Bareminerals is SOOOO underrated. I used to work in one of their standalone storefronts and people would always be so surprised by their products! So glad you uploaded this!
I have a soft spot for bareminerals because they were one of the first high end brands I bought... I got a lipstick and their powder foundation, and an eyeshadow pot
Bare Minerals is definitely an underrated brand. I have been wearing primarily BM products for 16 years! Many of the Real Techniques brushes work beautifully with BM products. The Expert Face Brush works really well with the Original Loose foundation.
I was a diehard BareMinerals fan (I used it and nothing else for six years running, until Leslie Blodgett sold the company to Shiseido). I recommend anyone with sensitive skin try the matte powder foundation, because it doesn’t contain the bismuth that makes many people itchy. Also warmth makes a great eyeshadow, especially for pale girls like me who can’t use it as a bronzer!
I'm 37, have oily/acne prone skin and have been using Bare Minerals original loose powder foundation for maybe 15 years now now and still absolutely in love with it!
Kelly Would you mind doing close ups foe base makeup so we can see how it looks. From a distance it looks amazing but can’t really see how it looks on the skin,
i’m so glad that you did this video. bare minerals was actually the very first makeup brand i used and this video reminded me why i loved that brand so much.
I remember people would always compliment my skin when I was wearing their mineral foundations because it doesn't look like you're wearing makeup. It photographed really well too.
I discovered the BM original foundation about 2 months ago and Im full on obsessed. It just works with my (dry!) skin in a way I could never get any liquid formulas to. I also swear my skin has cleared up since I started using it. The barepro concealer looks amazing. I've been eyeing the serum one which has great reviews. But I just got the covergirl undercover concealer last week based on your reviews and WOW.... what a phenomenal concealer. Better than high end brands I have in my collection.
Thank you for highlighting the Bare Minerals brand. With all the different launches and so many more makeup and skincare brands now, it’s easy to forget how great these products really are. I don’t have any Bare Minerals currently in my collection, but I did buy my mom almost a full face of Bare Minerals for Christmas. It’s good for your skin, it’s pretty affordable and easily accessible. It was great seeing you apply everything! 💚❤️💚❤️💚
Yes! I’m so glad you did this video! This brand doesn’t get enough love. I have been using their original powder foundation, their tinted moisturizer, and their brushes for years and they have really stood the test of time. I always go back to them Also, I LOVE that lip color on you :)
Was waiting for your upload bc I’m sitting in a lobby waiting on my car to have some work done. When I run out of my current powder foundation I may try this one.
Your skin looks so gorgeous and beachy! I've heard great things about the concealer stick for more textured undereyes, and am definitely planning to pick it up once I finish my current concealer.
Back in the day, when BareMinerals was powdered minerals, when they sold dozens and dozens of loose shadows and blushes, and before Shiseido bought them, I wore only BM products. Once they moved into liquids and pressed powders, I thought they lost what made them unique. I have yet to find one of their liquid foundations to work, and I wish I had not given away my loose shadows when I moved 1500 miles away and downsized. I loved that the shadows were in multiple finishes and easily layerable, but not at all TH-camy. I honestly think the reason I still can’t “do” eyeshadow anymore is that after ten or more years of doing it the BM way, I can’t unlearn. I find their pressed shadows very limited in variation and after buying one of their large palettes a few years ago, I was very disappointed.
Im 69 and have used Bare Minerals for appx. 20 years. I use the original foundation and use it for a concealer also. I have a lot of the brushes and they are fabulous. I don't use a sunscreen because I find I don't need it with this foundation. Oh, and the eye shadows are the best!
Bare Minerals is an interesting brand, but I like their newer face products more. The old school powder products just seem like a hassle to use. Open the cap, shake out just the tiniest bit, make sure you don't get too much on your brush, patiently buff it in...I could do it for blush maybe but not the whole face. On my busier days I'm the type to apply a bb cream all over with my fingers, tap on a cream blush, and my base is done. Eyeshadow and liner is about as much fuss as I can usually take on :)
That bareminerals Gen Nude lip in Swag is my absolute favorite. It's got a vanilla/cocoa scent, which is lovely, and the color is "my lips but better." Friendship is a little more mauve/brownish undertone if you like the formula.
I don't think I've used a Bare Minerals product since I was in my early 20s! I'm digging the blush so I maaay have to try it. I love the look! So soft looking!
For me, where they shine is their color ways- the colors all just work so well. I have never gotten along well with any of their foundations, but I adore their color products: blushes, shadows, (loose and pressed) and lippies.
Bareminerals loose blushes are SO underrated. The mineral veil is the best powder for my oily skin and their barepro liquid foundation is natural but flawless looking. The all over color face powder gives the most natural blush look. Their pressed powder shadows are also amazing and blend so easily.
I could only use the original bareminerals foundation after my skin changed when I had my son. Sadly after my daughter, my skin changed again and I couldn't even use it anymore. Now I am slowly coming back to the brand using some of their other products and their foundation stick. I love it!
Thank you, Kelly! Tht looks so beautiful on you, so glad you used all of the original products. Warmth is hard to work with, but you blended it nicely. I love the Glee on you, too. The Glee can be used as an allover face product, too, just to bring some color. Your skin looks flawless!
I loved this video. The products look lovely on you. Can you do another underrated makeup brand video on say makeup geek? I never hear anyone talk about them any more. I’ve been thinking of purchasing some items but I don’t know if they’re good or not.
I love bare minerals. I don't understand why more people don't talk about them. I've really been into their skincare lately--moisturizers and eye creams--and love it just as much as the makeup. My favorites in the makeup are the barepro liquid foundation, the gen nude blush, and the liquid lip. The liquid lip is the most comfortable matte liquid lip I've tried, hands down! Excited to try the highlighter at some point.
