I had the same problem; in fact the bead of solder fell off entirely when I was testing the continuity as you demonstrated. I had to solder a wire between the two contact points, but that resolved the issue! Reassembly was tricky; I couldn’t get the button on the housing to go into the clear plastic guide on the central module. So after reassembly, the button did not turn the frother on. To get around this (as shown in another video), I just removed the clear plastic guide and after reassembly, the button works. Another person in the comments below has a better solution for this assembly problem. The button will likely stop working at some point but for now, it’s operational. Thanks for the video.
I encounter the same problem with the button. Before reassembly, when it is open, without the circuit. push the button inside until it pops in. The button will go through. Then you can reassemble completely, and the last thing will be to push the button in from the outside.
Hey! I just did this fix and I'm enjoying a fret-free latte! Thanks a ton! Saved me $100 and more importantly kept it out of the landfill. My soldering iron didn't melt the solder, but I used some of my own and completed the contact.
The first time I tried this I used a (maybe 60 watt?) iron to reflow the pad. It worked, but after a few days the problem came back. This time I used my old 120W Weller ;-) soldering gun and added a jumper of bare copper wire across the pads. Been good for a few weeks now so I declare it fixed! FYI, I found it best to push that rubber "power button" out of the case when it was disassembled and then push it back in place after reassembling and verifying everything works (I used a toothpick to push the power button before putting the rubber back in.)
Yes! I figured that out about the rubber button as well. I'm glad that you got it working again. I hope that it will give you many more years of service.
Thank you so much for you guide to repair this common issue we all having. I did exactly what you posted in the video and it fixed the problem. Again thank so much 🙏
It works! My magnets were displaced after I opened up. FYI the flip on their side when you replace them! Not upright.... an hour of my life sanding magnets I won’t get back.
Thanks so much for the video. I actually followed your instructions and mine is working again. I think the heat is dissolving the solder over time. This product is defective. If you go to their Facebook page and you will see hundreds of unhappy customers!
Same problem, but in the Aerocinno 3, bought in Brazil. I had to add a small jumper, because the cupper of the PCB was gone. After that, it worked just fine. The root cause seems to be a problem with the heating element, that brokes in the connection point. That's for sharing the video!
A little update....a year after doing this fix on my milk foamer it started to fail again. I took it apart, re-melted the solder on the PCB board, and it put it back together. It is again working just fine!
Thanks you so much!
Worked for me ! Just to point out, when i tested the continuity with tester it tells me that is fine, but when I apply little bit of pressure with tester leads it looses continuity. Thank you very much for this video.
Another update: I've done the repair for the third time and it seems to be working well. I'm currently enjoying a delicious latte! I'm glad that everyone else has had success and we've saved some milk foamers from going into the garbage.
My machine won’t turn off. Once I place it on the base it automatically comes on, it does allow me to “shift@ from hot to cold though. Any idea what could be wrong?
hi can you please help. I open the aerochino and ther are 2 litle magnets. where do I need to set them back? the motor not spining. but it is geeting worm
Hi, I have exactly the same problem, but my heating plate looks totally differntly. I have just 3 contacts and one "point" for the NTC... that's it - some others, who could give a hint, what I can do??? Thanks in advance! P.S.: Sometimes, when i press often, the motor does not stop... but sometimes I have to push very often...
Yes, mine looks very similar to Yours, but that does unfortunately not solve our problems. I think, this must be an other issue (perhaps the relay or the heating takes too much current or something else in the electronic). I do not have a circuit diagram, so I cannot measure what's wrong. I phoned with the producer, and they told me, IF IT would be in guarantee (2 years), they would replace it, but mine is from 2009 - so they don't even have spare parts anymore. All the world i building things that You have to throw away when they don't function anymore, rather than repair them! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) What a sad world!

My wife is very pleased, this repair worked fine. Added a little solder. Thanks for posting!!
Awesome! It has been almost a year now since I did this fix, and our milk foamer has been working flawlessly.

That's great to hear, James. It makes me very happy to keep these machines working rather than throwing them out.
Gracias!!! Excelente video, GRSCIAS!!!

Top! My Aeroccino-3 was fixed when I followed your instruvtions. Thanks a lot! Stay safe.
Worked like a charm! Thanks for your help!
It works! My magnets were displaced after I opened up. FYI the flip on their side when you replace them! Not upright.... an hour of my life sanding magnets I won’t get back.
Same problem. Thank you! Added note. My magnets came out and replacing them was tricky. Flip the magnets edgewise to get the retaining cap to stay on.

I had the exact same problem! Thank you so much for the advice; saved me $100 as well.
spot on! mine had exactly same problem
Same problem here. Fixed it in minutes. Thank you!
Thanks I got exactly the same problems, fix it quickly, very helpful.

Hi. It works and i am happy. Thanks for this Video.
Thanks you so much!

Thanks for this, I've got a different model but the same problem. I'll get the thing stripped down and give it a whirl.

Mirsad Kandic Mine was the same; the bad solder connection actually separated under pressure. Resoldering the connection fixed the problem for me.
it’s work, amazing, thank you so much!💪🏻👍🏻
It worked. Thanks again!

Thanks , I've fixed the problem
amazing, it works! Also on my 3194. Thankyou!
hey,thanks. worked for me.
had the same problem, so happy I fixed it tnx!
Thnx it worked, only was hard to remove the bottem without damage
Hello! Please explain how did you opened it?
Exactly same problem on Aeroccino 3. Thanks!
Hi! Thnx for sharing. How did you open it?
fixed 2 of my machines doing the same fix thanks
Thanks wish you would have taught us how to open it up maybe put some links in
My machine won’t turn off. Once I place it on the base it automatically comes on, it does allow me to “shift@ from hot to cold though. Any idea what could be wrong?
My aeroccino 4 when I turn it on starts to spin about 1 second stops and all the lights stop until it turns off. Can it be the same fault? Thank you
Thx u for this ! I’ve fixed when in Nespresso’s support denied me any repair on aeroccino ( buy a new one)
Hola. Mi 3192 no funciona.
Thank you very much. You save me 90$...
this guy is ligit.. aerochino back online!!!
hi can you please help. I open the aerochino and ther are 2 litle magnets. where do I need to set them back? the motor not spining. but it is geeting worm
I'm sorry that I can't help you with that! I would need to take it apart again.

Same problem here. They might have different PCB layout for the same model.
You can view the PCB layout here! www.dropbox.com/sh/c04ca1jkwryb8jd/AAAJch7bsXlCvsV5h9SkJ-2qa?dl=0
