What I appreciate the most about Usher is that beneath his Pop star stage persona which often employs dazzling lights, special effects and lots of choreography, there lies a man who can actually SING. I've always felt people overlooked his vocal ability because the of the heavy focus on his dancing but he's one of the best vocalists in modern popular music. It's always great to see artists take things down a notch like this without all the whistles and bells because it shows their TRUE talent. I'm waiting to see some of these new-age R&B cats deliver vocals like this.

I had an opportunity to perform with him and be on stage while he sung live also got to watch him perform in a small room. And he's even more amazing in person. He kissed me on the cheek. Love this guy so much he's such a great person all together.
