The USPS store in my hometown is (atleast the times I've been in there) very quiet and simple- the workers are soft spoken and sweet, and I can't even remember music being played really. It's not an awkward quiet but a comforting one with a little bit of paper shuffling background noise :>
Mine is the opposite :( The workers are always so grouchy and impatient. They're old women and have been working there for years. It's pretty bad because we have a 2 star rating.

About the mail ASMR - you can take inspiration from the anime violet evergarden (if you haven’t watched it yet - sooo good!) There are a lot of parts about letters and post office in a steampunk setting 😄

I would love to see a type of “calligraphy lesson” video with these pens, maybe with some printed calligraphy tracing guides, a bit like your worksheet video where you rambled while you wrote. Not sure what gave me the idea, but I think it would be fun and really relaxing!

I think a fun thing for the mail idea could be the listener is a fragile package and the asmr is different people looking after the package at various stages of transport. eg. making sure the bubble wrap is secure, brushing off any dirt with a brush, asking if the package (listener) is okay with dome affirmation e.c.t

Your question: show and tell is fun sometimes because I enjoy seeing what you purchased and seeing the craft items (I love crafting) but I get more tingles from videos with more tapping and slightly less direct talking. But your variety is what makes your videos so perfect. People can pick videos for what it is they are needing that day.
It’s wild how Gibi found these things at a store that likely mass produces all the things she bought, but yet they’re still so original and unique to us. ASMR can be done with literally anything it’s so great
I like the show and tell style because I typically watch your videos while I'm working and I like the conversational vibe, but I like trigger videos when I am relaxing/trying to sleep. I think it matters most what YOU want to do in the video, its more enjoyable if you are excited about it.
Loved all the sounds especially with paper/pens! Seeing and hearing made me want to see you maybe do a traditional print shop role play ( or possibly series, there are a lot of aspects of traditional printmaking if you had any desire to stretch it out or develop one of your awesome characters with it!) One of the most fulfilling/soothing sounds I've ever encountered is the perfect "sizzle" of lino/litho/etching ink being rolled out to the perfect consistency with a roller or beater to ink up a woodblock, linoleum or other kind of art plate for printing. There are a ton of other sounds/visual options that are completely asmr as well; lids on the ink cans, lining up letters and type on a plate for letter press, circular motions of rubbing a cheesecloth on a metal plate, brush strokes, spraying stuff down with cleaning solution, sponges and water with keeping a litho plate damp, the actual rolling the press and crank--- I know this sound technical but many of the hand tools are in craft stores, and often there are community print shops you can rent open studio time or even have an art school friend show you around the shop at their school (sponsorship with ink printing companies like craft field or speedball?) Haha I know I'm getting super technical hear but my printmaker/ artist side would LOVE something like this that embraces all the sensory aspects of the studio world!

I definitely love show and tell videos! I love listening about new things and hearing what goes through other people's minds. It helps quiet the chaos in mine and reassure me that there are all kinds of emotions, reactions, thoughts for everyone!
I think for me, the focused trigger videos are better for actually triggering ASMR, and the show and tell videos are calming in a different, low-pressure type of way, but neither is better or worse. I like both! Your work is an absolute treat, and I hope you continue to do what you love!
I love both show and tell and trigger videos in equal measure. Sometimes your voice intermixed with the sounds is more helpful for relaxation and sleep and sometimes it's the sounds themselves. I cannot tell you how excited I am for the "USPS" type video. I love all things stationary! I loved school supplies shopping as a kid 🤣
I really like the videos in which you talk a lot. It really helps me find sleep because I find your voice very soothing. Also, it makes for a great kind of static background noise between different triggers, since I sometimes find very differentiating sounds waking me up again. I’m with you! I don’t have roommates, so I don’t have to worry about the sound being an issue for everyone else. Also I can’t sleep in earbuds. So every night I pick an ASMR video and let it play directly off my phone on my nightstand as I fall asleep. I love it!

You distrac me with your talking and make me fell like I'm there with you, bc I get really bored with other ASMR videos were they juts do triggers in complete sillent. I personally don't think going through the cards was boring at all - I absolutely love show & tell in asmr, and I love when it's over explained! :) I will probably replay the bird card section of this video many times! Also, I discovered wax as a new trigger today, thanks Gibi!

I definitely love show and tell videos! I love listening about new things and hearing what goes through other people's minds. It helps quiet the chaos in mine and reassure me that there are all kinds of emotions, reactions, thoughts for everyone!

I think for me, the focused trigger videos are better for actually triggering ASMR, and the show and tell videos are calming in a different, low-pressure type of way, but neither is better or worse. I like both! Your work is an absolute treat, and I hope you continue to do what you love!

I love both show and tell and trigger videos in equal measure. Sometimes your voice intermixed with the sounds is more helpful for relaxation and sleep and sometimes it's the sounds themselves. I cannot tell you how excited I am for the "USPS" type video. I love all things stationary! I loved school supplies shopping as a kid 🤣

I really like the videos in which you talk a lot. It really helps me find sleep because I find your voice very soothing. Also, it makes for a great kind of static background noise between different triggers, since I sometimes find very differentiating sounds waking me up again.

I’m with you! I don’t have roommates, so I don’t have to worry about the sound being an issue for everyone else. Also I can’t sleep in earbuds. So every night I pick an ASMR video and let it play directly off my phone on my nightstand as I fall asleep. I love it!
I use it to fall asleep and can’t stand wearing headphones or earbuds to bed so I always listen with just my phone speakers

would love the pen shop idea and this kind of show-and-tell where you show things, talk about them, then a little tapping and sharing any random thoughts came out on your mind that sudden. anything you feel easy and free to do will be all good, to be smooth and controlled all the time could be kind of tension, these casual and impromptu kind of videos could be as relaxing as those well-prepared ones as well, just do what you'd love to! ❤️
