The fact that you took the time out to look at the minutes and seconds exactly at the point that I “ghetto smacked” THEN took the time out to come announce the time and your disgust in the comments 🙌🏽 you have no idea what this means to me 🙏🏽thank you
I’m using this technique! Thanks for the tutorial. I’m actually making a huge canvas glitter wall so that I can travel with it. Plus, some hot water and few blasts from a heat gun means I can remove the glitter and redo the color in the future if I want 💛💛💛
Warning: I did this and it DOES NOT come off, I grew out of the glitter I’ve had it for 3-4 years and I can not get it off. Someone PLEASE come out with a video on how to GET IT OFF!
Hey Netta! I realize it's been 2 years since posting this video (the wall came out great btw) but have you noticed any con's to using Mod Podge on the wall?
So cool! I was thinking about doing this same technique with a wine bottle. I didn’t know Mod Podge had a gloss one. This turned out sooo nice! I love it! So sparky and glam 😍 you made it look easy. Great idea to mix 2 different kinds of glitter.
Omg I tried spray paint glitter on the wall, too botchy, then I tried the paint and then added glitter additives AWFUL! Then I saw your video! You saved my palm tree on my wall with this way. Thank You!!
Omg I want ! One question I have is did u have an issue with glitter all over ur floors and ur salon after???? I love this but don’t want glitter all over my house forever
It took me 4 hours then I spot checked the next day so I’ll say 5 hours. I used just under 2 of each glitters for the whole wall and final cost was just under $60
Great job! I love how real you were about needing to sit down. Lol. But how is your wall looking/doing now after some time's passed? In a salon, I can only imagine somebody's bae-bae kids picking some glitter off. Also considering the high/low temperatures there.
Thank you. It looks exactly the same. No one touches it. My AC also was out last August for 5 days since the AC company wasn’t immediately available to install a new unit and it looks exactly the same
My wife and I would like to do this for our girls rooms. Does it lay completely flat on the wall? We are afraid of our girls picking at it. Also if you paint your wall a darker color before putting on white or silver gitter, does the color of the paint show through? Also does this work with a paint roller? Faster?
It leaves a lot of streaks I think I would go for a few rolls of glitter paper. And my lounge would be a mess if I was loose with glue and glitter to put on walls. How the hell would you get it off?
+Yvonne Smith-Oliver 2 coats and a spot check. And no only issue I have is I should've done everything up and down to be consistent since I can tell where I switched stroke direction
That ghetto smack at 4:34🤦♀️ i was done watching after that

That was shady... just stop watching...TF!!
That also made my day 🙌🏽 thank you
@@IamNettaMonroeStylez you did a good job!!
Thank you so much

Nice job! I wonder how this would hold up on a bathroom wall (worried about the humidity messing it up over time 🤔 )
Hi very beautiful love . Tou painted your wall first then dryed it then went back to add glitter ..im trying to do my wall gliteer as well
thank you so much omg I'm a glitter fanatic so this will be f=perfect for my fairy room renovation I'm doing
Very beautiful finish!!!!
Beautiful thank you 😍🙏

I’m pretty sure you have to sand it off with sandpaper.
sand it off or just repaint over it
Was wondering how they would do that once they wanted to change it🤷🏾
Its been five years. Tell us, did you ever manage to get it off??

I laughed way too hard at "I got this big ass mod podge" lol. Very beautiful. Thank you.

No problem

How long did it take you? How many bottles of each glitter did you use? Do you know about how much you final cost was?

Does it dry like that .......all streaky and uneven?
Got me over here like a damn smurf "OOOOOOHHHH - AHHHHHHH" (lol) I would love to do this in my baby girls room.
how many layers was done to the top .. it looks WONDERFUL . Thanks for the video . so Easy peasy
I did 3 coats and a spot check in total. Use wall paper as a base because it would have to be sanded off
Does this work great and will it stay?

