Also, they're a bit more expensive but prelit trees are a total game-changer. My partner and I are all celebrating Christmas in our first home this year and honestly, the permit tree is the best thing we’ve bought for the season!

Your tree looks amazing!! If you want, the bulbs you got in the large plastic container , can be decorated. You can add glitter, beads, ribbon, etc. The sky is the limit. The lights look fine. You may want to keep some toys for Pinky by the tree. You can divert her attention quickly if she gets into the tree. Your tree box (skirt) looks great!!
This year will be our first ever artificial tree. We are putting up a 8’ tree tomorrow. I live in Oregon, so we have always gotten a real tree. This is the latest we have put our tree up.

A bit too late now, but a trick for next year - group your colored ornaments in three’s together. Mix the different colors and textures, too. You can use pipe cleaners, string (similar to what came with them), or even bread ties. You loop them through the ornament “cap” to form a grouping of three ornaments. Then position the group to “sit” on the branches (be sure to bend/maneuver the branches so they don’t fall).
Looks really pretty when you’ve done this all throughout your tree and gives a fuller more decorated look! ☺️🎄 Pinky looks adorable and I love your little dance session with her to the Christmas music! 🥰

Very nice tree! We also have a faux tree. Usually I use thick, wired ribbon as "garland" to hide bare spots and also suggest adding more than one type of light strand. (Have a white prelit tree that we add multi-color twinkle lights with multiple functions.) Hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas season! 🎄💕🐕
We have a half artificial tree, it’s PERFECT goes right up against the wall and only have to decorate the front, loads easier hahaha x

I'm so glad I found his channel, I used to follow you a couple of years ago but as I basically hardly ever wear makeup I drifted away. I love that I can follow your vlogs and on the odd occasion I might wear some makeup pop to your other channel for inspiration. Soph me and my mates have a tradition we started about 12 years ago. We don’t get gifts we get each other a decoration. It’s ace got loads of really different unusual ones and we try and buy each other ones that suit our personality. After so many years got a big collection so no cheap generic bauble room left it’s a great way to keep to a budget with friend pressies and every year you get them out and remember the party you gave them at or the places you went to hunt for the good ones, takes a few years to get going but the best thing in the long run. Just make sure you really like your colour story lol 🥳

We always use pine cones for the bulk of the tree decs, they look great and go with any colour scheme. We always get a new ornament or 2 every yr to symbolise an even that year, something we love or the date. Oddly, most of them have come from Wilko's and some from Primark. Garden centres are good too xoxo

The best place are Garden centres! I have gone to 2 different ones and got most of my baubles from there, they have so many cute ones!! And loads of different themes like glass; coloured ones... good luck! Your tree looks fab now and you 3 are the cutest!!! Happy Christmas in your new home 😁

We go a real tree for our first Christmas in our new home, as a family a real tree smells amazing, feels more Christmasy
Tip for Christmas trees: as you’re putting it together fan out each branch then do the second layer and also put the lights on in an up and down way (if that makes sense) so it looks fuller but I love your tree!!🥺🎄

Two little tips is pushing the lights further into the tree so that the wires are hidden more and also for the star at the top if you bend the top branch in half it gives you a strong base to hold it up in place, but have to say I think it looks great!!

We had real and fake trees growing up. I love going to get real trees but my husband hates the clean up so we decided we'll buy one every year and set it up outside and decorate it with edibles that are safe for birds and wildlife. And I'm so excited!

I was like you soph didn't have many baubles for our first Christmas tree. A few years ago And now I just buy the individual nice ones each year and add to my tree although I now have too many 😂. Your tree looks lovely and you can get different tree lights and beads for your tree next year. When things are better

You should try looking in Home Bargains for decorations, they have some really nice options and at a reasonable price as well. I've also seen some really cute individual baubles on Etsy, most of them have been handmade by small businesses. ❤️

We used to put tree ribbon wrapped around our tree instead of beads/tinsel!
If you like wooden/fabric decs morrisons or tesco have some pretty ones, your tree looks gorgeous and you are the most comforting and real family ever so cute

I don’t like tinsel either, we use really wide ribbon and wrap it round in a spiral like tinsel, it looks so nice but I love you candy canes and everything! ❤️ x
