13:57 Fun fact: oyako in Japanese means parent and child so oyakodon means parent and child ricebowl The parent is the chicken and the children are the eggs lol
32:07 "But hey we can say we made it, and that's all that matters. No matter what the pain you go through when you get to the end you can say you made it!" - Jake, 2023 I actually needed that rn
The way I was crying through half of this It felt so bittersweet and the music and the peace of it all made me feel so sad I think there's something amazing about going on new adventures and falling in love with the world around you and feeling like a kid again it's truly truly beautiful to not only watch but to experience as well
I feel like I’ve never seen someone enjoy traveling somewhere as much as Tuonto. He fully soaked up every little detail and had so much appreciation for it all. It gave me such a refreshing feeling watching him talk about all the little things he loved about Japan
5 minutes whooo, *sobs quietly* still sad abt the fact that no more japan vlogs will be posted but what can we do, some things cant stay forever the same *cries*
After watching Tuonto`s vlogs i feel the MOTIVATION. Thank you so much for a chanse to feel something i probably will never feel in my own life. Also HUGE respect to the editor, he is freaking legend
I recently started genshin and you were the first genshin youtuber i found i love your videos and wanted to say thank you for the amazing content. Keep up the great work.

I'm planning to go to Japan with my Genshin friends too who I met three years ago (almost the time Genshin started) so I'm happy to look forward to it. Tysm for inspiration for both Genshin and Japan trip Tuonto💮
I wish my country had this much culture and architectural *prouesse*, like sure for tourists, where i live it seems like a place full of activities to do and discover, but when you live at the same place for years you start to loose that *i feel like a kid again* feeling. Thank you mr. Tuonto for the smiles and the vlogs. I would like to explore more but i feel like i'm stuck at the same place because of my unemployment and studies, i envy the friendship you have and the things you got to do, but i also learn from your experiences. Thank you!
your vlogs are so refreshing and interesting to watch i hope to see others in the future!Thank you for sharing your adventure in japan with us i have always wanted to visit this country and i hope i will :)

I love that when you make vlogs you're not just talking about what you did that day and showing clips. You talk about your thoughts and feelings, it's really nice lol especially as someone that's like a year younger than you i resonate with a lot of the things you say
bro, thank you SO much for documenting your stay at japan. it was so immersing watching your experiences, and feeling the wondrous culture elsewhere - something that’s nit here in the states… i’d love to visit japan one day and feel that in depth in person. also, i absolutely LOVE hiking too! seeing the views after going so far with my family and cousins last year was just so rewarding. dang, i felt the peace right here through your camera and it was amazing! thank you again, i’m just so thankful. i hope to visit japan someday :)
japan is one of those countries that i truly felt home in even thought i was not from the culture. walking down the allies of kyoto felt so homely, i arrived when people were walking home from work and i got to walk home alongside everyone and the sense of community felt so subtle yet immense. so glad you got to experience such beauty!!! if you have the economic possibility to move and want to, you should!
Jake! I've been loving your Japan vlogs! They're so peaceful and gentle and fun... making me want to go with my I like it lol. 32:11 “No matter what the pain you go through, when you get to the end you can say you made it” I rlly needed to hear that, thank you Jake 🤍

atsu’s fortune: “always be faithful”
well.. that aged like fine wine.
"Nihongo" = Japanese
"Jouzu" = skillful, good (at...)
So basically, "Nihongo jouzu!" translates to "your Japanese is very good!"
the editing... the music the monologue the yayoi kusama collab at the louis vuitton store this video is vibes