Yes!! I've been waiting for this tutorial! I'm on the fence with what I have but I think it is the way I have been applying them. Thank you for sharing!
BareMinerals is hands down the most underrated and reliable brand for me! As someone with acne-prone skin, their complexion products (primer, foundation, concealer, and powder) make up like 75% of my collection lol Really wish you'd tried their BareSkin Complete Coverage Serum concealer! I haven't used a different one in like 4 or 5 years since Jamie Paige recommended it once, truly THE BEST!
This looks so beautiful on you. I feel like a lot of people, like myself, are not drawn to bare minerals because it doesnt have enough coverage. I have tried it twice and just cannot do it. Its fine to cover up some redness but that is about it. I typically always have a blemish on my skin and marks from healing breakouts, so I look for something with medium coverage.
🙌🏼 yay for powder foundations! I use Alima pure, and it’s my absolute favorite. I would love to try bare minerals again but I always have a hard time finding the right undertone with them. I remember enjoying it a lot.
I love Bare Minerals and have been wearing since the infomercials! I hate liquid foundations. I still love them but have been trying to branch out and try different brands. Thanks for sharing your look!
Oh my gosh you’re so stunning 😍 I’m so nervous for your makeup inventory 😂 I plan on counting my makeup up and putting it in the comments to compare to my mid year inventory. I’ve bought a LOT of makeup this year LOL
I was able to get both of the sets you talked about back in November, the $15 and the free gift! It was awesome seeing your thoughts on all the products, I’ve been loving them the past month and I can’t wait to try more bareMinerals products!!
The first make up I ever tried was bare minerals, and I've loved powder foundation ever since. I have urban decay , tarte and fenty liquid foundation but my powder always outwears my liquids 🙏 wish more influences would use bare minerals 😭 I love the powder concealer they do aswell 👀
Hey Kelly! I adore Bareminerals! Please do more BM videos! I especially love the gen nude eyeshadows! Check out the new Good Tidings eyeshadow palette - its gorgeous!
I love Bare minerals I think it was the first higher end brand I owned like everything from them back in the day. My favorite concealer is the BM serum concealer and I love their pressed eye shadows the 6 pans are so good.
If you do it right you can get pretty high coverage with the loose powder foundation. Emily noel did a really good video about it awhile ago. And yes Shelby Wilson is the go to bareminerals expert.
While I have never tried Bareminerals, I do really like loose mineral products and feel like they are all really underrated. If you like Bareminerals, I recommend trying Everyday Minerals or Meow Cosmetics.
Bare minerals is absolutely underrated. Their products super easy to apply when applied correctly. I love the soft and simple the makeup looks how bare minerals looks on The skin. I feel like they have a lot of options without being overwhelming as a makeup brand. Personally, if I could only choose 1 high end brand to choose a full face from it would be bare minerals. I actually enjoy their skin care, especially their eye creams. Expensive skincare, but worth the price.
Bare Minerals was the first makeup I started using in my adult life. My cousin blessed me with a full face of BM when I was in my mid-late 20s, and I still have a full box of millions of different products, mostly shadows, that I haven't used in forever. It's the oldest makeup in my collection that I just can't get rid of...and Kelly, you got me to pull out the box! I've wondered over the years if it would be possible to use the powders with some kind of mixing medium to turn the powders into something more creamy, which is a texture I adore now that I'm old. I know I've used a duraline kind of substance to change it into a more liquid or gel kind of texture to line with, but are there other mixing products I could use? Know of anyone who's done that kind of thing before? Also, is there a difference on the skin between the loose powder formula and the pressed powder foundation format? Other than personal preference, is there a benefit to using one form over the other? Going to play with my old box of goodies now. Thanks for the inspiration! ❤️❤️❤️
I love Bare Minerals but every complexion product I've tried from them has been too deep for me to use consistently (I'm very pale so can use occasionally in the summer or if self-tanned). But I do love the blushes, bronzers, eyeshadows, and lippies!
I have a very pale friend who can't wear BM foundation either because it's too dark for her, but she says the Ulta Mineral foundation in the lightest, coolest shade works for her... if you want to try it.
I think Bare Minerals was the first products I ever used that didn't come from the drugstore. I love their concealer (I have dry, acne prone skin), liquid foundation and their powders. It's amazing! Even though I'm a licensed and certified makeup artist, I still worry about powder on my skin. I can hydrate and prep my skin for hours before makeup application, but there is no amount of hydration that will make it so I can put powder on my face...but Bare Minerals nailed it and like I said, it's the only powder I can use... especially their finishing powder. Sorry this comment is so long lol
I actually have their liquid pro? foundation abby Williamson swears by them it's pretty good, but I had to get a new nozzle for it the original broke lol. I remember the infomercials too and the whole swirl and tap technique lol.
Psa about the highlighter in the shade “free”. I find it pulls really golden when you apply it a little more heavily on the cheeks, so if you’re fair apply it with a light hand. Also I noticed the packaging is pretty much the same packaging as the becca highlighters, maybe they’re made by the same lab...?
Bareminerals is SOOOO underrated. I used to work in one of their standalone storefronts and people would always be so surprised by their products! So glad you uploaded this!
Yes! They have so many winners!
I have a soft spot for bareminerals because they were one of the first high end brands I bought... I got a lipstick and their powder foundation, and an eyeshadow pot
Omg, glee and warmth. You are bringing me back to 2004.
Right? I thought the same thing!
Bare Minerals is definitely an underrated brand. I have been wearing primarily BM products for 16 years!
Many of the Real Techniques brushes work beautifully with BM products. The Expert Face Brush works really well with the Original Loose foundation.
Girl I’ve always loved the way your makeup looks, especially your base it’s so flawless and soft 😍
Thank you so much!

