Personally, the Black's use of the Dragons should have been "All or nothing." Either Rhaenyra commits all of her Dragons at once or hold them off and let the army handle it.

Disagree. Send squads of three out whilst both aegon and aemond are a factor, reduce the squads to two once one is out of the equation. And whilst aemond is alive at least one squad should have both daemon and rhaenys since only their dragons combined stand a chance at killing vhagar without casualties. The third dragon in that squad is to distract aegon.

If Rhaenys dispatches Sunfyre just like in the show, does that leave Meleys and Syrax vs Vhagar? Vhagar is strong, but she can’t exactly guard her rear and front at the same time. Aemond may have to flee. 🤔
nah vhagar first surprise attack would kill the dragon that is not entangled with aegon leaving it as a 1v1 so things should go the same way but maybe this time aegon and rhaenyra dies instead of melys and her rider
Honestly Daemon was kinda right, they really needed to take out Aemond and Vhagar at the very start of the war, when team black was at its full strength. As good as Vhagar is, I really don’t see her winning a 3v1 against Meleys, Caraxes and Syrax. I doubt Sunfyre showing up changes the outcome either, but I haven’t read Fire and Blood so I’m only going of the show, idk if Sunfyre is more capable in the book.

@@AniSwiftTVRecaps Think you’re underestimating how quick Meleys AND syrax would dispatch Sunfyre. In the show Sunfyre was able to temporarily get away from Meleys, that wouldn’t happen if he was against two dragons. Vhagar came much later than that.

There is no way Rhaenyra would have gone alone. She would have to fly with Rhaenys and Baela. The real question is, could they win the 3v1 against Vhaegar or a 3v2
if its the show version I reckon they could kill Sunfyre before Vhaegar could jump in TBH which then i could see Baela dying and Syrax possibly being crippled with Vhaegar ultimately dying
Rhaenys would've definitely gone with her, Jace and Baela can defend D.Stone. Aemond held back only because he saw Sunfyre, but he didn't know that the Black sent 2 dragons (in this scenario). Rhaenyra n Rhaenys would've taken care of Sunfyre/Aegon before Aemond could take flight.

aemon goes to the castle on vhagar and sees the mighty arrax loaming in the court yard, it shrieks and although small its roar seemed to crack the sky. lucerys enters the castle "uncle I see your doing well but its your lucky day as I have come as a messenger"
aemon "I see nephew but u dont belong here, run back to your mother"
lucerys begins walking away when his uncle says "I hope u can find your way home its hard to see in such a strong storm"
everyone begins laughing at the crown prince but he kept his anger hidden and left.
The next day after the storm passed aemon makes his way to kings landing with the good news but every time the wind blows vhagar seems agitated and more wild like she senses something but the prince calms her down unaware of the loaming threat. something suddenly crashed into vhagar head from above shooting flames but the she-dragon long accustomed to fighting turned just in time for the fire to miss her rider.
"I will bring my mother your head traitor" lucrys shouted
"are u mad boy" aemon replied
both of them are princes but there was two differences aemon spent his life in luxury after claiming vhagar having everything he wanted since he had nothing to prove, but lucerys lost it all that day, he lost a fight where he had all the advantage, he lost the respect of his soon to be wife as he couldn't stand against the thief who stole her mother's dragon and everyone still called him the one eye'd bastard behind his back.
Aemon felt confusion, fear, yes he was terrified and all these emotions were leaking into vhagar while lucerys only felt one thing rage, arrax maneuvered around chagars claws tail whip and teeth masterfully but never attacked as to attack would mean death while fighting the mighty vhagar but lucerys wasn't aiming to kill vhagar, on one of the big dragons wild strike she left her rider open for a moment but even a slight slip up is fatal in a fight between dragons arrax flew up with all the strength he reserved from not attacking and boy and dragon screamed together as the jaws of arrax closed around aemons head and tore it clean off. the riderless dragon screamed and mourned for her rider and lucerys prepared to die as arrax had no strength left to runaway at the speed needed much less to fight, vhagar was far away but he looked into the boys one eye and they both roared however surprisingly the bigger dragon turned to go back to kings landing as lucerys returned to storms end and won the Baratheon to his mothers cause with fire and blood.

