She’s precious. I love the baby noises. It’s difficult to get back into routine at first but it’s nice to have some adult conversation and it gives you a little break even if it’s just the ride to and from work. I used to lay my little girls stuff out for my husband…. Who am I kidding? She’s 6 & I still lay all her stuff out for my husband. 😂
If you continue to prep the egg cups I would highly recommend looking into silicone cup liners. They are super easy to get the eggs out of and obviously reasonable. They also sell silicone muffin trays if that's of more interest to you.
Hello! I would love to hear more about how you built up your milk supply to go back to work. I’m worried about the whole transitioning from full time BF to pumping/bottle feeding. I’m also a nurse so will be working 3 12s a week!
The few weeks before work started I pumped after the morning feed (didn’t even do this every day) and built up about 70 or so oz. Then the first day back she just had frozen milk. Then every day of my stretch she had whatever I had pumped at work. Days I work 12s I usually pump right before I leave (depends on when she ate last over night) then I pump every 3 hours at work and feed her right when I get home. Luckily I’m pumping more than she’s eating right now which has been nice. During my stretches off I freeze my last batch and use my oldest freezer stash to start off the week. Once you get back you’ll figure out how many oz or so your kiddo eats. I would recommend trying a bottle every so often to make sure they’re okay with it.
It makes me sad how early American Moms have to go back to work. I cannot imagine! You are all so strong.
Definitely keep getting groceries delivered! It is such a time saver and baby isn’t exposed to dirty stores 🤧

Thanks for the response, Amanda.
I know its been a little bit over a year now, but how have you managed balancing work, marriage, & being a mom/child care?
Curious how many ounces you pump per day when you are at work vs how much she eats!
I usually pump 24 or so at work and she usually eats 20 or so during the day.
That’s an awesome amount!