It's amazing!
This lip color is actually very stunning on you.
Kelly Would you mind doing close ups foe base makeup so we can see how it looks. From a distance it looks amazing but can’t really see how it looks on the skin,

I love the complexion rescue tinted moisturiser, it works great in my oily skin even in summer. Now I got really curious about the powder foundation
I didn’t know that technique for powder foundation, I will try it soon ☺️
Thank you for highlighting the Bare Minerals brand. With all the different launches and so many more makeup and skincare brands now, it’s easy to forget how great these products really are. Was waiting for your upload bc I’m sitting in a lobby waiting on my car to have some work done. When I run out of my current powder foundation I may try this one.
Elf also has a flat brush like the two you showed and it is amazing with Bareminerals!
the 4 piece set with the blush, bronzer, mineral veil, and lipstick is still available online at ulta!!
I love my baremineral powder foundation and the bounce & blur blushes... thank you for the video
The more I test out the Bounce & Blur Blushes the more I like them!
I really like the formula of their liquid lipsticks and the bare pro liquid foundation are my favorites
Your skin looks so gorgeous and beachy! I've heard great things about the concealer stick for more textured undereyes, and am definitely planning to pick it up once I finish my current concealer.

The gen nude eyeshadow is smooth and pigmented as well, the price is also in a more reasonable tag in sephora
Thanks for sharing!
Would love to see more Bare Minerals content! Also maybe a video on old school drugstore products?
Good idea :)
Im 69 and have used Bare Minerals for appx. 20 years. I use the original foundation and use it for a concealer also. I have a lot of the brushes and they are fabulous. I don't use a sunscreen because I find I don't need it with this foundation. Oh, and the eye shadows are the best!
I just pulled out my Bare Minerals yesterday thinking I need to use it again!
I like faux tan better than warmth. Its cooler toned and better for lighter skintones.
Bare Minerals is an interesting brand, but I like their newer face products more. The old school powder products just seem like a hassle to use. I agree! Definitely underrated and just such beautiful makeup 👌🏽
I love nude beach! I'm on my third one! I apply it with my finger and it's gorgeous 🤩
That bareminerals Gen Nude lip in Swag is my absolute favorite. It's got a vanilla/cocoa scent, which is lovely, and the color is "my lips but better." Friendship is a little more mauve/brownish undertone if you like the formula.

