It’s backstory is that it’s the tail end of a shrimp that no one wants to eat :( it also has a fried pork friend which is made up of the greasy part of battered pork that no one wants to eat, they’re from the sumikkogurashi line by San-x, the makers of all sorts of cute characters :)))
I distinctly remember seeing the crew walk by me and I stood there for a second before loudly going “OH SHIT THAT WAS ATSU-?” And I processed it for a good few minutes
