Ollie is exactly what this club has been crying out for this season and what a man he is!

Great too see Vic from the lsa, got the feeling that the club care again, some of the things ollie said warmed my hearts, watched with my two lads who go nearly every week home and away and they look buzzing about the future off the football club, as long as we remember that football needs fans then great things are to come. You r.sssssss

I agree with and appreciate most of what Ollie had to say, but I personally think he was off the mark regarding his comments on the players acknowledging the fans before away games. Certain players have certain pre-match routines, fair enough. However, asking them to give the fans a wave and a picture for a few seconds once they get off the coach is really not very much to ask, given that in all cases those fans have spent their hard earned cash on travel and tickets to the game. I understand the performance aspect of what Ollie is saying, but he must surely understand that little things like this creates the bond he wants between the fans and the players - on the flip side, ignoring the fans creates the ambivalence towards the players that he is trying to eradicate. That gripe aside, this was a very encouraging Fans Forum.
