Most years my parents argued about the real Christmas tree so eventually they settled for a fake tree and haven't argued about a trees since 😂

I’m a healthcare worker in the US, so this has been a very tough year to say the least, and these vlogs make me feel so happy & cozy, and give me some Christmas cheer.
You are not alone, we fought about the tree last year, whether or not we should get it that day, where to get it from, what size, where to eat, leave it in the car or take it out in the rain, putting it up. I looked back at my vlogmas from last year and seeing that day stresses me out and makes me nervous for when we get it this year.
Just ideas for things to do for everyone stuck at home during December:
• Bake some Christmassy food
• Walks/ Drives to see local Christmas lights
• Get involved donating/ with charities
• Making a Christmas Eve box for a loved one
• Host a zoom call Christmas party/ quiz
• Movie nights
• Games nights
• Christmas wreath making competition
• Hot chocolate & marshmallow night around a bonfire
• Winter photo shoots
• Countryside walks
• Make essential gift bag for the homeless
• Festive karaoke night
• Make a playlist of your favourite festive songs
• Do a Christmas scavenger hunt/ who stole Christmas?

I have to say it’s so refreshing to hear you all talk about the more stressful part of holidays haha. Things like picking the tree are so festive and wonderful but can be quite stressful, especially with a big fam. It’s really revealing to hear the reasons why “oh we weren’t feeling up to going” if that makes sense. Very humanizing 👍

Thank you for your effort and time! It's NOT Christmas without Zoe! My father is one of 13 children and growing up my Christmas' were so magical with our MASSIVE family. Cousins, cousins, cousins everywhere and fabulous food.

There’s something very refreshing about hearing about you all argue, as it’s obviously not something we ever see. I can reassure you, it’s ABSOLUTELY so normal!!!
My husband and I are now on this "flocked tree" kick which are the ones that look completely white/snowy but are still real trees. I didn't realize until our first one that they don't drop needles and they don't need to be watered. I'm kinda obsessed! Plus they look so retro. ❄️

I always put my tree on a Tupperware lid from a bin and the cover it with a tree skirt and it makes it easy to move your tree in and out for lights
It is not just you. We found our tree so easily and quickly. It was amazing! Then, we found out it was a way more expensive tree and it went downhill from there. We argued on the way home and half-heartedly decorated. I agree that the pressure to be perfect and 100% enjoyable curses it.

We buy our tree at Costco -- a big warehouse store! They're already wrapped up so you don't really get to choose -- but they've always been GREAT trees.
Can I just say, even though you guys can’t do as much this year and could have easily canned vlogmas all together (which I was expecting tbh), you’ve still gone ahead and done it and are giving us something consistent to look forward to each day which is what everybody definitely needs this year. And it’s giving everyone a bit of normalcy in these weird af times and I love that and I’m always so keen to watch it everyday so thank you so much! 🙌🏻💝

I can totally get the arguments but for us it’s the whole thing about putting the decs up not just the tree! It’s the going in the loft getting them down and putting normal stuff away. Yesterday we couldn’t find the lights, no idea where they are , had to go out and get some and for me they’re the worst part of the whole thing! But tbh I was determined to enjoy the process this year after all the horrible stuff that’s been happening! So no falling out and everything looks festive!🌈❤️🎄

So i'm horrible at commenting on youtube videos and its doubtful you will even see this but i just wanted to say that i'm really happy you are doing vlogmas this year, even if it isn't your "normal" December activities. This year has been so horrible for my anxiety and all of my normal holiday plans have been cancelled so it is nice to have something normal to look forward to!
Me and my family always get a real tree every Christmas too & this year we got a 12 foot tree! I love it ❤️🎄
I love all of zoe's ornaments, in my house we always go for regular bubbles but she has such a wide variety of styles and designs and I love it so much!! It looks amazing 🤩🤩

The Christmas tree stress is probably all families things. I was traumatized as a kid because of it, so as an adult I have a huge fake tree that is pre-lit. You just prop it up, fluff, and have fun adding ornaments. It’s stress free and much more fun!