Not a chance Rhaenyra goes alone. Only way this happens is if she goes WITH Rhaenys as some protection if not they'd put her under house arrest lol. I actually think an interesting what if would be a black victory at rooks rest, let's say one of Rhaenyra or Jace decides to go after Rhaenys to help and joins the fight vs aegon

Can't see this scenario ending other way than a total victory for the Greens. As it is, Daemon no longer have a legitimate claim anymore either. In the show, the Riverlands were only begrudgling going along with Daemon because he was the King Consort and they previously declared to Rhaenyra. If she is no longer part of the equation, Daemon's rebellion kind of fizzles out.
Or he tries to strike out on his own. So the Riverlanders are now all forced to swear to him.
All Daemon would have to do is take out Jace and Joffrey (maybe he could find another blood and cheese), and he would be king consort regent until his son young Aegon came of age, his rightful heir anyway, and the Riverlords and other anti greenhouses would fall In line.
Not sure if this is on brand for your content, but would love to see a funny video of like... what if the dragons could talk. Maybe for an april fools video or something haha. Keep up the great work!

I think you made this a bit too contrived with Rhaenys not going with Rhaenyra. If Rhaenyra goes then Rhaenys absolutely goes as well. They wouldnt allow her to go by herself.

Would Syrax have really made that good a difference? I mean, like Sunfyre, Syrax has never know combat so I think Aegon and Sunfyre wouldnt have struggled that badly.
Tho if this is a "Rhaenyra went with Rhaenys issue" then Sunfyre and maybe Aegon would be dead cuz while yes Syrax has no combat experience, Meleys being present would make up for it. In fact, Meleys was already bullying poor Sunfyre before Vhagar showed up so imagine if it were two dragons ganging up on poor Sunfyre. I think Sunfyre wouldve at least suffered worse injuries and maybe if theyre lucky, one of the dragons manages to snatch up Aegon from his saddle and kill him before Vhagar and Aemmond intervened, leading to Sunfyre's death and either Aegon's injuries or death. However, I still think Rhaenys and Meleys will still die as Rhaenys know Rhaenyra is top priority so she has Rhaenyra escape while she and Meleys buy her time, leading to their deaths.
Corlys would resent Rhaenyra for abandoning hisi wife, regardless if Rhaenyra explained to him that Rhaenys told her to leave, xuz even tho this is a war and thats something Rhaenys would do, thats still his wife and the guy is understandably devastated.

On the one hand, Aemmond is an insecure but strategic man. He knows fleeing while riding Vhagar and coming into the fight late will not look good on their allies. After all, only reason he left during Red Sowing was because there were three dragons, one of which was Vermithor, who's roughly Vhagar's size. Meanwhile Meleys and Syrax are both smaller compared to Vhagar. Also, the only people there were Rhae, Hugh and Adam, no one else to spread news that Aemmond ran off like a coward. Plus, Syrax and Meleys' battle experience is small compared to Vhagar's.
On the otherhand, yeah, Vhagar's old and there's only one of her and two of the Blacks. She's not as sharp or fast as she was back in her prime, even if she could still keep up with a young dragon like Arrax. Also, Syrax and Meleys could use their size and numbers to their advantage. One to distract Vhagar, another to try and get Aemmond.
@@ifeeldead463 Aegon and Sunfyre wouldn’t stand a chance against two. Meleys was faster than Syrax so she’d engage from the front. Syrax would eventually catch up and burn Aegon from the back. While Syrax has limited experience, she is still capable of breathing fire. Rhaenyra is good at riding and has 25 years of experience. A lot more than Aemond and Aegon. That said, few dragons have ever been to war. No dragon alive has ever fought another dragon (aside from the cannibal perhaps).
It would then be a 2v1 against Vhagar where she’d die and take one of the dragons with her. Whoever attacks Vhagar from the front would die.

Not sure if Rhaenyra told Jace this but with her died, Daemon is the only one left that knows about the POIAF secret.
There’s a lot of stuff happening here, and Baela disowning Daemon is what I expected, but now with Daemon only one to know POIAF and Aegon-III being too young to hear about it.
And Daemon survival being in doubt.
Alicent is left knowing that No knows about it, so how’s that guilt going to effect her?
Well in canon Rhaenyra did actually tell Jace about the song of ice and fire before the battle of Rooks Rest got underway in episode four. So honestly it’s very likely that Rhaenyra tells him the prophecy before she leaves for battle and it slipped my mind when I made this but I could definitely see being told the prophecy and his mother dying soon after having ramifications with Jace. Beyond that though when it comes to Alicent, I don’t see her having much guilt about people not knowing the prophecy if that’s what you’re asking. She’ll feel more guilty about Rhaenyra’s death than anything and probably begin to think that the dream was pointless. She already believed at this point that people were going to fight and die for what they believed no matter what Viserys wanted or some dream she only recently learned about. Rhaenyra’s death would probably just fuel the idea that it was pointless or maybe that Rhaenyra was wrong this whole time. Either way while we did see how the knowledge of the story affected her I doubt it’d weigh as heavily on her as it would the Targaryens.
Syrax was a fat lazy dragon who died to peasents. She dies either way

