The Hebrew gives the sense that Satan "set his heart" on Job. He directed his mind to Job. That's far more than some kind of casual observance of somebody. It's more along the lines of, "... your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." (1Pe 5:8) Really, the idea that Satan and his demons would NOT be watching mankind is foreign to the Bible! The problem is when people run with that reality to unhealthy extremes and let the enemy get a victory by focusing so much on him that they lose sight of Jesus!
Acts 16:16 was a spirit of divination (familiar spirit). Like the spirit king Saul tried to seek when he went to see the witch of Endor to speak to the late Samuel.
The spirit of divination is a monitoring spirit. All believers carry things from their past and from ancestors that are demonic. Fear is a sin, and a major one. Ask Peter why Jesus had to cast out Satan from him. Demonic spirits are part of the old man, and we'll still be part of that old life till we die.
Why do you call God a liar? do you ever study the bible in the Spirit of the Lord? Python is a little more than a myth, kid. A spirit of divination has to be a monitoring spirit. God called all gods as gods, but false god (not superior to Him). Doesn't His title, God of gods mean anything? why did Peter call Jesus God, then have to have Satan cast out? Where is trinity mentioned in the Bible? where is theocracy? Yet the descriptions are there for believers.
The spirit of divination is the spirit of Python. If you look up the Greek word for “divination” in Acts 16:16 you’ll see that it actually says “spirit of Python” in the Greek, and some translations actually translate Acts 16:16 as spirit of Python on Bible hub.
2:00 Very interesting. So these things only exist in the minds of imaginative religious people? The python spirit is nowhere mentioned in scripture? From the JOHN MACARTHUR Study Bible: "MacArthur: Acts 16:16 a spirit of divination. Lit., “a python spirit.” That expression comes from Greek mythology; Python was a snake that guarded the oracle at Delphi. Essentially, this girl was a medium in contact with demons who could supposedly predict the future." So a spirit of divination is LITERALLY a python spirit. I guess Acts 16 must not be Scripture, seeing how there's no such thing as a python spirit in scripture! 😂😂😂 Question: what did Paul cast out of the girl? If he didn't cast anything out of her, why did her masters see that their hope of profit was gone? If this was all just semantics, why did they seize Paul and Silas, have them stripped and beaten by the magistrates, and thrown in jail? If none of this happened, why did Paul appeal to Caesar and eventually end up in Rome? If there is no such thing as a python spirit in scripture, then you have to throw out Acts 16. If you throw out Acts 16, you have throw out the rest of the book of Acts, not to mention Paul's letters to the churches... You just can't make this stuff up! 😂
The "spirit of divination" that possesses the girl is related to the MYTH of Pythian: a serpent or dragon that guarded the oracle at Delphi and had been slain by Apollo. The girl is possessed by a demon that has taken on this myth-but this does not validate the existence of the "spirit of python."
Derek prince preaches the opposite. I think we should read the Bible and see what it says and not say what it says. He literally has a sermon on monitoring spirits. What about Clive staples Lewis, the screw tape letters.

Soooo…. Since the Bible doesn’t say Trinity we shouldn’t believe in it? There is a lot of things not mentioned in the Bible that are true. I agree some overdue it but to say things are imaginative because you are at war with charismatics is out there.
The Bible describes the Holy Spirit as God, the Father as God, and Jesus as God. The Bible is also very clear there is only one God. The term Trinity therefore, is a construct based on Biblical truths that reconcile in a way we cannot fully comprehend, but that we know must be true because they are presented so in the Bible. The Bible never describes a race or assignment among demons called watchers or monitors.
thomas: No, he's at war with God. Calling demons myths is one of the things a deceiver will do. Nazis did that, calling them ascended masters (a la new age). Devil in English means deceiver.
@@joshuakarr-BibleMan A spirit of divination is a monitoring spirit. Trinity is not a word found in the bible, so we have to go into descriptions of what a trinity is. Theocracy is not mentioned, yet Israel was. So why would you not know that demons monitor people?

