Excellent Job! You're spot on. I have to admit I was not thrilled with the BMW set , but as I see how you've adjusted the design, it's making me more keen to give it a go.
Nice video. I did modify the M4 but adding one stud to the very front and it looks much better thanks. I might have done mine slightly differently due to having the parts.
normally i research the real car dimensions, and try and match it to a scale that will fit with the lego pieces available, i plate, 1 brick etc. most speed champions are approximately 1:29 scale so it can be tricky to get the right height, width, wheel base and length.
Great correctiobs but to me there is a flaw on how you measure the car lenght, you should measure it from the front to the rear of the body, not considering the front diffuser and rear wing as they are and will always be disproportionate due to the source material, to me it feels as wrong as counting the haircut in someone's hight. I feel the wheel base should be the main reference to compare a lego car to its original car
Yes your right the wing and diffuser are too big. Unfortunately there are lots of limitations due to the parts available but it’s fun trying to get them as close as possible
That was my original plan as that is the way I did it with last years speed champions mods. This one was fiddling around a bit with a couple of ideas before I was finished but I will try and recreate and post instructions on rebrickable if the parts are available in stud.io software (some times there is a delay getting the new pieces in the software)

I liked your video and I like that you want to keep the real proporation. How do you do that?
