We, too, have a 12-week-old Cavapoo, his name is Winston from Pet Land, and he too was really pricey$$$$ but it's week 3, and we are still working on the potty training. As we do all the things listed in the video, he still has accidents if left longer than 10 minutes to play in the house outside his playpen area. Hopefully, he will be trained fully by the vaccinated time is complete because he full of energy and is ready for social time at the doggy parks.

My brother has one but can't handle her and was gonna give her away for free but my mom is going to take her instead. Yeah I heard they can range from around $800-5k 😮 that's ridiculous.

We got our darling Cavapoo Mia from PuppySpot. She was pricey, but worth every penny! She potty trained and crate trained fairly quickly, though she really wasn’t wild about the crate. Then my husband went and ruined our crate efforts by starting to let her sleep on our bed at night, which, though I love her to bits, I really don’t like…unless she’s been recently groomed. She is a very spunky dog. Bigger than we thought she’d be at 23+ lbs. (and not considered overweight), which is too much for me to comfortably lift. She’s a darling doggo, and we adore her.

Great and informative, can you tell me if its ok to potty train my 9 week old cavapoo who has a broken leg on potty pads. Seems she stumbles in the grass but does pee outside. Or is it confusing. I had to change her pad spot twice but now we are good.

Still have major problems toilet training both my cavoodle, a year and a six-month-old am seriously thinking of creating him and taking them out for wee stops, the weed on every mat and carpet in the house, I just took them out and they do have a doggy door but as soon as we got back inside the one-year-old weed on the carpet! I've never had this problem with any of my other dogs

Hopefully you’ll see this comment. I had the same problem with mine. I took her out every 15 mins, if she did not go potty, I put her in the kennel for 15, then back out. Same cycle over and over which took me 4 long hours, but she got the concept.

We have a 13 week old cavapoochon and she lets us know when she wants to poop. On the other hand having a pee is different. We do let her out very often but she still does it in the house. It is very annoying but lucky we don't have carpets 😁

    • @cydkriletich6538

She must be so darned cute that you can’t bear to scold her! I have heard that Bichons can be difficult to house break, so maybe it’s the “chon” in her that’s peeing inside, and not the Cavapoo! 🐶😉

I love owned several dogs in my life and none has been harder to potty train then my 5 month old cavapoo.
I just took him out today for a 25 minute walk and he's peed twice since we came home in less than an hour. Help please!! He knows he has been naughty from my tone of voice and saying bad dog. I do not believe in screaming or hitting them but I don't know what more to do.

I 100% agree. People (including me) get this breed because they are so cute, but potty training is a ton of work. Don't do it unless you're fully committed.
