That bare skin concealer is 🙌🏼 and I love that their products are always truly fragrance free. I find that a lot of times, clean beauty brands are “fragrance free” but have added plant extracts and oils that can actually be quite sensitizing.
Yea, I am not a fan of fragrance in any form and I love that they are fragrance free :) I am learning that "clean" makeup doesn't necessarily mean healthy makeup :/
I have been using Bare Minerals for 20 yrs. I love all their products and miss Leslie Blodgette. My favorite products are the original loose powder foundation, I love their primers, I use TRUE all over face color as a blush, for the eyes I use BARE SKIN during the day and sometimes I will wet it to give it a bit of shimmer, I love the WARMTH and in the summer I will put some WARMTH in my skin lotion and put it all over my legs, Complexion Rescue tinted moisturizer it great and can be used as a primer,I miss their eyebrow gel they did away with it about 15 years ago. You can even use the Bisque as an eyelash primer before putting on your mascara. There are so many eye color shades that I love to even list. Their new Hydrating mist setting spray is great! Their skin care line is wonderful. I miss the days of it's popularity. Ever since Leslie Blodgette sold the company to Shisado ( don't know if that is the correct spelling of the company) they haven't been as popular. IT Cosmetics came along and kind of stole their thunder. I have been with them since they were Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals. LOVE LOVE LOVE Bare Minerals!!!! Please keep doing more videos. Yes the mineral veil is their original setting powder.
I love Bare Minerals! I’ll use their loose powder foundation just in spots I need it. I love the invisible bronze and highlight as well; use them everyday. I also love their loose powder blush in golden gate and their gen nude blush! I have the same shade of blush as you and love it for cheeks and even as a transition shade.
I think Bare minerals is one of the first brand to pave the way for "cleaner" makeup. Over 10 yrs ago, I was breaking out so much in my 20's I decided to switch to BM and it helped clear my skin up. But I don't use the powder foundation anymore, I love the invisible bronzer and glad that Amazon still sells it for less than it used to be. I'm curious about the stick foundation and maybe the newer blushes.
I started using it due to sensitive eyes now 10 plus years. This year I have tried to buy new makeup and new brands but I keep coming back to bare minerals.
I got the bare pro 3yrs ago for summer weddings and loved it. I got rid of it this year as it was old and have been trying some other foundations but I will be repurchasing the bare pro as it is the best.
Coconut alkanes are not a type of alcohol, but a silicone alternative. It's a derivative of coconut oil, not the oil itself, so folks who break out from coconut oil may be fine with it.
To be honest I truly love bare minerals, I been using that brand since they started back in an infomercial, I don’t have as many products as I used to, but I still have quite some mostly their powders because you are right they are absolutely amazing, most of my brushes are their brand and they have last for many years and still in great condition. Thank you for this video helped me go and revisit all my bare minerals loved products
I use the bare pro liquid foundation. Love it !& I use the loose powder blush from Marshalls , you can find great clean non toxic beauty at Marshalls and tjmax for way less money then the rest ! Check it out ! Save your money ladies !! Be smart
it is so genuinely strange to me that so many people are sensitive to coconut lol. I desperately want someone to do research on why some people are very sensitive to it and why some people aren’t
I've avoided them for 8 years because I didn't consider them cruelty free! I see their parent company tests but they do not. Sometimes I make exceptions on that now like I bought a few NYX products recently. I feel like Bare Minerals was THE clean beauty brand back in the day though, like when everyone was buying MAC haha
Yes! Great point and I try to avoid companies that have parent companies that test on animals. It's so hard to find products with better ingredients that are good for sensitive skin (or at least my sensitive skin).
You've totally helped me fall in love with Bare Minerals again. Once I buy the cream shadow in base-ic I'm going to pick up the concealer. I also loooooove their bounce n blur blush!
I almost got one of those blushes! They have a bronzey shade that I was lusting over lol but it's $29 so I will have to pick that up after I use one if mine
I've rediscovered BM in my middle age (after having gone makeup free for 10 years), but now use their matte formula, and it still looks better on my skin than any liquid. I always had some kind of reaction to liquid foundations when I was younger and just gave up. But even though it's powder, the BM makes my skin look lovely every day, fine lines and all!
Mascara suggestion: golden one from Yves Rocher. Contains rosehip oil to nourish eyelashes, promote growth and stop breakage. Plant based, NOT clean makeup. My colleage has similar eyelashes as yours, however we both use non-waterproof version and find it holds curl and does not melt in high humidity or heavy rainshowers. Eyeglasses and egzema eyes approved too.
I adore Bare..li use their skin care and makeup. I use the original foundation and it is so amazing..lots of coverage and lasts with no touch ups needed ever. I use the complexion rescue as my primer and these 2 look incredible. Thanks for putting out the word on these products because people need to try!! Safe and reliable..last forever and brilliant.
Hi loved your review :) I’m very intruiged in this brand, recently got a sample. I’m surprised that you like the weleda stuff since it contains fragrance, I stopped using their products. Coconut alkanes are the fatty acids of the coconut oil, they are then going through a process called hydrogenation. So no alcohol :) The look you created looks stunning 😍😍😍 and so curious about that concealer!
Yayyyy I can’t wait until I receive my bare minerals goodies. I’m super sensitive and have eczema and your videos really help me find things 😩🙏🏽🙌🏽 thank you!! I also wanted to ask if you have tried the glo skin beauty ? I want to try their foundation maybe you can do a foundation review ☺️❤️
It’s not uncommon to confuse silica with silicon, and I wonder if that was a misunderstanding in this video. If not, I’d love to know more about why one should avoid silica, as silica is a naturally occurring compound.
Awe how unfortunate that Bare Minerals is owned by a non cruelty free brand ☹️....idk why I thought they were a stand alone brand, thank you for informing me! Great review, great inspo. That wand concealer looks awesome and so does the highlight!! I have really been loving Alima Pure (def cruelty free) the Satin powder foundation- very minimal ingredients (no talc in any if their products I believe) and also great for sensitive skin as I have extremely sensitive and FA prone skin. I actually ordered the Alima Pure based on a video you made on them. I also really enjoy their bronzer as well. I want to try their highlights. Would love your input on Alima Pure! Thanks again for this video, you’re beautiful 💜

