This is a great kvm and lets you do a lot of modes that other kvms don't provide. Even being a big computer geek it took me a few minutes to figure out why I'd want two hdmi to one pc. I guess I thought the kvm would handle that or something lol. Works great! Thanks KST
I know this comment is a little old. I'm not nearly as knowledgeable as I'd like to be. Why are there dual connections to each PC?
@@misterdavidjoey you can run dual screens for each pc or show one monitor of each and flip that and the input around. I have a secure work PC and a home computer I flip between. I can do work but watch some auctions or at lunch I can game but keep an eye on work emails. Pretty slick device.

If only they actually supported 144 Hz. Everyone making KVM switches seems to be obsessed with 4K, but nobody pays any mind to refresh rate.
4k 60hz is the equivalent to 1080p 144hz btw
I did it just as you said but only one of my displays is working. My other monitor is a citiq. Could that be the problem? is there something special I need to do for a cintiq?

As shown in the advanced switching options, I assume you're able to simultaneously use both Pc's displayed on different monitors? Will my mouse be able to cross over between the two displays when doing so?
No, the 2nd PC will only display the screen and you cannot use it

It can do both. This is controlled by the OS on the PC
Hello, do you know if it also works in case my 2nd pc (=laptop) only has one hdmi output? Or do I need to use an adapter maybe to make it work? I'm worried it won't work for me... regarding the main pc everything is as you've shown in the video, but it feels bad to only connect one hdmi cable to the second pc. Thanks in advance for your advice!
It will work but you can display output only on one monitor from the laptop on top of the laptop's screen
Interesting. I'm surprised you can use both the motherboard HDMI port and the graphics card HDMI port on the desktop computer at the same time.
Great video, all seems perfect. Apart from my laptop has 1 HDMI port and no VGA port. Do you think a USB C to HDMI adapter would work the same as yours?

Question : i have my personal pc at home connect to 2 screens + when i work i am connecting to my office computer thru a remote connection. Now i have my office computer connect to moniteur 1 and mt home computer connect to my monitor 2 - i can like this if i want copy text information from the working officecomputer and paste it to my home office computer. Is this KMV will allow me to do that ?
No. The KVM doesn't make any connection between the 2 PCs

Would an HDMI adaptor that plugs into a USB port work?
And if an adapter would work, do you have suggestions for any (USB 3.0) that do not require installation of a driver? I can't install drivers, etc. on my work computers. Thanks!

What if I won't use two computers simultaneously? I have a WFH PC and a desktop. I don't need to use them both at the same time. Are the any way? The KVM Switch is a bit pricey.
If you want to switch between 2 computers and not use them simultaneously and keep a low budget, here's what you need to do.
1- Monitors have usually 2 or more inputs so connect each PC to 1 of the inputs
2- Get a USB switch like this one: amzn.to/4695UUR to switch the keyb, mouse and peripherals between the 2 PCs.

This looks interesting. However, why is there only a HDMI option for the two monitors? I have Display ports on my two monitors to take advantage of refresh rates of 144 or higher?....I don't get it? Is this just for 4K/60mzh using HDMI only monitors? But why connect DP cables to your 2 PC's DP ports? What is the purpose of that? As you can tell, I am confused as hell!!!..lol
