    I just read the scripture yesterday which stated Jesus being the High Priest in the order of Melchizidek. So it's interesting that God brought me to this video, because I was seeking further explanation. And now here I am, receiving just that. I love how God does that!

    One thing I find most interesting about the story is the bread and wine, making Abraham a participant in the body and blood of the Lord Jesus before anyone knew what it meant. "Abraham is the father of us all" as the father of faith.

    • @78town
      @78town 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Maybe. Bread and wine was a common combination all throughout Israel's history. It really was meaningless until Jesus gave it one.

    There are plenty of Christophanies in the Old Testament: Abraham with the 2 angels in Genesis chapter 18, and wrestling Jacob in Genesis 32 , appearing to Moses in the burning bush in Exodus 3, and in the furnace with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel chapter 3. With all of these the appearance and disappearance of a pre-incarnate Jesus was sudden. I don’t think Melchizedek was a Christophany because he was an established priest and king of Salem.

    God showed up in my dream as a high school music teacher, told me that melchizedek was a war general and that he was the strongest fiercest warrior but he got a disease poking a camels eye with a needle that made him weak and in the verge of death. I woke up, i had to look up who Melchizedek was. I think god was telling me to be more like Melchizedek and to not be in love with money like rich people or else it would be harder for me to get to heaven

      Be wary when you claim God told you something, even in a dream. Check if it agrees with the Bible. If it does not, it is not from God, but either from yourself, or demons. If it does, then it is pointless because we already have His word and His word is sufficient and complete. I advise you to consider the possibility that this may have just been a dream you had

      If he had genuinely been saved he would have repented and not killed himself. But yes he could be saved

    • @KamiNoRanger99
      @KamiNoRanger99 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Even Hitler could have been saved. It is unlikely though, because he bore no fruit of salvation. While even suicide is not unforgivable, it is highly unlikely a genuine Christian would commit suicide. I would say with 99% certainty that Hitler is in torment right now.

    • @MultiWayland
      @MultiWayland 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      According to the Bible, suicide is not what determines whether a person gains entrance into heaven. If an unsaved person commits suicide, he has done nothing but “expedite” his journey to hell. However, that person who committed suicide will ultimately be in hell for rejecting salvation through Christ, not because he committed suicide (see John 3:18). We should also point out, however, that no one truly knows what was happening in a person’s heart the moment he or she died.Some people have “deathbed conversions” and accept Christ in the moments before death. It is possible that a person who commits suicide could have a last-second change of heart and cry out for God’s mercy. We leave such judgments to God (1 Samuel 16:7).

    If we assume melchizedek is literally Jesus (approx 1900 yrs prior to being "born") it creates a host of theological problems with ruling over another people group directly (jebusites not hebrews), and then leaving them even though he would have literally walked among them without changing them among other things. The jebusites fought agaist the jews when they entered the land.

      The Angel of the LORD who is Himslef God is most likely Christophony, or atleast Theophony. Also the 4th man in the fire is called the Son of God in daniel and the word for God used is not Elohim but a singular aramaic word, so it probably refers to Jesus. Also Isaiah 6 the One seated on the throne according to the gospel of John is Jesus.

      I honestly don't know why Jesus didn't correct Thomas that He is not God. Maybe He did, and John didn't write it. But I wouldn't call Jesus 'God' simply because a disciple said so when he saw our Lord after His crucifixion, because Jesus HIMSELF made it clear when he was called 'good' by someone: Jesus said, “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good-except God alone.

      3. John 8:58
      “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”
      Yes, before Abraham existed, Jesus existed.
      4. Hebrews 1:8
      Well let's look at the original Psalms 45 where this verse is quoted:
      6 Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever,
      and justice is the scepter of Your kingdom.
      7 You have loved righteousness
      and hated wickedness;
      therefore God, your God, has anointed you
      above your companions with the oil of joy.
      In verse 7 it says, "therefore God, your God, has anointed you,
      Does that mean Jesus Has a God, because it says "your God"?
      5. John 10:30
      Jesus was talking about the unity He has with His Father. You can look at John 17:21: I pray that they will all be ONE, just as you and I are ONE-as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.
      Lastly I would like to see your understanding of the verse below:
      1 Corinthians 8:6 But for us, There is one God, the Father, by whom all things were created, and for whom we live. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created, and through whom we live.