yeah i mainly thought of it because of Jon’s reaction to Dany turning on Kings landing, thinking of Jon running to Rhaegal and having to possibly fight Dany on Drogon (and people love Drogon but Rhaegal has better dragon to dragon feats and i feel it could go either way whereas most would think Dany and Drogon would dominate) or that situation doesnt even happen at all because Rhaegal isnt dead so Dany isnt as unstable but maybe a conflict happens in the future and a mini “dance of dragons” happens with Jon being the one that comes out in top because people flock to him over Dany because of her approach to ruling and Jons reputation
just an idea that could go many ways; going the long route and extend the story or keep it to a few days - weeks, theres alot of possibilities… i just love the videos and really enjoy how he goes about his theories

Rhaenys grew up in peacetime and had never fought on dragonback before Rook's Rest. Unless we're counting her massacre of hundreds of civilians unnecessarily at the coronation... but she'd never been in a real fight. Her line to Meleys that ep was not accurate, because they'd never gone to battle before this. The only advantage she really has is more time having been a dragonrider than Aegon and Aemond, but Vhagar had seen countless battles, and this and her size ensured Meleys, fresh to battle and smaller, had no chance.

What if Viseyrs never got sick?
The big problems facing Jace is that most of the Black supporters were due to the oaths sworn to Rhaenrya. No one swore any oaths to Jace. Plus he is a bastard. The Velaryons will support him because of Baela but even that may become shaky because of Addam. I can see Corlys after talking to Alyn going to Jace and demanding that Addam be freed or he abandons the cause. Cregan might support him. Lady Jeyne however will probably bend the knee to Aegon (she was already having second thoughts when Rhaenrya did not send her an adult dragon).
The Greens are riding high. They have taken out two of the Black Dragons while all of theirs are still in the field. Without the Dragonseeds the Blacks have no way of matching Vhagar. Vhagar can swat Moondancer and Vermax like flies. Rhaenys and Melys are the Jace's only hope and Aemond would know that. I can see him attacking Driftmark forcing Rhaenys to face him one on one. If Rhaenys is killed then Jace and Baela are reduced to nuisance status and the Greens can focus all their attention on Daemon.

It was peaceful the only main issue are his own children whom drove him in the brink of insanity, and also Jaehaerys being a terrible father.
Imagine that with Male Rhaenyra and his consort either from Alicent or Laena.
I know Laena is a perfect Match, but what i really looked forward to make more Drama, is that Male Rhaenyra would've choose Alicent would cause a Rift between House Targaryen & House Velaryon. Or maybe Daemon would've cease the throne to himself and disappointed in his own nephew to choose Alicent. I think this either starts another War or Drama within the Family. Where a Dragons of Black & Red.

I think Daemon would kill Jace (or atleast heavily undermine him) and try to claim that he's the true heir. I think if Daemon was to actually be successful in capturing the iron throne he would be swiftly betrayed and killed. No one likes Daemon, he's an awful ruler with no redeemable traits, his cruelty is well known and he's obviously selfish and deranged. The suspicions people had of him when it came to his jealousy and ambitions with respect to Visery and Rhaenyra's crown would now be confirmed. Even if people swear to serve him, behind closed doors they will despise him and covertly undermine his efforts. He is a destroyer and he would be held in same light as Maegor but without the reputation of glory. The strings that hold the seven kingdoms together would snap and his rule would implode.
I think the Daemon still gets his Weirwood dream only the throne is being used by man he doesn’t recognize, and a younger man at his side as hand. Aegon Dragonsbane and Viserys II. It would probably reinforce his desire to be king knowing it will be his sons who will be victorious even if he may die.

This is interesting though in the show and this both she & Rhaenys should have gone. Remember they were closer to Dragonstone then Kingslanding so by the time info got back both their best Dragons were gone the battle would be done, with of course this actually becomes a 2v2 King vs Queen, Champion vs Champion.

