Seattle's Pike Place Market is the original home of Starbucks and the inspiration behind our smooth, everyday coffee. This is what it's like to be there as the Market wakes up.
I work at Starbucks, there at 4:15 to open at 5:00, and what that one guy says, "If you don't take pride in your work and enjoy it, you shouldn't be doing it," is so true. Some of my friends can't believe how early we open, but I love it. I love my morning regulars who come in at 5:15am, and all they need to do is nod and smile and me and my barista have gotten their drink started. This video makes me so excited to even go back to work tomorrow. I hope one day I can visit the Pike Place store.
I love the incorporation of the freshness and high quality that the Pike Place Market is known for with the Starbucks Pike Place Roast! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL video.
Will be heading to Seattle from Australia in October 2022 and I will be sipping my favourite Starbucks coffee blend in its ancetsrail home more than once while I'm there
Wow, this video just draws you right into the Pike Place Market experience. Now I understand why the Pike Place Roast is such a special blend to the company. One of these days I hope to visit Seattle...and the Market. Excellent video Starbucks team and Market neighbors! :)
Wow... I really want and love to go to Seattle and Pike Place Market to experience where the first Starbucks store and its origins. And also, I want to drink that Pike Place Roast Coffee.
How come in the video you have a beautiful three group La Marzocco, while at all the Starbucks I've been to they've only used fully automatic one-press machines? And they don't seem to have control over their milk foaming either, because it's always a dry sort of foam. Well, I live in Sweden on the other side of the planet, so you probably don't have an explanation to my experience. :P anyhow, this video is really awesome

I visited Seattle in 2009 for the Penny Arcade Expo and stopped by the market to go to the first Starbucks store. Thanks for posting the video.

Can you stop with the annoying guitar music in your commercials?
Pikes place tastes like dirt and it's bs blonde roast only gets brewed in the am.
