    When I re did my bathroom after my last move I painted the walls periwinkle and used a glitter top coat to make my walls sparkly. It’s awesome. But I just bought 2 cans at Home Depot and called it a day. In case anyone doesn’t want to mix their own/trust themselves to ☺️ who doesn’t love a sparkly wall?

    I am becoming an expert on how to remove it after a tenant decided to do this. Requires the use of a grinder with 80 grit sand paper. Then skim coating with drywall compound. And finally reapplying the original texture to the wall by using more drywall compound. And the tenant has to pay for the damages.

    Hi! Just wondering how this wall lasted long term? Did it flake pretty quickly / at all? :)

    I am thinking of doing a wall in my little girl's room like this. Did you have any problems with it flaking or rubbing off when you touch it?

  • @Michellevo83

      Missy Ortiz not at all. The glitter is still intact and it’s been a couple of years.

    I did this over a Mulberry painted wall and it came out horrible. I used GLOSS Mod Podge and glitter. It DID NOT dry clear. White and milky. Huge waste of time and money and now I need to repaint over it. Unless your wall is white or very light do not expect good results.

    • @a13x4
      @a13x4 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Angela B I don't think the gloss podge would dry clear..

      Oooooo dang! Ya my only experience was on this light yellow wall and it’s still yellow, just lighter and full of glitter. Thank you for letting everyone know. ❤️