I also believe Jace would still die in the gullet as now it would be Vermax Moondancer and Meleys. Which if that happens the blacks are cooked and then it would be meleys and moondancer vs Caraxes vs tessarion Vhagar and Sunfyre. Which I think Viserys would still be taken to lys and presumed dead. And Joffrey and aegon would land in dragonstone. Meaning daemon would probably fly to Dragonstone to get his son aegon back and either face off against Baela and rhaenys or they would bend the knee to him. Meaning it would be Caraxes moon dancer and Meleys vs Vhagar Sunfyre and tessarion. And sunfyre beats moondancer. Tessarion while my favorite dragon gets cooked by meleys and we all know how Caraxes Vhagar would go. So daemon would sit the throne. With Aegon following him. Joffrey would probably be sent to the wall. Adam I presume would probably be smuggled out by Corlys and still be alive. Until Daemon probably kills him to make sure Joffreys claim can’t be pushed. And knowing Daemon Baela or Rhaena or both 🤢 would be his new queens

I think if Rhaenyra dies, shit is going down the fan. Daemon would leave Harrenhal with or without the riverlords support to seek revenge. Daemon is more snake than dragon, is a quote from the books, and its the same in the show.
Since Vhagar and Sunfyre are to much for him alone. He would probably fly south. Gather the black supporters in the reach and make a surprise attack on oldtown. Taking Tessarion out with Caraxes would be easy peasy. And House Tarly and Beesbury would be able to counter the hightower forces, until Tessarion is dead and Daemon can burn Oldtown to the ground. Might be bad for publicity, but the greens would have only two dragons at their back, sonve Helaena is to traumatized and any real support of the reach would be gone with house hightower anihilated, House Tyrell staying neutral and an angry Daemon there.
You forget meleys gad no war experience its just everyone trying to put her with the likes of vhagar,caraxes and virmithor ,she was just old enough to bully sunfyre 😂😂😂 and thats what i think syrax does too😂😂

sorry but syrax is twice the size of sunfire and size really does matter a lot in a dragon battle which means if Aemond holds back like he did before Aegon gets killed by the duo and if he takes the field they likely retreat or try their damnedest to kill Aemond while avoiding Vhagar.
Not in the show, and even in the book, Syrax is lazy and fat, while Sunfyre is essentially built for war.

also i guess i should clarify the duo i spoke of was Syrax and Malays killing of Aegon quickly and either killing Aemond or scaring him off should he hold back and let Aegon die.

What happens if alicent and Helena with dreamfyre defect to dragonstone?
Didn’t the show runers say there would be two battle in the season right before airing. Then they ether just straight up lied or even worse they tricked up and had the battle of the burning mill or battle at dusken dale (which they did not show) be the other battle
The better match would be syrax vs sunfyre since both aegon and rhaenyra and their dragons have 0 battle experience at most the big advantage rhaenyra has over aegon is that she is a more experienced dragon rider she has been riding since she was 7 years old. Syrax would most likely win than she and meleys could tag team vhagar.
I mean Sunfyre is described as “Huge and Heavy” and a “formidable fighter”
Aegon was fairly young himself when he claimed him with the oldest possible date being when he was 13 and his bond with Sunfyre was supposedly one of the strongest in history.

If we’re going off feats and descriptions, I’m taking Sunfyre in that fight since Syrax goes it’s entire life as far as we know without seeing a battle.
@@brendan9868this ignores that Moondancer is a dragon lighter than a horse and Grey Ghost size is completely unknown, but knowing that a wild Sheepstealer was chased off by Seasmoke GG likely was just a bit larger than Arrax or Moondancer. Syrax and Sunfyre would likely just kill each other like most dragons fights within similar sized dragons go.

And yeah Moondancer was small while Grey Ghost is a question mark, I would assume GG was a bit smaller than Sheepstealer, but bigger point here is that he has combat feats while syrax doesn’t and that he managed the two while really only having 1 working wing, which is kinda bizarre if you think about it.
I would have much rather watched your version of the story play out in season 2

Hypothetically, the cannibal has more experience than meleys because of all the dragons he's killed and eaten. Aegon would probably straight-up die but so will rhaenrya and the dragon since vhagar has more experience and is larger at that point. So both Aegon and rhaenyra would die. Which would be straight up chaos 😂
