48 Hour Camaro - Product Detail - VINTAGE AIR AC UNIT

The 1967 Camaro used for the 48 Hour Build wasn't equipped from the factory with AC. That didn't stop us from getting the best air conditioning system available! The Vintage Air Gen 4 system made the install of the condenser, evaporator and all the other components a breeze. Rick Love shows the details in this video.

really appreciated this video. im building a pro touring 69 camaro, and the car actually came with a vintage air unit, which i know NOTHING about!!! after inspection, i see it is a 2003 model, hence older technology and not one im looking for in my dream car. so ill ebay that unit and order new. dumb question, but how do these units generate heat, in the traditional way, with engine water?

Could i modify and make my own custom brackets, and install this particular Vintage air AC unit in my 1978 Chevy K5 Blazer? My Firewall is seal & has no holes in the firewall, i took out the old AC system.

If you're doing one of these A/C systems, you can find the E-Z clip pliers they use much cheaper online... if you shop around.
