horror game speedruns are weirdly funny to me the games tryna scare you but the player just runs by without a care in the world like “ok dont care” also nice job
@@criticalf0ll0w16 sometimes what makes a horror game scary, is the fear of the unknown, when then unknown is no longer a dread since you know whats coming to kill and try to scary you, your mind stay ready for the jumpscares. Thats why psychologic horror is becoming popular, the OG jumpscare spam horror game only work on the first hours and days of gameplay.
@Critical F0ll0w Yeah even stuff like the og silent hill, resident evil, and clock tower. Still remember I immediately turned off my playstation after encountering the first enemies when I was like fourth grade or something, and then years later im doing a knife only run. Mind you this also works with games with 'realistic graphics' where most people keep praising it and wanting them more in future games meanwhile this so called good graphics only works the first time you played it, if you already have like hundreds of hours playing it this shit called 'graphics' barely crossed your mind anymore and you only care about the gameplay/mechanics at that point
The funniest thing is how the player just swings their arms up and down when running, I personally find it hilarious! *But not when chased down by one heck of a monster*
i recorded this way because the recording would be laggy when i recorded the game itself. turns out it was lagging because of my uncapped framerate when i was playing, causing the recording to lag. i have since fixed that.

Same
I totally agree with that. Speed runs of horror games are definitely less scary compared to a normal play through.
@@ReeseHosgood To me that speedrun was way creepier. I almost passed out on hide and seek or living walls. Maybe it's just a worse day, who knows.
It certainly helps when the speedrunner in question has already played the game a dozen times already so they already know what happens.
This game loses it's strenght after a while of playing it but the first experience is never forgotten, what a good game!

A lot of horror games get less scary the more you play it

What game? I knew this felt like a roblox game
Zeekers, he made light bulb
@@Halfway-Stupid thanks for the info
@@Halfway-Stupid Holy shit I remember loving that game
Zeekers is really good at making horror games
@@Cooljo88827 no it definetly doesn't feel like a roblox game, it has good quality and it is actually scary

"Running is dangerous"
Speedrunners: *Must have been the wind*
you did great dude
Recording tip, you can layer multiple screens and crop in OBS, so you can play in fullscreen and show the timer as a layer on top :D

I like how game is trying to stop you from running, but you don't care
Im glad your starting a new speedrun community

@@biscuits468 noted
@@biscuits468 What about how the player funnily swings their hands when running
Playing this game on the latest version and living halls was looking different
biscuits be like: you really have no idea monster, how fast i really am, IM FAST AS CRAP BOIIIII
1:22 Did bro just dodged Legs attack like nothing?
Nice speedrun
how did you make the wall tiles in living halls the normal texture
This is an old version of the game, u can see that it came out two years ago, that was the texture for the game mode
damn bro just brute forced hide and seek
i would think you want to be caught in hide and seek so you can run again.
Rip old thumbnail
Don't you get scared? Are you a robot?