God holds everyone accountable, why should it be feared? You are going to accuse of lying and not replace it with truth? Does that not make you just as guilty as the liar?
If you actually think demons literally control your life like that then you haven’t read the Bible. It is completely unbiblical. If you are a child of God then you understand 1 John 4:4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” Also the devil cannot do anything to you unless God wills it. It's more along the lines of, "... your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." (1Pe 5:8)
Really, the idea that Satan and his demons would NOT be watching mankind is foreign to the Bible!
The problem is when people run with that reality to unhealthy extremes and let the enemy get a victory by focusing so much on him that they lose sight of Jesus!
is Truth or crazy?
is ok stalking with the monitory spirits
acts 16:16 2 Tim 1:7
Acts 16:16 was a spirit of divination (familiar spirit). Like the spirit king Saul tried to seek when he went to see the witch of Endor to speak to the late Samuel.
The spirit of divination is a monitoring spirit. All believers carry things from their past and from ancestors that are demonic. Fear is a sin, and a major one. Ask Peter why Jesus had to cast out Satan from him. Demonic spirits are part of the old man, and we'll still be part of that old life till we die.
Book of Job, consider listening to Michael Heiser
A monitoring spirit could be called a flying monkey working for a narcissist or sociopath. They have no superpower though and are human.
Take the form of animals ??😮😳
Remember that the Bible is/was/and has been altered and parts left out !! So no don't be fooled by this Man's teachings!!
2:00 Very interesting. So these things only exist in the minds of imaginative religious people? The python spirit is nowhere mentioned in scripture?
From the JOHN MACARTHUR Study Bible:
"MacArthur:
Acts 16:16 a spirit of divination. Lit., “a python spirit.” That expression comes from Greek mythology; Python was a snake that guarded the oracle at Delphi. Essentially, this girl was a medium in contact with demons who could supposedly predict the future."
So a spirit of divination is LITERALLY a python spirit. I guess Acts 16 must not be Scripture, seeing how there's no such thing as a python spirit in scripture! 😂😂😂
Question: what did Paul cast out of the girl?
Your laughing emojis are rather odd. I’m not sure what message you’re trying to convey with them. Sarcasm perhaps?
@@gotquestions Thank you! People are unbearable sometimes. What we really need is reading comprehension classes!
Derek prince preaches the opposite. I think we should read the Bible and see what it says and not say what it says. I think the content creator would do well to more thoroughly research the scriptiure and then state that. No offense I have just learned over the years to just do that, just let the Bible out. He literally has a sermon on monitoring spirits. What about Clive staples Lewis, the screw tape letters.

"Derek prince preaches the opposite."
So? The point is what does the Bible say, not what other people say. And the Bible does not teach anything about "monitoring spirits."
The Bible doesn’t teach everything. The Bible is not the word of god. Jesus is. John 1:1.
So glad the Lord opened my eyes to leave the charismatic movement. Much of their doctrine is unbiblical and downright blasphemous. Please read your Bible people.
The bible doesn’t explain everything, unfortunately.
@@joshuakarr-BibleMan Amen 🙏 🙌 👏
thomas: No, he's at war with God.
@@britzel71 do not encourage deceivers like joshua. do you do deliverances? If you dod, you'd know how demons will spy/monitor people.
Ugh….youre spreading lies. God will hold you accountable
Why speak God's name to condemn your brother? Instead of rebuking him with God's word you're using God's name to wish harm on someone just because you disagree with him. You're not a true believer if you do this kind of stuff. You have no right to tell what God's need to do you are insolent.
That’s what happened to Job. God gave satan permission to to do everything he wants to Job except kill him. God can do that to any one of us to test our faith. Understand the sovereignty of God Not satan.
@@mayethgarcia4441 Yeah, and three fingers are aiming right back at you. We are ordered by God to judge with discernment. You simply judge. A real believer would know that. A jezebel will call God a liar.
@@surfhawaiiwaves Well, some day we may be as perfect as you, but God is still working on me. Understand that Satan is god of this world and will be till the end. Understand that Peter called Jesus God, and later Jesus had to cast Satan from him. You inherited demons from ancestral lines, and those you pick up on your own or were sent to you. Unless you are doing deliverance, you'll never understand that and remain a servant in his kingdom. God will never force you to be delivered of the old man, a person you once were. You need to seek that on your own and unless you're more perfect than Paul, you'll still carry part of him to the grave. Paul pleaded with the Lord for help, but God allowed it to remain to keep him humble.
Thanks!
