I'm promoting this release at the request of my colleague Allan Deivity dos Santos (_MrRob0TxXx_), who was responsible for directing this work with the participation of several people. Without a doubt, this is another excellent dubbing job, one of the best on the Brazilian scene to date. A job done in record time (it took 2 months), which brought together skilful people willing to give up their free time without expecting any kind of financial return. We hope you enjoy it. Resident Evil 2, known in Japan as Biohazard 2 (バイオハザード2, Baiohazādo Tsū?) is an electronic survival horror game originally released for the PlayStation in 1998. Developed by Capcom as the second title in the Resident Evil series, its story takes place two months after the events of the first game. It is set in Raccoon City, an American community whose residents have been turned into zombies by the T-virus, a biological weapon developed by the pharmaceutical company Umbrella Corporation. On their escape from the city, the two protagonists, Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, meet up with other survivors and are confronted by William Birkin, the creator of an even more powerful virus called the G-virus, which he has injected into himself.
Dubbing of the two PSX game CDs into Brazilian Portuguese, this project has nothing to do with the dubbing project started by another team previously. Some people will probably notice differences in the subtitles compared to the dubbing, we know that and we don't see it as a problem. We chose to allow the dubbing team to alter the script as long as it didn't change the meaning of the text, a forbidden sale, made by fans for fans.
