- Hi all Chubbybots back here again with another installation in the rework series. This time I am bringing back the iconic Furno XL from Herofactory Lego set 44000! This is my own custom version of him as the Flame Knight!

this gave me so much nostalgia, i basically grew up with the lego hero factory sets

This is innovation right here. I love how the mixing of bricks and technic parts works so seamlessly with all of your builds.
Did you know that Lego has started hiring recently? I think you would be perfect for some of the jobs they have available. Of course, it's only a suggestion. I don't know if you have a higher paying job, or if you're simply not interested. Only a suggestion, but I think you'd be well suited for the job 😊

This is why I loved Bionicles so much, you could build your own hero/villain/ect. from whatever parts you had, and they would always look unique.
It's sad not seeing Bionicle sets on store shelves anymore.

@Lucky Well yes that is true, but when they brought back Boinicle in 2015, they had simular building system to Hero Factory.

Furno XL was always my favorite Hero Factory set. This just looks beautiful.

This honestly looks like the assembly tower malfunctioned and took the knight theme in to overdrive and it came out good
It looks like what a proper XL set should be and you still added more red than the official set
The thumbnail looked cool. But the build exceeded coolness.

Glorious model, and I find it awesome even though Bionicle is not really my thing. I particularly love the idea of the gun-shield, I think it is super creative. Plus the lower torso portion was resolved in a really creative and complex way. Congrats, awesome job as always!

Man, our boy William Furno has come a long way from the beginning, tbh I'd have used some of the original hero cores on the detailing showing he's at the strength of multiple.
I remember this and the blue one being my favorite

Woah. Its so cool that you finally did a rework for a set i actually have, i would've definitely paid more for this rather than the actual set. Im guessing you will do a brain attack bad guy next? Maybe a huge beefy version of one of the mind controlled creatures, like a minotaur or something.

That sword looked like fire (pun intend)
Wonderfull moc but I feel like he lacks fire he is supposed to be a flame knight yet hey only has fire coming out back of his head. I personally would use a ball joint and a flame piece and attach it to the empty shoulder sockets inside the shoulder helmets. It would look awesome

The original brain attack furno used the friction addons fo become cheaper for the size but it made him look like some scrawny teenager. Now this is what god intended he looked like.