Bareminerals loose blushes are SO underrated. The mineral veil is the best powder for my oily skin and their barepro liquid foundation is natural but flawless looking. The all over color face powder gives the most natural blush look. Their pressed powder shadows are also amazing and blend so easily.
I enjoyed this format where you feature one brand 👍
Yesss so excited you did this video!
I agree 100% with you it's just not shown enough and it's my one and only that I use I wish could remember those infomercial
I love their matte loose powder foundation. It only has 9 grams but I was surprised it lasted me a long time considering I apply it all over the face
I really love bareminerals. I think a lot of people on youtube think they're boring. But I think they have excellent classic products
You are making me want to try this foundation so bad!! 😩🥰
I could only use the original bareminerals foundation after my skin changed when I had my son. Sadly after my daughter, my skin changed again and I couldn't even use it anymore. Now I am slowly coming back to the brand using some of their other products and their foundation stick. I love it!

The pressed eyeshadow palettes are really good too.
I absolutely have ALWAYS loved mineral powder foundations. So lightweight and airbrushed
I love bare minerals. I don't understand why more people don't talk about them. I've really been into their skincare lately--moisturizers and eye creams--and love it just as much as the makeup. Such a lovely look! I really like what I've tried from Bare Minerals and that highlighter is definitely going on the wishlist.
Yes! I love Bare Minerals. The liquid lipstick in boss is one of my favorites colors of mu life. 😻
You such a bad influence.. now I need to order bare minerals
I know right! Now I want the powder foundation so bad 🤣
Love Bareminerals! I bought my first makeup from them in high school and I’ve been loving them ever since
I do like baremineral products. I normally use the orginial. Great video. I do like these one brand videos!
I love using the it cosmetics no7 brush for this foundation. It blends into the skin beautiful with that brush.
Thanks for the tip, I’ll take it into account
Oh my gosh you’re so stunning 😍 I’m so nervous for your makeup inventory 😂 I plan on counting my makeup up and putting it in the comments to compare to my mid year inventory. I’ve bought a LOT of makeup this year LOL

So happy you were able to snag them too! They didn’t last long!
BareMinerals powder foundation was all I used in college! Definitely underrated
That's a very nice daytime look even with the lipstick you don't like.
The first make up I ever tried was bare minerals, and I've loved powder foundation ever since. I have urban decay , tarte and fenty liquid foundation but my powder always outwears my liquids 🙏 wish more influences would use bare minerals 😭 I love the powder concealer they do aswell 👀
I love the liquid bronzer and the bounce blush
I’ll have to check them out. Thank you!
As someone with very sensitive, combination, acne prone skin, bare minerals is my go-to!

I’ve heard great things about that concealer!
As someone with dry skin I always think I can’t use products like these but I love this look! Definitely not dry or powdery at all
Yay love it 🥰 thank you for making this vid Kelly!! Really enjoyed it x
Thank you for watching!
The thumbnail was 😙👌🏻
If you do it right you can get pretty high coverage with the loose powder foundation. Emily noel did a really good video about it awhile ago. And yes Shelby Wilson is the go to bareminerals expert.
Looking at the Bare Mineral Kits and it might be a better deal if you want to go for a full face to try the route and save some money.
While I have never tried Bareminerals, I do really like loose mineral products and feel like they are all really underrated. If you like Bareminerals, I recommend trying Everyday Minerals or Meow Cosmetics.
Thanks so much for this video!!! I been meaning to try this brand and these types of videos are so helpful!

Expensive skincare, but worth the price.
Yes! They have so many amazing options!
Bare minerals is my ride or die. Definitely under rated.
Kelly you read my mind. I’ve been looking into getting some bare minerals powder foundation. Thank you for uploading this :-)
I’m glad that it was helpful!
I love the lip color!
I found the concealer at Marshalls and it is great
Ohhh Warmth sounds amazing! Definitely something I need to check out :)
I'm putting the foundation and concealer on my wish list
Bare Minerals was the first makeup I started using in my adult life. Going to play with my old box of goodies now. Thanks for the inspiration! ❤️❤️❤️
The face and eyes remind me of Charlotte tilbury that glowy eye and face
I love Nude Beach! I have used it for over 20 years.

I’m always so impressed that their powders never look dry!
Thank you for doing this look!
Just bought the 4 piece fan favorites set so excited to use some Bareminerals for the first time!
Let me know why you think!
Hey, great video , your skin is flawless always ❤️xox
Thank you!
YAY inspiration to use my own bareminerals!
I actually have their liquid pro? foundation abby Williamson swears by them it's pretty good, but I had to get a new nozzle for it the original broke lol. I remember the infomercials too and the whole swirl and tap technique lol.
You may not like the shade but it’s a gorgeous pink on you!
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing!
haven’t even watched and just by the title: yes, yes it is. Bareminerals is so so good and so underrated!
Also, the beautiful finish brush from bareminerals is great for applying it! I think that one is the best in my experience
Agreed!
Wonderful video, thank you!
Their powder concealer is bomb
Does it have good coverage for under the eyes?
Hi!! Can you do a deep dive on why bareMinerals has been sooooooo quiet this year?
Love this look!