bareminerals is usually a brand I overlook but I might have to try some of the products you featured. They look amazing!!

I really love that their products are great for sensitive skin because I have had my fair share of breakouts as well lol
I love the stick foundation. I just recently tried it. It’s really good for my dry skin.

If someone is looking for a mineral makeup brand that isn't owned by a non-cruelty free parent company, I used to use and like Sheer Cover a lot.

Alexa Blake I got a mini size as a 100 point perk and it’s perfect. I wish they just sold those!
@@StateofKait that's awesome! I love mini sizes...every brand should offer mini's

I have had so many bad reactions to liquid foundations so I love how mineral powder foundations are great for sensitive skin :)

Awesome, thank you for the recommendation :) I am always looking for new mascaras!

Beautiful!! Definitely check out their new pressed and liquid bronzers --I think you would really like them. ❤️
Will do! Thank you :)
Makeup looks flawless and natural.
I love Complexion Rescue!
Bare Minerals is the only thing I use. I'm 63 and it is just so perfect!
Really love this!! 😊 💕 So gorgeous
Thank you!
A great look! I love bareminerals, too.
Hi what are your thoughts on clean beauty brand the Ordinary ? Just got some and wondering if it works . I got the vit c , the rose hip oil . Thx !
I used to use some of their products, but I haven't tried anything recently
How does Bare minerals photgraph? Do you get that "white cast" in photos that mineral spf can give?
I have not had any issues with the liquid foundations and flashback. I haven't tested their mineral powder foundation so I am not sure about that one
Thanks! I'm going to a wedding in April so I'm looking for products that photograph well.
Could someone lighten me up on why is silicon a no no? >.< is it bad for our skin?

What sponge is this?
I prefer green beauty, so I don’t use Bare Minerals. But I like you and your videos, so I look it nevertheless 🤗
Nice
😍

I thought so too :/ I actually did an entire video dedicated to Alima Pure and I use their stain matte powder foundation :)