Where can I get a few rolls of glitter paper from?
@@tiaraharris3669 AliExpress has some fab glitter paper at great prices
I’ve used glitter wall paper and it doesn’t glitter anything like you would want it too so don’t waste your time and money ☹️
@@belindamcleod9241 Thanks. It would gather a lot of dust I imagine too
You'd have to sand it completely off ... I don't have time to commit to that lol
This wall looks absolutely amazing😍 when your talking about modge podge is this PVA? Xx
from 1:44 to 1:49 i thought she was bout to say “very very expensive “ i was bout to click out this videos so fast 😭😭.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@IamNettaMonroeStylez where can I buy the glitter and the mod pod from?
Tiara Harris Micheals
Glitter!!!! 😍 This is such a cute idea. Does it seem to be holding up nicely?
Big ass mod podge made this English Lady chuckle. I love your method but feel a mini roller may have been easier.
I wish I would’ve thought of the mini roller 🤦🏽♀️ Omg
That is a huge mod bottle!! Lol you did such a great job. It's so pretty
Where can I get the glitter and the mod pod from?
Omf this is awesome! Big ass modge podge.
This is EXACTLY what I am looking for in my micro salon. Thank you for sharing!
Use wall paper as a liner first!!! Thanks for watching
Where that I could buy this freaking thing...awesome
Big ass mod podge! Lmao!!! Such a cool idea! Nice tutorial!
Love your video, you did an amazing job hun. Thank you no I know what I need to do p.s you have me cracking up @ I'm tired of f**king standing up
Did you use the whole gallon of mid podge
A little more than half of the gallon on this wall
Such a cool idea!
Girl yess!!!! I'm going o try this
That’s too cute!
thank you!!!
Can You Wash It Of Your Walls
My question.... how do you take it down? 😭
Pfffft remove the wall. Biggest mistake I have ever made.
Chloe Densham Woww.
It’s not meant to be taken down
Definitely a roller.
I am so nervous to try this bc I couldn’t find a large quantity of thick heavy glitter ✨
Girl u too funny 😂
Loved it
She is sitting in a chair because she f***ing tired?! Omgosh lol
Did u have an issue with the glitter looking blotchy on the walls? And how many coats did u do?
+Yvonne Smith-Oliver 2 coats and a spot check. And no only issue I have is I should've done everything up and down to be consistent since I can tell where I switched stroke direction
Bloop to bloop 😂😂
I want to do my walls but my question is how do you can it off? Or do you paint over it ?
Someone suggested using wallpaper first in the comments
Use a dry glitter gun easier and less glitter used Roll the glue on and spray the glitter
How would you get that off when you wanted it off x
Probably would have to be sanded down. I wouldn’t suggest this if it will get removed later
Best option would probably be to put wallpaper lining on first. Makes it slightly more expensive but not as bad as glitter wallpaper is
Great idea! I might do it in my house now ! I knew that in the salon I wasn’t going to change it but at home was a different story
yes!!!! i'm next!
I just use glue and glitter
This is glue and glitter some people add glitter into the paint but I find it masks the glitter
How would you take this off? Is it renter friendly?
No. It's definitely not renter friendly. You could scrape the wall, but don't you know? Glitter is forever😍😅
Wow why can't they get straight to the point my god
Any one notice on the bottle the pubic "looking" hair from 1:48- 1:52. LOL. Great vid, . Thanks for help
Thank you! I love your tutorial!
Who doesn't have a spoon? 😞
Woo lord the internet.... this is a hair salon and not a restaurant.
Mod podge not modge podge!!!!!!!!!
Girl calm down
😣 didn't mean to convey a rude tone! I was just saying
I hate exclamation marks for this reason .
Hahahaaaa
Shut up Karen
I do not care for all the bad language
Mute it
What a mess
What a simp
How would you get it off? It is renter friendly?
If you’re renting or not sure you’ll want it forever definitely line with wall paper
