problem to have and Daymond's speaking gave J. a pause to breathe.
I like how mark took the ice cream and tested it to make sure it was actual ice cream
i just love me some Mark, he's so genuine guy, funny, not a hater,, he's like a child lmaoo
Do people really eat that much ice cream on the go, in a single sitting?
Wow.
Its will be like a novelty item where everyone wants to have it in their for once in a while ocassion
its for family also for solo you take back that ice cream if not finish
daymond had me cracking up hahaha
actually need a half gallon version also for people who need to make a few more shopping stops before going home
Mark finally got his villain arch
The way people still sell instead of countering or taking the offer is mind blowing. lol.
That was a lot of pressure WOW❤❤❤❤
he handled this like a scared little child lol
You can also enjoy your ice cream inside a volcano
I get it's the shark tank so it's entertaining but I feel like he should of been allowed to hear all the deals ❤
I bought one of these when this episode came out and I took it to school and I was chillin
Yes, Mark and Lori have good businesses that compliment this one but he dug himself into the offer being timed. Daniel had wanted to speak and maybe he could have leveraged Daniels deal for a better negotiation with Mark and Lori. But it seemed he was too focused on hand.
Mark rober is watching like 👀 (iykyk)
I just noticed Mark's Shark socks. Cute
Refused to even listen to an offer from the one shark who actually owns an ice-cream company. Oh, he screwed up!
He should've listened to Daniel. They all come for Mark and ignore better options
That was a bar fight! 😂
This guy is genius
I knew this would sell from the beginning
We all wish we had this to take with us to work, school, picnics, etc.
Barbara was not even on this episode, but she is still out.
So much pressure and clearly this guy got flushered. At the same time nothing like having multiple sharks fighting over your business.
Daymond is currently being sued by Bubba.
He robbed and bankrupted Bubba's BBQ business and family.
Haha yup. You have no idea how business works
more likely, their business failed and now they are going after the deep pocket Daymond to recover some money LOL. What would Daymond have to gain by robbing an up and coming business with little sales when he is already worth millions? And why would they be litigating on youtube rather than the court room? Bubba and daughter are out for a money grab!
In india we have shark "Namita" who is exactly like barbara
that one was funny he didnt even want to listen to that one shark, everytime he tried to even make an offer the guy just turned around
even if he achieved success with mark and lori, I strongly believe that Daniel would have been a better shark for this category, and also he was so into the idea which means he knew how to make a tons of money from it
I guess I'll watch this while my dinner heats up in the air fryer
Woooow thermo cup. Never seen that before. I don't even know what thermo cup is. This is genius. Original and totally not useless.
